I was appalled by the show. To start off with, there was no mention when I bought the tickets, that there would be limited viewing from my seats. Mind you, having said that, it was probably a blessing in disguise. I couldn't believe how a live performance could have trashed such a Master Piece film, (the first one!). This was vulguar, cheap, very loud, hysterical and tbh; I walked out at half time with my guest. I couldn,t wait to get out of the theatre. I am please that the show has made money and was considered a success by theatre goers, but it pales against the original film which was a delight and very very funny.

Grandson is a newly graduated actor he chose the show as his treat for obtaining his degree we absolutely loved it from start to finish.

The show was brilliant, everyone in it threw everything they had into it which is hard on a matinee. The costumes were beautiful and the chorus had so many of them. The set was simple but effective. The only thing which spoiled it for me was that my seat wasn’t sold as restricted view, but it was. My advice, don’t book the Grand Circle unless you’re in the front row.

So refreshing to laugh at the world again. Things that technically you shouldn’t say now. It reminds you that you should be able to laugh at just about anything IF you’re sharing the laughs out on different groups. Brilliantly production. Great acting and a great performance by the whole team.
