Absolutely suffocating heat in the theatre and really uncomfortable seats which is a form of torture when the play is three house

Seats were on stage, tickets special offer, excellent. Play is peak Stoppard, blend of intellect, wit, humanity. I saw the original at the NT in 1993; it had a vast set that looked like Capability Brown whereas this production is small and intimate - both excellent but surprising how much it changes the feel of the play, this version focuses on the words. However one criticism: the actors wore mics and on a couple of people in the second half they resonated, sounded fake (which was very obvious because the other actors didn't). Also the programme isn't worth buying: it provides info about the background science and lots of credits, but doesn't provide a scene setting and character list, which to me is the essential page of any programme.

An absolutely fantastic production. The staging and acting was top class and the storyline was fascinating. Some deeply dense dialogue was delivered with aplomb and I was mesmerised through the entire performance. Thoroughly enjoyable

Very good onstage seats at a bargain price. The show itself, although slightly undercast, has *vastly* improved since its run at the Old Vic: recommended - but have your wits about you!

Although first shown in 1993 it’s still fresh, intelligent, witty and relevant. It’s performed in the round with the rotating stage a representation of time making the on stage seating a great theatrical bargain.

Great revival of a brilliant play showing Stoppard at his best .Funny, clever, intriguing and thought provoking .Poking a little fun at academia and enabling us to witness the layers in time between 1810 and present day. To ponder the infinite and to wonder about genius and originality. Excellent cast all playing their parts so well. I saw the original NT production with Bill Nighy Felicity Kendall Rufus Sewell et al and it certainly stands up to the comparison. David L

I wish I had read the plot before the start of the play. I found the first 20-30 minutes hard going. I thought the actors were excellent but the story could have been told in half the time as far as I could see. I guess this just wasn’t my cup of tea.

Such an intelligent thought-provoking play, with the level of acting and articulation that Stoppard needs, and a very unobtrusive but powerful staging.

Super production of my favourite play. Subtle interpretation of a complex interweaving story.
