I’ve started flying London to Dundee to miss out the travel to Edinburgh or Glasgow, it’s expensive hence 4 stars, but I enjoy it, quick direct and no hassle.

I wish I had read reviews before making a booking.
My flight booking was for 13.25 pm, and they have changed it to 8.35am. My travel companion is my elderly mother who cannot manage the early morning start for that flight.
Loganair are refusing a refund because the change is within the 5 hour limit. It is 10minutes less than 5 hours, yes you read that right - just TEN MINUTES !! - and that is what they are using to justify refusing a refund.

Flying from Birmingham to Aberdeen, check in was easy as was baggage drop. Got on the plane and had to wait about 20 minutes for two passengers to be craned onto the aircraft as they couldn't get up the tiny steps. Flight was then late and I missed my car hire at Aberdeen - closed when I got there. The flight back was delayed as they couldn't close the aircraft door - technical issue which after 20 minutes they decided couldn't be fixed. Luckily there was a spare plane which they prepped and got us airborne within an hour. Kudos for getting that bit sorted ! on a more personal level, all the staff were pleasant and polite, the aircraft was clean and comfortable even though it was tiny ;) Embraer 145 is only three seats wide !

Loganair ruined the start of our holiday. They cancelled our Isle of Man to Manchester flight after keeping us waiting nearly 3 hours. Even with a 24-hour buffer, we still missed our long-haul connection because the next flight was fully booked, losing a full day of our trip. Their staff booked us a £191.98 hotel (which we had to pay upfront) and told us to claim it online, but now refuse to cover the full cost. They also won’t reimburse taxis, even though we had already travelled to the airport by taxi and we had heavy luggage. They also refuse to give any compensation for the huge inconvenience, hiding behind lies about “bad weather” and “air traffic slots.” I was there, it was SUMMER, conditions were clear, and I have weather data to prove it. Customer Relations have been RUDE, dismissive, and dishonest. Instead of helping, they’ve caused nothing but stress, expense, and misery. Shameful airline — NEVER AGAIN.

We were due to fly home from Southampton to Edinburgh LM326 at 16.00 hrs arrived at the airport early noticed a earlier flight at 14.00 hrs i asked the lady if there were ant empty seats she said it was half empty so I asked could we get that flight yes but it would be £55 each to change so we waited for the scheduled flight which was delayed 2.5 Hours I complained to Loganair asked for £50 compensation for Two meals & extra parking charges. NEVER replied greedy firm who just want profit over customer satisfaction . LOGANAIR Please do not reply i have read your comments which are unsympathetic . Received a reply 7th September to my review from loganair who stated they had received my claim and I would have had an automatic email with a claim Number . Never happened !

Utter disgrace of an airline.
Staff rude & unhelpful.
Robbed me of Avios points prematurely, disgraceful customer service.
Lied to about expiry dates.
I'm sure they'll reply with some nonsense but it's lies.
Avoid this awful, overpriced little airline.

We have now been sitting at Newquay airport for 7 hours
We are travelling to Edinburgh and our flight had a technical fault
The airline is notionally sending another plane to get us but we have heard nothing for 5 hours now and any plane coming to get us has not left
If we had been told the truth at the outset we could have organised other routes
Mind you we’ve been given a £15 expense at the cafe - which has to be spent in one go
This airline is truly unbeleivable

Be VERY VERY wary of booking with this shambolic airline. I have flown with them a lot, and always pay over-the-odds for the fare from my local airport to save the hassle of getting to Edinburgh.
THEY changed my flight from Southampton to Edinburgh, was meant to take off 19:55, schedule changed to 16:50. At 16:50 my ferry will still be docking at Portsmouth. So, no big deal, wrote to them and asked for a refund, isn't even such an expensive flight. Shower of crooks have written back per below:
"As the schedule change is under five hours, it's not eligible for a refund."
FIVE hours of a schedule change isn't considered "significant" by this mob.
I'll dispute the charges with my credit card company and won't use them again.
Shambles.

I wish I could give Loganair 0 stars because I’m utterly disgusted with their greedy, grasping ways.
In October 2024 we booked tickets to see Coldplay in Wembley on September 8th 2025. We then immediately booked our flights to Heathrow (nearly a year in advance) and much to my dismay, had to pay £1,043.00 for 2 adults and 2 children…I thought the cost was outrageous but unfortunately it’s necessary being that we live on the Isle of Man.
Fast forward to yesterday (30/08/2025) and Coldplay had to reschedule our concert date from September 8th to September 12th due to planned London Underground strikes.
I went online to change our flights and was agog when they asked me to pay another £1,006.00 when I’d already paid £1,043.00, meaning altogether I’d be paying £2,050 for a family of 4 to fly across a stretch of water from the Isle of Man to London!
I rang their Customer Services number because I couldn’t believe for a second I was going to be charged over £2k in total to fly to London - but I was informed that this was absolutely the case.
I’d also checked their website which stated that Logan air typically charge £50 per person per leg of the trip to change a ticket, which although again was daylight robbery at £400 for a family of 4 was more affordable - however I was being charged fare difference, not an admin charge.
I feel really let down by Logan air because we always fly with them when we fly from the island because to me they feel like a more local airline and I’ve always preferred to support them rather than the bigger names such as BA and EasyJet, however no more…I’ll never, ever fly with the greedy, grasping, unfair thieves that are Logan air again. You’ve lost a very good customer in me Logan air.

So many excuses!!

Regular user of flights on Loganair, but things are deteriorating. Staff as ever are lovely (hence not one star), but flights get changed and delayed too frequently, with little help. Perhaps best example recently...I'm flying from Kirkwall to Manchester soon, but I've just been informed that my flight from Aberdeen has been brought forward. It now sets off before my flight from Kirkwall lands...but this is deemed a reasonable change so no refund offered! And it takes ages to get through on the helpline - last time I tried they told me that even the queue was full!

Glasgow to Kirkwall return perhaps the most expensive flight I have taken in decades given the short distance and flying time. Never again. In future will take other travel options. On return flight to Glasgow, baggage left in aircraft for approx 50 minutes - same as actual flight time. No Loganair staff on hand to explain unacceptable baggage delay - people missing onward connections and zero Loganair ground staff. Utterly unacceptable.

My first Logan Air flight this weekend, Edinburgh to Isle Of Man and back.
Fantastic experience, staff were lovely- cabin crew members Anna and Alison where absolutely fantastic so friendly and helpful. As a nervous flyer I was worried about a new airline and a new type of plane I had never flown on but..I was so wrong to be worried, Pilots were very professional, plane was so comfy compared to any other plane I have been on, lots of space, less people cramped in like sardines and just an absolute pleasure to fly on. 10/10 Loganair, I have had a fantastic weekend in Isle Of Man and my flight home on Sunday was Equally as comfortable. Yes we had a couple of timing issues, but none of that was Loganairs fault, Airport issues caused a small delay - Loganair staff could not have been more apologetic about it and made sure we knew what was happening. Check in staff were fantastic at both Sides of the holiday. Cannot recommend Loganair enough! I will definitely fly with them again.
Where can I start. Another one of my Loganair flights delayed with 6 hours as I type this (update: it got cancelled after waiting almost 5 hours, shocker). I try to avoid Loganair as much as possible but unfortunately have to fly with them to go to Edinburgh from Bergen. I have developed PTSD from an incident at Edinburgh Airport 1.5 years ago with the Loganair staff when I was seven minutes late to luggage check-in due to an emergency appointment at the doctors. I am never late for check-in, in fact - I am normally the first to arrive before even the staff gets there. The three middle aged ladies showed no sympathy for me, and almost seemed to enjoy their authority over me as a young woman while I was crying and being visibly upset with the situation due to the traumatic medical and emotional state I had been in the past 12 hours. To this date, they are some of the most rude people I have ever encountered and I will never forget how small the three of them made me feel that day. My luggage could easily have been transported to the plane, but they made it difficult simply because they could. I was told to call Loganair help desk, where I was number 17 in the queue for 20 minutes until I gave up and left the airport. Thankfully, my insurance company covered a new flight for me the next day due to my medical condition with Norwegian (they are always reliable with Edinburgh flights). It was extremely important for me to be on that plane, which the staff understood, but still decided to enjoy their authority over me and deny me to check-in the luggage. Life is difficult enough, and Loganair somehow manages to make it worse. I don’t see this airline surviving in the long term the way it’s going. This aviation company needs to seriously change. Try hiring polite staff? Try being on time? Try lowering your prices? Try having a more robust customer service structure in place? You’re nothing without your passengers. With the way it’s going, you’re about to dissolve into nothing.
And the connotation to Scottish culture is embarrassing for the Scottish nation. If you’re advertising with tartan, at least run your business properly.

Worst airline. CEO obviously does not care about his customers. Cannot speak to anyone on phone, charging extortionate fares. Customer services do not respond to emails. Robbing its customers.

Reply from Loganair
Prices are extortionate! Disgusting amount to pay for a flight that takes 1hour max. Costing us £750 for two adults and two children under 2! Unfortunately it is our only option, prices need to be looked into, terrible!

Reply from Loganair
Having used them many times I have decided never again, yesterday booked a ticket and money taken from my account with proof sent to Logan Air, spoke to a lady in the phone whom seemed helpful. Then 3 emails yesterday, today went online and found out they had refunded me the money, so called back and was royally shafted an extra £10 each way, followed by an extra £50 plus on ticket price as the flight is on Sunday.
This airline is worse that the budget airlines and will shaft you at every turn in the booking process, over £700 for a return ticket on a plane less than half full from Norwich to Aberdeen is completely ridiculous.
Ripping people off and total lack of customer care I’m pretty sure and hope that this airline goes out of business soon as it’s a disgrace to the airline industry.
I will be making a complaint to the UK Aviation Authority today, as this cannot go on, especially with PROOF of payment sent.
Went to book a flight, got through the entered details and payment info, clicked proceed and then a message popped up which said that as this flight is in demand I have to pay more than £100 extra. I had little alternative other than to pay. But if this flight is not full, there will be questions asked.

The check in and flight, the whole experience was really nice. The plane was very clean and comfortable. The air hostesses looked after us on our flight and were lovely polite friendly women. Complimentary tea, coffee and water plus biscuits. Fabulous flight ❤️
