We're looking for secondary schools in the area, and Locrating was very helpful when summarising catchment areas, test scores, ratings, and so much more. I definitely recommend it if you're searching for the right school for you - it really helped to narrow down the search!

We're in the middle of a house move, and Locrating is the ultimate tool for identifying school catchments, ratings, subscriptions, amenities, crime rates, etc. It's so easy to use, has a great interface, and I love the Right move extension. 6/5 stars from me.

We signed up for Locrating whilst trying to choose a primary school for our son. I had been finding it hard to find all the information I needed to help make a decision elsewhere online but found it all collected together on Locrating and presented in a really useful way. Highly recommended.

Lots of very relevant data very well presented. Also the mini help videos explain everything as you go along.

Recently used Locrating to help us find a new town to live in. We needed to co-ordinate different stages of education and Locrating allowed us to do this with ease and for an affordable price. We were able to search through lots of different schools to narrow down our search. Locrating offers lots of helpful information such as pupil numbers, where pupils go on to next, catchment and results. When we had narrowed down our search we could click straight through to the schools website for more information.

We got enormous value from our 10 month Locrating subscription as we coordinated a relocation to the UK and search for a school and nursery place for our children. I don't believe there is any market alternative that brings so many data points all into one very useable website. This allowed us to create very bespoke and targeted searches. We secured our first choice school and nursery. Highly recommend.

My wife and I are emigrating from South Africa to UK and started to realize it was going to be harder than we thought finding rental properties with good schools information. Lots of advice out there from friends and family on what to do, but we couldn't find it all in one place. Until we came across the Locrating site which seemed too good to be true at first, but after searching about, we kept coming back that it was just the easiest, most visual mapping and had all the filters and features we wanted and needed to make our list and save favorites. It really was a relief to know that Locrating had already created what we were saying anyone looking to move to the UK should have access to. Locrating has been an invaluable resource for my partner and I. We relocated to England 3 years ago, however, after having our first child we have been searching for a place to live that will also provide us with the best state schools. The amount of information there is to consider when looking for a school can be quite overwhelming at first, but Locrating made it very easy to understand in a quick way. It has been extremely informative and has clarified a lot of things as the school search was new to us. This is a great resource for parents looking to decide upon which school or nursery to send their children to. There is a huge amount of data to use and, helpfully, instructional videos on what the datapoints mean and why they may be useful. I will definitely be using this site again, great interface and well-thought out.

Locrating is an easy to use service, with an intuitive interface. It really helped us decide the best place to move to for local schools. It's also great that Locrating have info on nurseries too. We'll be using it again I'm sure.

This is a brilliant website for anyone looking for schools or looking to move areas- invaluable info about schools plus useful info about the areas like social demographic info, distances, broadband speeds etc. highly recommended!

I’ve used locrating a few times. It’s been especially helpful when we’re moving house, or the kids are moving on to secondary schools near us. Definitely recommended as the go-to for finding out pretty much any data about schools. Use this!

We subscribed to Locrating for a few months while choosing a primary school for our kid. We were in the process of moving across country, to an unfamiliar city, and choosing a school with no knowledge of local reputations. So for us, seeing schools on a map, with visual catchment areas, and quick links to school websites, Ofsted reports and the ability to keep, sort and compare a short list were just a godsend. We used it multiple times a week and compared dozens of schools across a city. We basically used it not only to choose a school but also to choose a neighbourhood to live!

I honestly don't know how we would have managed without Locrating to rely on. It took so much stress and busywork out of an unavoidably stressful process. Thank you!

And an anecdotal note to anyone who is "shocked" about the inclusion of public data like income, education and ethnic breakdown. We actually found this useful in making our choice. We used Locrating's data to *avoid* schools with a 90%+ white majority (the only kind you find in our current small town), opting instead for those with a broad mixture. I'm glad we were able to do this, as one of our motivations for moving to a big city is to let our kids make friends with people who don't have identical backgrounds and life experiences (a privilege I never had), and it would have been a shame to end up in a super homogenous catchment by mistake. And I can imagine it would be even more useful for a non-white family making the same move.

This website is AMAZING. I can't recommend it enough. I recommend this to everyone I meet or anyone who asked me about schools. I'm a school teacher and a parent and I found this so useful when discovering schools in the local areas, and even when I was moving house, then I used this to explore and find out the school in the areas as well. One thing that is great is you can subscribe prices are really cheap for the amount of content you get, also fee really flexible as well. The customer service is brilliant, really fast responses to questions and your email is answered really quickly. There was a little issues with the subscription, however, this was resolved so fast, I didn't even notice the issue. So brilliant service.

Excellent value for money. This website is just amazing! It has everything you need to know and is really easy to use. We've just used it to make our primary school application, which was a really big deal for us. We wouldn't have known where to start if it wasn't for Locrating. Having all the crucial information clearly laid out in an easy to digest way was just brilliant. It's a goldmine of data! You can even see which secondary schools kids go to from each primary school. I had no issue cancelling now we no longer need it. I definitely recommend!

We're moving back to the UK from Switzerland next year and this site is proving to be really helpful in helping us plan the move.
