I made the mistake of ordering a garden gate from them via B&Q. It’s so weak I’d be surprised if it lasts more than a few weeks. My wardrobe doors are genuinely more sturdy than this gate. I’m in the process of trying to return it and get a refund.
It was quite cheap but the gate is so poor it’s actually a waste of materials and it would be a waste of wood stain to try to protect it.
I’d stay clear of a company that is willing to sell such inferior products and won’t use them again

Everything was there but the instruction book was a little confusing at times. It might just be me but the diagrams weren't as clear as they could be. Overall a very good product for the price.
Managed to survive Storm Dave although a few panels blew out. I have since sealed the panels in with clear gaffer tape and it has been very sturdy in subsequent high winds. Although I bought this in October 25 I only built it in March 26.

Kitchen tap. The tap lever went slack, then fell off. I cannot work out how to repair, no access due to a faulty design.
Horrid letter saying that, quote " after 12 months of use, cannot evaluate the cause of failure, cannot replace or repair, Have a nice day!"
Not acceptable service. Avoid this company's products.
I'm sure most people would expect a tap to last longer than 12 months...but with living and home one year and that's your lot...

I have already did a review yesterday and after hearing from them today I am even more livid by them.
I ordered a metal storage shed from them order number:51530964
So this thing turns up badly damaged panels bent over etc.
So they get back to me today not accepting responsibility and slaps me in the face with a £50 discount on any of their products at a future date, well after this experience I shall not be shopping with them any longer and I do not advise anyone else too!!!
They just want your money for the tatt they are selling and you have no way of getting any monies back in return, also Wowcher do not really help their complaints dept is a joke.
Well I hope people take what I'm saying on board and vote with their feet and not shop with them.
Cheap isn't always best that I can guarantee.
All companies care about this day n age is reviews too so have this one on me your a scam and sell non descriptive faulty products and accept no responsibility for it.
I am absolutely livid with myself for falling for it, please, please please stay away from this company if you cherish your hard earned cash.

My previous review was more about Evris failings then this company.Evri however came good in the end,so my original review was somwhat unfair.Re my order,( commercial sink unit and base. Not without its faults all of which can be overcome with a little work, but superb value for money, you get the base unit,a shelf, and the 8 supports, with the sink slotting in on top.I didnt expect a tap,and waste kit,but those are included too.Only niggle is the long members of the base unit, are only thin, and can easily be kinked if you ( as I did) use your foot to steady it,when assembling.Even so,its still superb value for money when compared with typical base units at diy stores, and its stainless steel, far better then chipboard or mdf so common, and you get the sink as well.As I said, its not without its faults, but all easily rectified with a bit of thought. The more I look at it,the better I like it. Very pleased.

From the Wowcher platform I ordered a Midea single induction hob, it was supplied by Living and Home.
The package arrived without any wrapping just in an open unsealed tatty box, it looked like a second or a return.
Sure enough it was faulty, two of the rubber feet were missing, and the warm button did not work as it went straight on to a full boil mode.
Reported this and got a return label to send to a Manchester address, it was stated in writing that my postage cost would be refunded.
Within in 4 days the parcel was returned to my home address I believe because Living and Home refused to accept it why I do not know as I had a return number.
I re posted immediately and this time it was delivered successfully and I had prove of delivery and location by photo and map.
In the mean time I was sent another address in Oldham to return the parcel to, of course this was to late as I had already posted.
So I now asked for my postage refund just a mere amount of £5.71, I was shocked to hear back that I did not qualify for the refund as the parcel was returned to me, yes it was but then reposted with proof of delivery so should be no issue and would not break the bank.
So that is where it stands I have been thrown under the bus and get no reply to e-mails.
Fortunately Wowcher have a no quibble guarantee and they refunded me for the faulty product very quickly.
So use Living and Home and take a chance that the product is good or prepare for the worst.
Well it is now 28thApril, and following a lovely positive well constructed reply I had high hopes of a refund as promised, I have waited patiently and checked my inbox regularly.
So the words in the reply must just have been AI generated as it was all a load of bunkum.

There was a long delay in delivering the sofa I bought. In the end, what should have been delivered in 1-2 weeks, arrived after a full 6-weeks. I felt the company should have kept me updated, rather than leaving it to me to chase them. I also felt annoyed that at the time of ordering they offered me a choice of a present, and I picked one, but I never received it

Picked up a dishwasher in perfect unpacked condition. The delivery not been updated or refunded so now we are being chased by klarna for payment. Either the courier or this company have lost or stolen this product
No one is responding to emails

Very disappointing experience.
I requested to cancel my order multiple times before it was shipped, but my requests were completely ignored and I kept receiving repetitive copy-paste responses.
Despite clearly stating that I no longer wanted the item, the company continued to push for shipping instead of processing a cancellation and refund.
I was also previously asked to provide full card details and CVV, which is extremely concerning and unacceptable.
This experience has been very frustrating and unprofessional. I would not recommend this company.
Issue still not resolved. The company continues to ignore my cancellation request.
Be careful when ordering.

Update: this is really the most ridiculous experience I've ever had as a customer. In addition to everything below, Living and Home seem to be incapable of even basic maths.
They have processed the wrong amount for my refund. When I queried it, they said it was because the third party site I purchased it through deducts a small charge for returns. This is in breach of basic consumer rights laws on faulty or damaged goods. Regardless of that fact, the amount that site charges was still far less than the amount missing from my return.
Every email I've had from the customer service team is sent by a customer service rep with a different name. And at least half of the emails have spelling mistakes, grammatical errors or sentences that don't make sense.
ORIGINAL REVIEW
Bought a £350 reclining armchair from this company via the Debenhams website.
When I unboxed it and read the manual, I discovered that the manual states that the back of the armchair has to be removed in order for the chair to safely recline. This essentially defeats the point of having a powered recliner and takes away all the convenience the product supposedly offers. It says nothing about this on the listing for the item. It was also damaged in a handful of places.
Fast forward to the returns process. Initially they told me I would have to pay the return postage and they would refund it. If any company ever tells you this when returning a damaged, faulty or incorrectly described product, check the consumer rights act. It's essentially not your responsibility.
It took nearly a week to get a proper response from customer services. They continually missed their own deadlines for replying to me.
What's worse is it was delivered by DX. A really reputable and decent delivery company. Living and Home elected to hire XDP to collect the item from me. XDP have a trustpilot score of 2.3. I can only imagine this was done to save money on the return. Surprisingly, XDP did not turn up to collect the item.
So now I have a massive bulky box of broken sofa stuck in my house and I'm waiting to see what Living and Home do about it.

Ordered an item through the B&Q market place. Their courier lost the item, I immediately and openly requested a refund, and instead they keep buying time asking me if I want other products. This is absolutely ridiculous. Please do not use this company. They could have saved their name by fixing the situation swiftly and providing an immediate refund, instead they are wasting everyone's time and showing they are not a good company.

Has been an absolute nightmare going into third week of emails between us, via brand alley as of course contact is not direct!?
Received sofa that was wrong colour - something we were happy to overlook as we weren’t put off by the colour we got, but we also had two broken legs and missing back seat pads and cushions. Disposed of boxes thinking it would be a quick apology and an easy fix for them to send the missing parts and replace broken legs….. how wrong can you be?
Said it was “too much hassle” to have the item collected and would we accept £20!? We literally have half a sofa with two broken legs?! They then said they would REsend the missing parts - so in effect saying we are lying that the weren’t even in the boxes and to send us circled items of parts we claim are missing. We sent multiple photos of everything, including a photo of the smashed legs and of the instruction manual parts selection with everything ticked that was there, so it was obvious what we needed sent to us, so just repeatedly ask you for information that you’ve already sent through….perhaps to wear down your resolve and kill time??
Now the latest is they won’t pick up the item as we do not have the original packaging (something I stated from the very first call with brand alley, as we are in a flat and didn’t have room to store boxes that size) and even said ‘unless we have changed our mind and wish to keep the item!?… at this stage, it’s a complete joke to have even chanced that one.
In all honesty we just thought they would send us the rest of the order and new legs, so we weren’t exactly prepared to have any issues whatsoever and certainly not to this extent.
So now we need to find boxes big enough - for a sofa!? I have no idea where I can get those, but Living & Home say their courier will refuse collection otherwise and they will not send us packaging prior to arranging a date for collection. The fact we disposed of the boxes is not grounds to refuse collection of a faulty item, it really isn’t.
No contact number, reply at very early hours of the morning and you go back on the merry go round to wait another 24/48hrs for a reply. It’s been horrendous and have a (half) sofa in the flat that we can’t use, taking up room that we just don’t have so we can receive delivery of a new one.
I honestly believe they think if they keep it going long enough they will get us into such a state that we will keep the broken and half received item. Truly unbelievably bad service.
I would recommend you just avoid altogether, either that or accept whatever they choose to send you as it will cost you your sanity to get it resolved.
Reporting all of this to CMA and Trading Standards this week as I feel like we have waited long enough. We have every right to request a return and someone is sitting with our money that we have paid for an item that isn’t fit for purpose and is incomplete.
Update after response from L&H: Your first draft response was better, but I will await the confirmation of the refund first and dispose of the item at our local recycling centre.
It should not take a trust pilot review to initiate a resolution to an issue that was so clear in the first place. I really do hope you are true to your word and do not allow this situation to happen to someone else. Kind regards, NMarshall

Lots emails backwards and forwards regarding delivery costs consumer rights etc no point was third party costs for delivery applied. Website updated now to say third party costs apply quite coincidental that

NO EXPECTATION OF BEING DURABLE.
We ordered a Living and Home light fitting via Debenhams. Within 18 months, the light stopped working, we believe due to a faulty driver.
We contacted the company to ask for a replacement fitting but they said that after a 1 year warranty, they were unable to help. We then asked at least for a replacement driver, and they said they could only provide us with a driver if we paid for it.
Unhelpful customer service unwilling to help a customer solve a problem with a faulty item.
