I have taken many online classes and I must say Live Lingua is far superior than other schools/ programs. Both the private lessons and group( conversation and grammar) are very well structured. The caliber of the professors is outstanding. They are professional, prepared, organized and very easy to learn from. I feel fortunate to have found them and to be enrolled in their program. Highly recommend!

I have been learning Spanish at Live Lingua with Rocío for a few months now. I have noticed a major improvement with my Spanish thanks to my amazing tutor. Everyone at the organization is so accommodating, and the value is great. I highly recommend this language learning program!!

I've been studying with Live Lingua for several years.
For the past several months, I've had private lessons with the instructor - Elena. I find her to be very helpful and patient. She makes corrections without making me feeling embarrased. She writes the corrections down so that I not only hear them but can visualize them also. She never seems to mind that there are subjects that I need to go over again and again! She's positive and encouraging without being over the top. She seems to remember from one lesson to the next what we've discussed and always asks if I would like a review - giving me the option to say no. I love that she speaks quickly because it helps me train my ear to understand fast-speakng Spanish speakers. She gives me an extra burst of motivation to continue learning Spanish. She's a delight to work with and I enjoy sharing stories about our families.

I'm in my third year of taking group conversation classes after noting my reading and writing levels were significantly higher than my ability to converse. This was because I could practice reading and writing by myself but had limited ability to practice conversing with others. The classes have delivered exactly what I needed: an affordable venue to consitently practice speaking / conversing in Spanish.

I travel during the summer and also liked the ability to pay on a month-by-month basis and not pay for a month or so until I was able to resume classes.

I have been doing the On Line classes with Live Lingua for just over 2 years starting in 2022 Conversational Spanish with Grammer and conversation group classes starting at the beginner level and advancing to the Intermediate level, as well as some private lessons with a native speaking tutor. I have really enjoyed the classes, found they were constructive, and noted an improvement in my comprehension and speaking ability. In the winter of 2025, I stepped away from taking lessons, as I traveled to Portugal and Spain, for a month, and then moved provinces within Canada in the Spring. After taking a hiatus from lessons for about 5 months, I was interested in getting back to learning Spanish. Upon re- starting with Live Lingua, I realized I did lose or forget some of what I had learned, but it is starting to come back. The biggest thing I have learned from taking a break, is comparing it to exercise; in that it is much easier to stay in shape, keep studying every day even if it's just a half hour, than it is to get in shape, stepping away from it, and then re- starting. However, the support has been great from Live Lingua and with the use of their new platform which I find is more interactive between instructor and student. All in all, it's good to be back, and no time like the present to get back on the Spanish journey, which is a marathon and not a sprint.

Live Lingua tutors and staff came to my rescue when I was asked to minister with Latino communities. With the help of tutors I am now comfortable with speaking both in formal and informal settings. The grammar and conversation classes have provided additional support and encouragement.

What made my experience so good was the quality of instructors I had during this journey. All three had different approaches to assist my learning and all were interested in helping me improve. I feel like they are more friends now than instructors. Really enjoyed all of my classes with them. Administratively, I had nothing but positive experiences dealing with any issues I may have had (which were minimal). They answered all of my questions thoroughly and quickly. Very positive all around and I highly recommend Live Lingua for your learning needs/desires.

I love to study French, I love my French teacher and I love Live Lingua. There are other approaches to the study of a foreign language - and I have used them - but for me Live Lingua is the best. Short of actually living in France, Live Lingua helps me use French in discussions, listening, and the real hard one - grammar. I will continue to use Live Lingua as long as I can.

The big difference I have found with Live Lingua is that it is possible to reliably schedule multiple sessions with the teachers every week. On other platforms availability is a problem. It’s almost as if I have a virtual immersion experience without leaving my house. Also, with three different teachers, I get a good mix of accents and approaches to learning.

I like that LL paired my husband and I with a teacher who can teach the Spanish of the region we frequent. Berenice is very encouraging, comes up with good lessons and homework to reinforce the material.

My Live Lingua instructor has been very helpful and patient. Over the course of a year my ability to understand and speak Arabic improved dramatically and my test scores shot through the roof!

I love having a private tutor and the flexibility to adjust the coursework to my more specific goals, like practicing listening with unique accents and focusing on unique slang. With a lot of Spanish material, it feels like you only learn really stiff Spanish from a book. That's why before LiveLingua, I never took classes, because it always felt like I could just learn the formal stuff online for free.
I did decide not to pay for group classes however because the most advanced level didn't seem like quite enough. I don't know if it would make sense for the business but perhaps you all could consider making more advanced group classes and conversation classes that are less "formal Spanish".

I have learned a tremendous amount through my teacher Yoselin. I am now able to converse with my neighbors and continue to advance. I would recommend live lingua as the lessons are customized to your ability, interest and the specific areas you wish to work on.

Two months into my learning I switched instructors, because of no fault to anyone, and finally connected with Lauren. When I tell you that she was just the instructor for me, that's putting it lightly. She has guided in my learning, so that I know about different parts of the Spanish culture, I learned American history and musica from all genres. Thank you. My Live Lingua customer ID is 36744. I'm very happy with the year long package that I purchased; it gives me a lot of flexibility and the opportunity to really use the program to my maximum benefit. I have had very positive experiences with most of my teachers, and when I needed to add different teachers to the mix, Live Lingua was prompt to provide me with additional ones. On the whole, I have found my teachers to be kind, patient, and well prepared. Some advantages of having different teachers is that the student is exposed to different accents and different teaching styles. One improvement that might be made is that Live Lingua might require certain technology of their teachers; occasional internet failures are to be expected, but some teachers seem to have habitual problems with their internet, and this is disruptive to the learning environment. Overall I am very happy with the program; I have learned a lot, and I hope to continue to learn a lot in the next six months or so that I have with the program. I have already recommended this program to others and will do so in the future.
