Be very careful before signing up with the Light Speed K-Series MASSE system. At first, they made everything sound great and got me to sign a contract quickly. But after that, it was like a trap. They started charging me for additional services even though I never used them. When I questioned it, they claimed it was part of the agreement – but that was never clearly explained.
This feels like a dishonest way to do business. The system might look good on the surface, but the way they add hidden costs is extremely frustrating. I strongly recommend that new customers read every single line of the contract and get all details in writing. Better yet, look for a more transparent company.
Warning: Once you sign, it’s very hard to get out without paying a lot more than expected.

Our account manager is never in touch. We have asked him to replace us. Moreover, personally the employee from Account Managers Team at Internoga Expo told us that she was taking additional control of the situation. The result is nil.
Today our account is blocked, they said for non-payment, although everything comes with Sepa mandate and the last payment on April 10. How tired I am....

Four major pitfalls of the Lightspeed e-commerce platform that no e-commerce platform should have on a commercial level. Before you jump on the Lightspeed bandwagon, read about the problems with the platform below. By reading these problems, if you are a bit technical, you will know that this platform has major problems if you want to have a multilingual site and track your paid ads.
1 - The multilingual features are outdated and time-consuming. On multilingual sites, redirects will not work and your visitors will not be able to browse by switching back and forth between languages.
2- No Hreflang support, which is very important for SEO of multilingual pages. Because of this problem, you will always be outranked by your competitors in Google organic searches in your local community.
3- Facebook pixel installation issues. FB pixel is a must for any e-commerce platform that wants to track the performance of its paid ads on Instagram or Facebook. Unfortunately, Lightspeed has a bug that prevents them from recording conversion data, so you will not know how successful your ad campaign is. This is a huge problem for a professional social media marketer.
4. Major Sitemap management and robots.txt directive issues.. Because of these issues, ambiguous signals are sent to Google and you end up with a lot of errors in Google Search Console. As a result, the Google algorithm will penalise your pages.
When you open tickets for these issues, you will receive the following response: "We currently have no plans to implement these feature requests. We may do so in the future if there is sufficient demand, the capabilities of our system are clear, and the requests fit within our roadmap. Without that certainty, I cannot tell you if these changes will be added.
They are looking at these major SEO (SEO 101) and Paid Ad issues as new feature requests. Ironically, if you look at their own website, you will see that all these issues that we suffer from are not a problem for them because they have taken care of it for their own site, but for their clients' businesses.

We bought the Lighspeed K Series Pro for our Gastronomie Location. The onboarding was done by Riccardo. He is a very competent person who answered all our questions patiently. Moreover, the webinars were a good start to understand the system.
One thing I miss in the system is the option of ordering items based on the number in the menu like most people in Germany do. This is unfortunately not supported yet. I'd be very happy if Lightspeed could implement it. However at the moment there are other benefits like the direct reporting and automatic inventory control.

I have been a user of iKentoo and K-Series for about 4 years and have been very satisfied with the product, especially in the past two years since the decision was made to invest in K-Series for the German market. I have had multiple contact with the team in the UK, Germany, and Switzerland and they have always been helpful & friendly. We used to work with Gastrofix which I must say was not as reliable from a networking/reliability perspective. The main issue I have with K-Series at the moment is that the payments system still creates some errors /double card payments and they need to overhaul their customer database / customer rewards technology. But overall very happy because I know they are always working on improving the product including these issues.
For us, Lightspeed E-Com is a solution that convinces with its ease of use, functionality and low running costs. The possibilities are really comprehensive. You can also largely do without expensive external service providers. We can manage our manbefair.com business very well and the solution grows with us. We are 100% satisfied.
We have been using Lightspeed e commerce for a couple of months. Functions and usability are OK. There are some disappointing issues like no direct interface for German leading tax system DATEV and some other customer service issues.
We have been using Lightspeed as a platform for our e-shop for some time now and are very satisfied with the functionalities and the operation.
