highly frustrating experience
I have been having bloodwork done at Lifelabs in Kingston, ON for many years and had a booked appointment for the end of January. Upon arrival, they could not find my bloodwork "in the system" then I was handed a lengthy form to complete. When I asked what it was for, I was told "just fill it in". I left without my blood work being done. I have made several attempts to contact a supervisor to discuss this and it has been difficult and convoluted to even talk to someone. When I finally spoke with someone, it was " I will get back to you"-that was 5weeks ago.
I would make a recommendation that the receptionists need a comprehensive course in how to talk to and deal with the public. Overall their skills are lacking and there appears to be a lack of organization with the group.
15 minute grace time
15 minute grace time, then you become a walk in. Why make an appointment?
They NEVER run on time
They NEVER run on time, no matter whether you have an appt. Once they assign you a pod, expect to sit there for an additional delay. This has to be by design, because coincidence doesn’t explain why it happens every time.
LifeLabs Horrible Customer Service
Horrible customer service. They need training to deal with patients because they are horrible and dismissive. Try Dynacare instead because Lifelabs is absolutely terrible at dealing with patients.

I had a 12:40 appointment today on Beatty Line Fergus, Ontario. I was assigned a room promptly ( within 10 minutes )…my complaint is with the technician…unfriendly, abrupt, not speaking clearly, told me to keep my arm straight after the venapuncture, but made no attempt to lift up the arm on the chair as I struggled to pull down my sleeve and put my coat on …she had already disappeared. First time I have had a problem there, as usually excellent. Hope I have given enough information that this issue will be addressed..MB

The staff was great! Welcoming and kind.
Susy did a great job my mom couldn't believe how quick it was over didn't even hurt.
I wasn't feeling well and there was even a bed I could lay on with pillows so I rested well my mom got her blood work done.
Way to go ! Worth the voyage from Corunna.
Thank you!

Vendika did a great job at the Grimsby location today. Quick, courteous and virtually painless. I will go out of my way to come back to this clinic. Thank you!
Privacy not necessarily a factor !
I was suprised to find at the new location on 332 Wellington Rd, London , ON that i was asked to sit at a table for my bloodwork, not a cubicle ( they do have 5 of them) - the entire waiting room and those that actually did get a cubicle could see me and the processes. They could see everything. There is a complete lack of privacy for those two stations and it startled me and i felt very uncomfortable with zero privacy. They should have done better, you get more privacy at the bank!
Life Labs 6540 Fraser St
Life Labs 6540 Fraser St. Vancouver, BC When I went in for my apt, there was nobody waiting and I could hear the 2 young girls at the front test giggling about a man who had just been there who had Parkinsons. They were giggling about how slow he was. I went to sit down and wait, I didn't know what chair to pick because they were all so dirty. I chose one that someone had not put their dirty boots on top of leaving an impression on the seat. When I was called to go in the little room where they take your blood, I couldn't help but notice how dirty and unsanitary it was. I asked her if she could sanitize the seat I had to sit on as it was dirty and had a long, black hair on it. The armrest that I had to put my arm on was dirty as well she kindly sprayed and wiped clean the seat and the armrest. Who cleans this place? Isn't it supposed to be sanitized for the next customer? Gross place.

Snow storm here today so went on website to confirm they are open. Website said yes open. Tried to call Ontario number - can’t get through to a person. Walked to lab. Closed. No sign on door. Nothing. WTF. Can they not update the website. WTF.
GROSS STIGMA AND NEGLIGENCE RE MENTAL HEALTH
One of your nurses arrived at my clients house within the last couple hours today to conduct some at home bloodwork. Upon hearing that my client had Bipolar disorder, the nurse asked my clients husband if she was in danger being around someone with Bipolar. Can you even imagine how this made my client feel?
This is so unbelievable I'm in shock that you hire staff that are so undertrained that they would conduct themselves like this. That's like asking if someone with diabetes is a danger to your nurses. People with Bipolar are 10X more likely to be the VICTIMS of violent crime than the general population. The disgusting stigma behind your staff's comment is a horrible representation of your facility and it made my client uncomfortable enough to make a public post about it in my online community.
There are plenty of review sites like the Better Business Bureau, trust Pilot, and Yelp that I believe should hear about this. You have a 1 star - F rating - online. I see you started a second new yelp account because your first one has nothing but horrible reviews. You did the same thing with the Better Business Bureau. Why are you doing all of this?
Wait time of 35 minutes past my appointment time :(
Today I had an appointment with LifeLabs which was a total waste of time. I got to the location ~10 minutes early and it was packed with patients who were walk ins and patients who had appointments. There was no direction, whether signage or staff assistance as to what to do on arrival. Do appointment patients check in on arrival or wait on the LONG lineup? I was called to the counter 10 minutes past my appointment time to check-in. I then waited 35 minutes past my appointment time before I got into a cubicle. Why bother making an appointment if they can't manage the clinic properly. There were lots of staff but allowing both walk ins and appointments did NOT work and when I first arrived no one was called to the counter for a long time, not sure what happened there.
I wish there was a decent alternative to having to go to LifeLabs because they don't seem to have a clue on how to manage the clinics.
I went to the Lifelabs at 2825…
I went to the Lifelabs at 2825 Clearbrook Rd #207, Abbotsford, BC V2T 6S3. I had an online appointment for 9:40am. There was a lineup there so I stood in line expecting someone to call my name at 9:40 am. This did not happen. I waited until it was my
turn. The receptionist, I think her name Danielle, was loud and abrasive. I had heard her talk to people before me. When I got there, she talked to me the same way. I had asked her about my last name that was misspelled on the website. I was told by a different lab tech on a previous draw, to ask the receptionist to fix that. She proceeded to answer me that it was something that I did and I would need to fix it when I logged to the site next. I felt that she was talking down to me and answering my query as if I was a child. She sent me to stall 4. I waited for a half hour before a lab tech came to do the draw. She was good at it. I wish I could remember her name as she had good people skills and did a good draw. As I was waiting and being ignored for 30 minutes, I finally heard the staff calling to those who made an appointment. That receptionist was loud and crass.
I all about 72 and Scott road (Satnam…
The location at 72nd and Scott Road (Satnam Plaza) is very disorganized. The staff is rude and displays favoritism, prioritizing patients they know over others. They struggle to properly balance appointments with walk-in patients, leading to delays and frustration
Bad experience with technician
Front desk staff friendly. Technician I had not personable at all. I felt like i was on an assembly line the way she treated me. Did not let me know she was inserting the needle. It was a hard jab and very painful. Her communication re instructions for me for my home collection was very curt . She walked dragging her feet. Very unprofessional. I know they were very busy but it takes no time to be friendly
Filthy dirty
Filthy dirty. I won't be back. All the employees seem very lazy and like they hate their jobs. If they moved any slower, they'd be going backwards. Several of them standing around doing nothing except speaking with each other in their language.

Went to Paris life labs today for bloodwork for moms INR as she just discharged from hospital told they are closed for training, this was at 12:15 from the very rude technician and we were dismissed from the waiting area ,,can't book appointments online as they are full,,I guess I will take her back to emergency at bgh and let them know they refused care for her,,Paris do better
Second time
This was my second time using this service at two different locations. Both locations a clone of each other, very disorganized, zero customer service and not very clean. Will be using Dynacare next time.
An average customer service
An average customer service. I had an appointment for the analysis but I had to wait a bit longer
If I could give it zero stars I would.
If I could give it zero stars I would.
You book an appt online and when you get there you expect to be seen close to your appt time but you are met with total chaos.
They have NO idea how to deal with walk-ins and appts . This is absolutely the WORST place. Avoid it like the plague.
