Pathetic small bunch

I have always thought that Lidl fresh flowers lasted long enough and were good value. Recently there has been two price rises on a bunch of chrysanthemums . I can tolerate that but now they've reduced the number of stems in a bunch. When put in my vase they now look pathetic!

Good price...appalling quality…

Bought flowers from Lidl off and on over a couple of years. Realised the flowers weren't lasting long and decided not to buy from Lidl anymore. However last week as I went into Lidl noticed another customer had a bouquet of hyacinths and Roses in her basket...they looked v pretty and were only £4.99...so I decided to stop my self imposed embargo and bought myself this pretty bouquet. I popped the flowers still in their cellophane into a jug of water and didn't open them til the next day. When I took the cellophane off the heads of two of the hyacinths fell straight off...I put them in a little jug of water ...rather than toss them straight into the fefuse bin. I trimmed off excess leaves and put them in a large jug ( there was no flower food with boquet) Next morning two of the 5 Roses had dropped their heads and were dying. Remaining hyacinths were also looking limp. Next day all were dead or drooping...so everything went into bin. Last time I but Lidl or maybe any supermarket flowers.

Bought 2 small bunches of daffodils & about 3 opened looking very papery and the rest aren’t opening, drooping or rotting a few days later. They are Irish grown which I was delighted to see but no good if they don’t open/look nice.

Flowers just die

The last four bunches of flowers i bought in Lidl have just keeled over and died. These include lilies which do not open and just go brown and alstroemeria which just bent over and died. Won't be buying any more flowers in Lidl

Waste of money....

Bought three bunches of flowers in Lidl the other day, straight into water and then into vases with the preservative supplied added to the water. They just drooped and never opened. What are you doing to your flowers, Lidl? Will not buy again.

I purchased some roses and when I got them home two heads just drop and not because they were broken.
Two days on I have had to throw them away as they look awful and shedding petals.
I had some roses from another store not Lidl and they lasted over three weeks.
Very disappointed as overall I think Lidl is good quality.

Friendly staff

Friendly staff , positive experience.
Only downside is the Lillie's, as a previous customer said. I too have not been happy with my purchases,
So far only the Lillie's are falling short .

Lousy lilies.

I have, over a period of several weeks, bought bunches of lilies from Lidl while shopping. Unfortunately I have found them to be of poor quality and quite often broken which is a shame as they used to be an excellent buy. Perhaps they have changed supplier but if so not for the better. One bunch had just a few flowers start to open but these were semi transparent as if they had been frozen, the majority of buds didn't open. The latest bunch has had 4 flowers open whilst the rest of the buds are starting to drop off. This, I have found, is a common occurrence, I have not had a bunch where all the buds opened. I have now decided, after multiple attempts, that it would be more sensible to spend a bit more elsewhere and get what I'm paying for as I do not have this problem with lilies from other shops. Just to add, of the four stems in the bunch mentioned only four flowers opened the rest of the buds did drop.
