Good customer service. Account website is easy to navigate. However, premium costs have risen so much that they have become a financial stress on my family's finances.

Stay away from Liberty Mutual

They are great - at taking your money. But that's all they are good at.
Terrible communications, extremely slow to call back. If they call back. Adjuster decided that my new Honda did not need to be repaired to Honda specs, and I have to pay the difference. So I decided that for $200 they will lose my home, two cars, and one motorcycle policies. The whole claims experience has been awful from start to finish. Everything was on me - call the shop, call them - over and over and over... Called an agent to change all of my policies today and saved money on every policy. They are the worst I have ever dealt with.

Excellent service at Liberty Mutual

Both Ms. Davis at Liberty Mutual and the assigned adjuster provided an outstanding service. It was timely, efficient, and attentive. It was very easy for me to submit all the documents needed to begin the mitigation and renovation. Communicating with Liberty Mutual was also very easy.

Liberty Mutual will live you in ruins

My husband and I purchased a home owners policy with Liberty mutual over two years ago and have been paying monthly for the coverage they provide. Last week we found water in our finished basement and discovered a crack in our foundation. The crack was only found after the removal of all the carpeting and part of the drywall, in the area affected. Now Liberty Mutual is saying that the foundation is not covered as part of our insurance and that because water is involved the issue would fall under flood insurance. We do not have flood insurance as we are not eligible for flood insurance, we checked when we bought the house. At no point during the purchase of the plan were we told the foundation was not covered. A person should not require an advanced law degree on order to not be taken advantage of by multi-billion dollar corporations. We had an inspection of our house when we purchased it, we have done regular maintenance on the house, and even had our brick looked at, what else should we have done to keep our home habitable? We have three children under the age of five, the youngest being only two months old, and I don't know what we are supposed to do now. We thought we were protected by having insurance, but NO they only care about making money and not the lives their underhanded tactics affect.
