Stay away from LEXAR, Totally disappointed!!!!

I got one expansive SSD Lexar NM790 4TB for my Birthday and only after one year of use got broken!!! The customer care service doesn't want to replace it because I have not the proof of purchase! Other serious Companies offer Warranty based on the serial number of the device if the proof of purchase is not present!!!! I have lost a 300$ device because they don't want to make a replacement based on courtesy!!!! 5 Years should be the Warranty!!! The quality of their product is very bad!!! I will not buy anymore products of this Company with such a miserable attention for the customers, my friends suggested to buy Western Digital , they make no problem with warranty because they accept also the serial numbers of the device!!!! Shame on you LEXAR!!!

Lexar guarantee doesn't work

Purchased a Lexar sd card 124gb it lasted just over a year and became corrupted only showing 7gb. Lexar says on their website a lifetime guarantee so I contacted them. They offered to send me out another one, but conveniently my area didn't have any in the warehouse then they offered to refund me again conveniently there was a system error so they couldn't. Then they just stopped emailing back. Don't give your money to them the cards don't work as they should then they make it like they are trying to help but don't. SCAM

What a waste of money

S80 512GB jump drive. After first use it did not recognize my password any more and there appears to be no way to reset/retrieve it. Lexar website totally dysfunctional - I tried the recommended method at the Lexar "forgot-password" page. Entered my email as prompted but the next step, pressing the "Reset My Password" button, did nothing. The button is completely inert.
Also tried contacting Help at the email provided (support [at] lexar [dot] com). I did get an email response from them, and the agent was really helpful, suggesting I try reloading the software. He even checked back a couple of days later to see if it had worked, but I had already bought a competing product - which worked fine - and I haven't followed up on the suggestion.

I should have bought a SanDisk card

I should have bought a SanDisk card. Bought a 128gb micro sd card from lexar because it was cheaper, and cheap was right! Used it ONCE in my Sony crappy-cam and after it was about halfway full all of a sudden memory card error. The camera can't read or format it. Tried it in my cell phone and it doesn't even see the card. Put it in the laptop and it doesn't even see the card, even when using the command prompt listing all the disks. Now for the warranty I have to have my receipt? I bought it online and have bought so much online I couldn't even remember where I bought it at. But lexar will not replace without a receipt. Should have spent a couple more dollars and got SanDisk. Never again, Lexar Even IF you're giving them away!

Complete and utter garbage as many…

Complete and utter garbage as many others have said regarding Lexar storage media. Sadly, this extends to other Lexar products such as SSDs and rams. Lexar Hades rams have such a high failure rate we swapped them all out with ADATA, a brand known to be crap but amazingly, LESS crappy than Lexar. Avoid like the plague

Not even worth being free

This product is guaranteed to fail at some point much sooner rather than later. You will store information on the flash drive and at any given moment when least expected it will no longer allow you to access the information on it. If you're presently using it, back up the files to another location immediately and stop using it and get a brand name. Like the saying goes, you get what you pay for.

Stay away from this totally low quality…

Stay away from this totally low quality company it's so called "zendesk" or whatever useless customer support they provide as well as outrageous quality products. My micro SD card stopped working, customer support ignores my emails, the warranty was not being honoured in any way.

Absolutely horrendous company

Wait, I can't give zero stars?? Lexar is the worst of the worst. They stated they would provide me a refund 2.5 months ago. Like everyone else here has said, they lie and lie and lie. Their current lie is that sending through PayPal isn't working properly. They even had the audacity to ask me to contact PayPal to see what's wrong with my account. And even PayPal has stated Lexar is lying through their teeth. Absolutely horrendous company.

The products despite what it says on their website are not covered by any warranty. Its impossible to contact them and ask a replacement of faulty products. AVOID and look for more reliable brands

Unreliable

I've got a bunch of USB sticks, many of them pretty cheaply made, but the lexar one (which was coincidentally also the biggest one i had in my repertoire up until now) was the first one that failed on me. I bought it only 2 years or so ago, but it definitely was the last stick i bought from them.

I've just bought a Lexar 256 Data Vault…

I've just bought a Lexar 256 Data Vault Lite. All I wanted was a large capacity flash drive with security. It was just under £30 so not cheap.
However to my amazement, one can not toggle through pics. You have to open and close each one individually. Making this utterly useless. Even the most basic of drives have this facility.
The helpline told me I need to upgrade for an additional £14! So the basic unit that I bought is like a nice car but with no engine. I may as well throw it away.
Rubbish!!
Do not buy these products

We purchased several Lexar USB S75 64GB…

We purchased several Lexar USB S75 64GB JumpDrives for our business. They all failed within minutes and the encryption program would not load. We contacted Lexar tech support and they simply said that their products have no guarantee and there is nothing they can do to help. We will not purchase Lexar products again due to such poor performance and total lack of support.
