I wanted to consolidate my debt with a loan and Mr. Ronald Barber made my experience go very smoothly. Mr. Barber was very kind, helpful and professional. He was very patient with me during the loan process and I highly suggest that you go with Lending point if in need of a loan. The ease of applying, lower interest rates, knowledge of the loan agents and complete process was great from start to finish! Thank you Lending point and Mr. Barber! I appreciate you!

Was it easy to get a loan? Sure! But then the issues roll from there. They change their terms (multiple times) with nothing you can do about it. Now I have to decide between making my mortgage payment or my loan payment on time. All because they decided to stop taking credit card payments- which is one of the reasons I went with them. Be cautious of their terms.

I am a long-time customer with LendingPoint (Loan # LAI-00589089, started June 2022). My current balance is $4,358.04 at a very high interest rate of 25.49%. I want to pay off the full loan in one lump sum to save on interest.
On 7 April 2026, I emailed customer support asking for the exact payoff amount and how much interest I would save by paying the entire balance right now. I received an automatic reply within 4 hours.
I followed up the same day with more details, but it has now been more than 2 full days and I have received zero response from any human at LendingPoint.
This is highly unprofessional and frustrating. When a customer is ready to pay off their entire loan early and give the company their money immediately, the least they expect is a timely payoff quote. Instead, my emails are being ignored while I continue to be charged high interest every day.
I have already checked the customer portal, but I still need an official payoff statement. The lack of basic communication shows very poor service quality.
LendingPoint needs to seriously improve their email support. Ignoring customers who want to close their account is unacceptable.
Because of this experience, I would not recommend LendingPoint to anyone.

Don't do it they let u borrow the money but u have to pay $300 up front for insurance heck if I had that kind of money wouldn't need to borrow then they ask for my user name an password for my bank acct don't ever give that out what a scam

I took a 5k loan February 2023 for medical reasons. Today March 2026 my buy out is $4900.17. I recommend you read your contract very carefully. I highly recommend Care Credit.

He is a scam artist . He gave me a check for $10k but it was a fake check.
I showed him proof ,after that he got lost.
I gave my bank statement.
Be careful warning
There is another lady from the same company she also a fake too.

Having received an email letting me know I could refinance, I followed the link, refinancing online. Within minutes I received a telephone call from Ronald, who was not only professional, bur friendly letting me know the updated documentation needed. The following day Ronald followed up both via email and verbally. Since 221 when I obtained my first loan Lending Point has been professional and respectful; a great place to finance.
