Stayed at the Preston International Legacy Hotel which we stay everytime we visit our sons. Its supposed to be a non smoking hotel yet when we walked into our room in was stinking of cigarette smoke. Reported it to reception but they had no other room to give us. Went to have a bath later that night and we couldnt empty the bath. The plug was stuck solid and the dial on the bath the release the plug was just spinning round. Again reported to reception and someone came and forced tge plug out but then we couldnt have a bath !!. Not happy at all and not even any form of refund offered

Stayed at the Rose and Crown Salisbury. Very good service and friendly stay. Excellent location

Golf was excellent, rooms very modern.
There was large group of golfers staying over and the management put us in a side room but then didn’t staff us correctly/ forgot about us. The bar staff struggled with basic things like taking orders and bringing us drinks, having us wait 30-45mins. At one point they had the drinks waiting outside our room for 10mins. Not water on tables.
Bar manager was Not a bar manager and was unorganised.

Steph was the only girl who went above and beyond, always smiling. The boys on the second night were great.
