I am trying to reset my password and following the requirement for password setting, however once i click on "Modify your password", I get an error message. Tried this 1000 times now. I have also been trying to reach out to the leetchi support team for the last week (via email because their phone support is exhausted) and getting no answer! I found the reviews here and shocked to see that other people have the exact same experience. The funniest thing is Leetchi responding with "feel free to share your feedback on help@" - what's the point if you don't read your emails? So I am unable to log into my account now and retrieve the money pot (of €240) that I have created, which we need to spend soon for my colleague's farewell party.

I have sent at least 5 follow up queries for 2 weeks now and got zero response.
I am not sure if I set up my pot correctly and it is only letting me continue to contribute but can't get the money out and am owed over 350 euro.

Leetchi are thieves - they will steal your money, take ages to give it to you after pleading with them. If this is supposed to be an efficient platform, exactly the opposite. Still waiting for my birthday money to come through and looks like it will be more a birthday collect for Leetchi. JUST AN UPDATE ON WHERE I AM WITH LEETCHI AND MY BIRTHDAY MONEY. I am trying to get 340€ on my bank account collected for a presnt for a colleague since May 7.

First attempt was rejected pretending they needed someone else ID while my account had been verified and the bank account is in my name.

Second transfer pensing since May 18, coming with various excuses (they have been hacked, problem due to COVID19...) and not a single answer to my email sent on May 13.

I would deeply recommend to avoid using their services as you won’t be aure to get your money.

I created a Moneypot to be able to provide PPE or Proper Protective Equipment to my fellow nurses in the Philippines as well as some masks coz they are lacking a lot (just like everywhere else) while facing Coronavirus firsthand in the hospitals. My country is not as rich as other country that is why Asking for donations from friends that are more fortunate here in France, is the only way for me to be able to buy them those Protective Materials they need. But now since Leetchi is blocking the said money pot, and no update nor the contact no. is not available, all the beneficiaries are blocked too! Imagine they are in danger in front of the sick, contaminated people with no protection while on duty! And the money that is intended to be buy those materials are hanging too! I can understand that it's a hard time for everybody, but at least give some updates! Communicate to your clients on what is really going on! It's already a challenging time for us because of the coronavirus, don't add more worries!

Crowdfunding for a hospital in the refugee camp in Moria.
It tooks months until the collected money was transferred to the recipient. Leetchi demanded for a lot of documents, they did not mentioned before. It was a real hassel and unworthy.
Never again! Our advise: Avoid this specific platform

Have been waiting one month already for my money.

Privately, I started a money-pot to help some families in need in my home-country El Salvador. I live in Switzerland and I've used Leetchie other times to fund-raise money for gifts or similar things. This was ok.

However, this time, I've raised 1700 Euro and Leetchie is not giving it back to me! I've already tried with three different bank account and tried to reach them by mail. I'm not receiving proper answers and I'm just a step away to go to the police because this is fraudulent behaviour.
I WANT ANSWERS NOW WHY I AM NOT RECEIVING MY MONEY.

I've paid you your fee to use your platform, so at least give me answers.

DON'T USE LEETCHIE and pass the voice that this is not a good platform.

It was easy to setup the crowdfunding!
but we need some information.
10 days already left. everyday we tryed to call and mailed sometimes.
but there is no support.
the phone line in french and german are both since 10 days not working.

i hope they can solve our problem.
but we are really waiting for a call!!!!!!!

WAITING TOO LONG FOR MONEY

After reading all these reviews, I would like to stress the same message: DO NOT USE LEETCHI.

I wish I had been more circumspect in my decision to use them. NON existent customer service, retention of a measly £67 that my colleagues and I collected. IT IS NOT YOIR MONEY- RETURN IT.

I put a pot of £600 together for a hen do for my best friend, and we have had to cancel the hen do unfortunately because of Coronavirus. I tried to get the money out of the pot to send back to people and not only have I been charged £24 for no reason at all (not clear that Leetchi would steal money from us) but they are now not sending the money back to me to refund everyone! It's been 3 days and I haven't heard anything, the money has disappeared from the pot on the Leetchi website but there is no sign on the money, no number to call and no one is replying to emails. Looking at the other comments on here it looks like it can take them weeks to send money back to people. I would like to know where the money is during this time? There is something very dodgy about this!

I can't afford to pay the £600 back to people out of my own money and I'm appalled that Leetchi can just steal that much money off people and then go quiet!

I've opened a case with the Financial Conduct Authority.

We have created an account and raised 210 euro for our association. We tried to transfer the money for over two weeks and nothing happened, emails are not answered and now it says our account is locked. They do jot answer their phone. This is the worst crowdfunding company.
Really bad experience we used Gofundme in the past and it was much easier and better customer care.

We could not transfer the money collected to an account because they keep on asking documents from participants...we delivered the documentation ( all ) from the account holder, the creator of the account in Leetchi and much more...but they kept on asking also the documentation of a random participant like if they are here only to collect or steel documentation. Only because we refused to give documentation from a third person, they declined to transfer the money.
WORST CUSTOMER SERViCE replying every 3 days if you are lucky, while they play with your money.

Nous n'avons pas pu transférer l'argent collecté sur un compte car ils continuent de demander des documents aux participants ... nous avons livré la documentation (toute) du titulaire du compte, du créateur du compte à Leetchi et bien plus encore ... mais ils ont continué demander également la documentation d'un participant au hasard comme s'il n'était là que pour collecter. Ce n'est que parce que nous avons refusé de fournir des documents d'une troisième personne qu'ils ont refusé de transférer l'argent.
PIRE SERVICE CLIENT répond tous les 3 jours si vous avez de la chance, alors qu'ils jouent avec votre argent.

I just can't believe it! We are in the Democratic Republic of Congo and have started a fundraising campaign to support the orphans in Beni with food, water, medical care and school fees. When 8 claimed for the payment i got a message about it is refused. Who can explain what is going here

It`s been almost 2 weeks now since I have asked for the money to be transferred but nothing happened. Lots of emails , messages by Instagram and still nobody is able to provide support. What kind of company is this who plays with the good will of people ? No phone number to call, my friend is still waiting for the present and NOTHING HAPPENS!

C'est aberrant, je trouve.
Ils ont même le culot de demander les copies des cartes d'identité des bénéficiaires de la cagnottes (des blessés eborgnés, par un régime dictatorial) ainsi que les factures de leurs soins (qui n'existent pas, puisque ils attendent l'argent, justement).
C'est la 1ère et la dernière fois que je fais une cagnottes sur Leetchi.

Leetchi persists in not transferring the money by asking for the same documents over and over again.
It's absurd, I think.
They even have the nerve to ask for copies of the identity cards of the beneficiaries of the fund raising (the wounded who were injured by a dictatorial regime) as well as the bills for their medical care (which do not exist, since they are waiting for the money).
This is the first and last time I'm making a fund raising on Leetchi.

MASSIVE FRAUD.
We organised a pot on Leetchi.com for a friend's birthday. Raised £800+ but Leetchi did not transferred us the money raised despite us providing all document requested. (Bank details, ID, etc)

Leetchi customer service takes days to answer messages and denies all responsibility. Money is lost.

My experience with Leetchi has been terrible so far. My friend recommended it initially, but I would not recommend it to anyone. I have tried to transfer the money 3 times so far without succeeding, and without understanding why. No one ever answers the phone, I only get automated replies to my emails without justifying why the transfer has been denied. They make it very easy to sign up without explaining the complications of taking your money out. It truly feels like a SCAM!
