As in the other cases commented on below, we were collecting some money to buy one of our colleagues a farewell present. When we tried to transfer the money to my account, the bank transfer was rejected with no apparent reason. Of course, we have not received any reply when trying to contact them through email. We’ve had to advance the money ourselves to get the gifts in time. What a nightmare of a platform… it certainly goes to show that it is doing exactly the opposite of what it is trying to facilitate

I WISH I HAD READ ALL THESE REVIEWS I WOULD HAVE NEVER USED THIS PLATFORM.
If only I could NOT add a star I WOULD! SO STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLATFORM! What a SCAM! What a TIME WASTER! I raised funds with family and friends for a very small organisation which helps young orphans in Africa and we managed to collect 519€ to provide them with pads for a good year or so but unfortunately these SCAMMERS have been delaying things and are still trying to find reasons not to pay the money. What a shame!
If only I knew, I would have used « Go fund me » as a friend of mine did. And luckily for her she got the funds and blessed another orphanage.... meanwhile I am still waiting... and it’s been already 2months! But I will definitely used legal help to sort this out!

For all who live outside of France like myself who is based in the UK please take my advice and find a similar company based in your country, nearly a month since I was due the money had to pay from my own finances to not let others down while I try and obtain the funds I’m owed and they do everything they can to delay and hold back the money. Honestly disgusted with their service, support and company values wish I could rate them -5*

Wanted to withdraw from my money pot,it said i should upload my id a thousand times, and when i finally did, it said my country in Africa is not supported therefore my id is invallid

Requested a bank transfer and they refused it (without notifying me through email or anything) and I did not even get a refund in my money pot. Result? Losing huge amounts of money for no reason at all. Do not use this fund-raising platform. Ever. It’s a scam

Requested a bank transfer and received an email:
"We regret to inform you that your bank transfer request has been refused." And NOTHING on why and what I should do now. Looks like a scam :(((

Using Leetchi the worst thing you can do if you have an emergency and you are looking to collect money to help someone, this is the worst platform to do so; overall customer experience is negative, it feels like they go around and around hoping that you just get tired and leave the money there... MAKE SURE you find another place to host your money pot.

Have been trying for over a week to upload ID and keep getting the same message that its not possible due to "a technical reason". Tried calling the phone number to be told its no longer in use. Have emailed customer services to receive an automated email saying they are "under resourced" and will come back to me at some point? Really not very satisfactory and dreadful customer service.

I created pot for my daughter, but can't open the link to start the deposits, they say that pot is not available, and neither can delete the pot. Who will take money?? Because I can do nothing with this!

After 6 months I still try to find out if Leetchi is a well set fraud. Colleagues raised money as a gift. After 6 months and at least 5 different persons trying to transfer the money to the bank account, the money are still on Leetchi. The verification can not be completed as every time we upload a document, the website redirects to nowhere. We will address an accountant and a lawyer if needed. A totally waste of time and money.

I have opened an online crowdfunding site at this site.by the recommendation of one of my friend.
so,i had some Euros in my money pot so when i was requesting for bank transfer i got to know that i can only withdraw my money in the account which is in (SEPA) countries.so i have requested on leetchi.com to transfer my money to an account of my friend who lives in switzerland .By mistake I have also changed the beneficiary name from my name to my friend's name
.whose account I am using to withdraw my money.I have also changed my campaign name by adding my friends name as I thought it will be more helpful for withdrawal.

i have done these changes because of lack of information and knowledge.because i have done this first time in my life.
during the request for money transfer to bank i have used the all Bank details of my Swiss friend.
for making sure that every details i fill should be correct i have asked there support team too and i have got it from one of there team .but i didnt read one email in which i was informed to not changing beneficiary name and without reading that mail i have changed it .i accept my mistake ,may be this is the reason of unsuccessful transaction.but i don't know .
I think Switzerland comes in (SEPA) country as I read the details.
below is the email which i have got from there support for the transaction details.it says the reason of unsuccessful transaction is
" Reason being is that, unfortunately, your bank refused the transfer". But my friend call to bankand the bank said they did not had any money tranfer request.please kindly explain me the reason so i can help you to provide all the details which you require for clarity.i trust my friend that when she receive my money in her account she will send it to me .so please ask anything if want to me or my friend.

My friend called her bank and the bank said they don't had any requests for money pot transfer.so please kindly help me to have solution for transferring my money to my friend's account.

PLease feel free to ask any details to me or my friend for the solution of this transfer issue.Its the money collected by my friends who want to help me in this pandemic time in India as u know the bad situation in India.
I still have faith that I will have positive response.
I am updating my review the money transfer 2nd time cancelled too.

This platform requires excess information, I think this is a breach in GDPR. The money transfer process from the leetchi fund to the bank account is long and frustrating. I had to provide many documents and translate it to english with certified translators, so I incurred additional expenses. Do not reccommend even to my enemy.

Best service to help needy persons in the whole world. Keep it up.

Although I uploaded my documents two weeks ago they still could not validate them. I don't know what I will do with the pots I created. There is nothing that shows me the account validation progress whatsoever. It keeps asking me the documents, although I already sent them.

Absolute scam of a website. Should have trusted these reviews.

Trying to send myself back €200 I have added in a money pot that I have immediately closed and I have been told that the transfer was "cancelled" - by who? What does this mean?

Now I have no money in the bank, nor in the pot. How do I recoup my money? Only way to get an answer seems to be through a bad review.

I created a money pot to buy medical stuff.
Few hours later my friends told me that Leetchi are not honest you will get problems to transfer your money.
So to test it, i contributed twice in the pot (10€+20€) and i asked leetchi to transfer the money to my bank account.
And the surprise !
Your bank transfer request of €28.80 has been canceled.
Please check all the details and re-do, or choose a different way to spend your money pot.

Now the pot is empty with 0€, i can't ask again for a bank transfer and no response from customer service.

Opened a pot for my leaving colleague, my account didn’t get verified. Uploaded my id but remains a red dot.. no update at all about identify verification. My colleague is leaving tmr and I have to pay upfront myself to get the present. Terrible platform and service.

*ID verified after leaving this feedback however still couldnt get the bank transfer even though it says process within two days. Reading all these negative comment below really made me upset and worried like money is gone.

I have spent more than a week trying to upload my document to your platform (which I´ve tried with at least 3 different types) however, you always send me the same email:
"We regret to inform you that the identity document, submitted for the account associated with xxxxxxx email address, has been rejected for the following reason:

Sorry, we are unable to process your document due to a technical issue. Please try again later on"

I´m tired to try to contact you through email, telephone, FB and I´ve no answer yet. I have to transfer the money collected before the end of this week and you still apparently ignoring my request.

Terrible, they seem to have stolen the money. I keep trying to transfer the money from Leetchi to my bank account but they will not transfer the money. My Leetchi account is verified with my identification documents but I keep receiving an automated email from them in French saying the transfer has been declined because one of the contributors identity documents is not verified. The phone number listed as their customer support is no longer valid when dialed and they are not answering my emails.

I've used Leetchi to collect money for my colleague's birthday gift.
On Monday 22, I got an email saying that the transfer was rejected. The customer service number mentioned on the same email doesn't work.(which is already a red flag). I have submitted all the docs via email: bank letter, ids, passport, but as of 7th of April - the transfer has not been completed. The customer service team seems to reply using some email templates, asking to provide documents that have already been shared with them. I wish I had seen this page before, I would have gone with the paypall instead. A very poor experience. I have asked to give me a call, so hopefully will be able to get some clarity.
