Great experience overall. There were a few delays that made me worry the purchase might not go through, but the team pulled through in the end. They were accommodating and worked closely with my devel... See more

Came across as very rude. Made the process that should have been a happy one very stressful and anxious and I almost pulled out as the buyer.

Great price and speedy process, my sale and purchase went through without a hitch. Can definitely recommend, really easy to deal with and good online portal to monitor progress.

What a easy and seamless process this was. 12 weeks from start to finish and kept informed all through the process. Elliot, was extremely helpful from start to finish and very prompt to reply back to all correspondence. Highly satisfied with LPL. Will definitely ruse them again and also recommend them to anybody looking to sell their house

From putting the offer in middle of May, I was exchanged by the end of July and completed the first week of August. Amazing service and special thanks to Irene Moran who was my case handler. I was a first time buyer and Irene made it so easy and stress free. Nothing but 5 stars for this service and I would totally recommend LPL.

We had an excellent experience with the throughout the sale and purchase of our property.
A special thank you to Sima, who was incredibly diligent, patient, and professional from start to finish. She took the time to explain every step clearly, kept us informed throughout the process, and made what could have been a stressful experience feel straightforward and well managed. Her attention to detail and responsiveness were outstanding. We highly recommend the firm and would not hesitate to use their services again.

I was assigned Elliott for my sale and purchase and I was extremely happy with his efforts , he went above and beyond in very difficult circumstances as we were dealing with a solicitor in the chain who was terrible in terms of his responses and he failed to make any progress during the process and simply left everything to the day before completion , despite this Elliott was calm and focused and guided me like a true professional

I am extremely disappointed with my experience dealing with this firm.
Following the sale of my property on 30th April 2026, a £500 cleaning deposit was retained pending confirmation from the buyer's side. I was repeatedly informed that payment could not be released because instructions were awaited. After considerable delay and repeated chasing, confirmation was eventually obtained and my own solicitors acknowledged that the funds could be released.
Despite this, the return of my money was subjected to further delays and a succession of explanations, requiring me to spend a significant amount of time pursuing funds that should have been returned promptly once authorisation had been received.
As a client, I expected proactive communication, transparency, and efficient handling of client funds. Instead, I experienced poor communication, unnecessary delays, and had to escalate the matter through the firm's complaints process before meaningful action was taken.
While others may have had different experiences, based on my own experience I would be reluctant to use this firm again and would encourage prospective clients to carefully consider whether the level of service meets their expectations

Once we had a solicitor that was not leaving the company ,regular contact was made

I am so so glad our experience with these solicitors is over. It took a long time to get onboarded and there was no communication (should have known then it would be bad!). Our mortgage advisor chased and eventually got us on the app. Once we were allocated a conveyancer I thought things would improve but no. She was rude when I finally managed to speak to her on the phone, slow and no communication skills. Had to put in a complaint and request for a change of case handler but unfortunately too far into the process for that to change. Our estate agents said not once did she reply to an email or answer a phone call throughout the process. There was no chain as the house was empty and it still took 2.5 months after our mortgage offer was received. All letters were sent late (including one which mentioned a cooling off period that was long gone!). If searches had been done proactively then we wouldn't have been so delayed. Mentioned several times I wouldn't need to keep chasing if she just provided some communication about where we are in the process. I appreciate there is probably a high workload but when you pay for the service more than one email a month is not too much to expect. Would never recommend or use again.

Easy to use. Quick to answer the phone if I had any other enquiries. Kept me updated through the app and I recieved emails from the app to see what had been completed.

Everything was fantastic, the only improvement I would say would be about communication. The whole process took around 4 months start to finish and it would have been nice just to receive an email to just tell us not to worry that they are on top of everything instead of having to use the tracker all of the time which sometimes did not get updated to where we was actually at

It was slick and professional. There was no need for us to chase up and the information that we needed to provide was easy to load up and clear as to what was needed.

Lack of communication, would send legal documents to sign with no follow up calls. No priority when things went wrong, emailed in a complaint to have a very basic management email back. Would not recommend or use again

I don't usually leave reviews, but after everything we've been through, I felt I had to.
Our purchase has finally completed, and the biggest feeling is relief—not because we've bought the house, but because we'll never have to deal with LPL Solicitors again.
Together with my partner, I was buying her late dad's house. We already lived there, there was no chain, and it should have been one of the most straightforward purchases imaginable. Instead, it dragged on for well over a year.
What people don't always realise is just how expensive delays like this can be. We lost an entire mortgage offer because the purchase took so long, then spent months worrying about losing the second one as well. We came within weeks of that happening. Every day that passed without progress meant more uncertainty, more paperwork, more phone calls and the constant fear that we'd be back to square one. It wasn't just stressful—it ended up costing us more and more money through absolutely no fault of our own.
The whole thing completely took over our lives. Instead of being able to move on after such a difficult time for the family, every conversation seemed to revolve around chasing LPL, worrying about deadlines and wondering if we'd actually complete before another mortgage deadline came and went.
What I found hardest was feeling completely powerless. You put your trust in professionals because they're supposed to take the pressure off you. Instead, it felt like everyone else was trying to do their job. Even our mortgage adviser was chasing LPL because they could see how serious the situation had become.
By the end, my partner and her older sister had both made formal complaints because we genuinely didn't know what else to do. Then, when honest reviews were left about our experience, LPL tried to have them removed rather than reflecting on why multiple members of the same family had all reached the same conclusion.
Thankfully it's over now, but if someone asked me whether I'd ever use LPL Solicitors again, the answer would be an immediate no. Buying a home is stressful enough without having to wonder whether your solicitor is actually progressing your purchase. Based on what we went through, I'd strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
