The worst experience with a title…
The worst experience with a title company. Didn't even meet with the escrow person because she works at home. We met a contractor notary instead who was not able to address any issues. We had to call the escrow person at home to get help. It was not professional at all. The notary was not friendly nor was she helpful other than to show us where to sign. She was condescending at times. She made comments about kicking one of the worker's dog since that worker had dropped the ball on getting us documents ahead of time. She said she was not a dog person. What kind of person says this in a professional setting with strangers?
Told each appointment is only 30 minutes long, which is not acceptable to read all the documents to be signed. This place is 100% unprofessional yet they charge outrageous fees (we had no choice to use them as the seller). The settlement document was not dated correctly for the close date and thus we have to get another on the close date to e-sign.
Overall, this place is terrible. Avoid if you are a buyer selecting an escrow company!
