Nice products - bad return policies
Overall nice products, fast delivery, and service from LavprisEL.
However, we have/had a bad experience dealing with their support staff regarding a product that did not live up to expectations. We purchased three small lamps where one had black marks on the inside that could not be removed.
We get in contact with their support staff and explain them the situation and include pictures. We are then told that we have to break the lamp to receive a new one. It should be said that we are absolutely okay with returning the defective lamp, but it seems ridiculous to break the lamp to create fake "evidence" of a much worse product and I think it is very inappropriate to strongarm customers to deceive suppliers by sending pictures that do not represent the factual situation.
Documenting the defective lamp, however small you may think the issue to be, should be enough to make the return. And if it is because you do not want the hassle of dealing with returns, then just send a new product and tell the customer to do 'whatever' with the old defective one.

The manufacturer of this product has decided that they do not want there to be a 2nd hand products on the market. This means that any item that does not meet the manufacturer's standards for quality must be removed from the market and destroyed.
We are very sorry for the inconvenience and understand if this can be frustrating for you as a customer. But it is important to us to ensure that all products live up to the high standards that our customers expect from us. In order to comply with the manufacturer's guidelines, we have requested this.
In order to document the destruction, we therefore ask you for a picture of the destroyed item.
