I want to return the product and noone is responding!

This company is like a scammer, reading these reviews, i have been trying to return my product and they are not sending me a return shipment tag for 7 days. Noone answers the phone, their whatsapp is not working, they answer my very clear request with questions of what do i need. I dont know what else should i be saying beyond i want to return the product. Customer service is not responsive and they are a disaster. I was fooled by the ads, but when i read here i experienced it first hand how bad they are. Do not buy this product no matter what the performance is there is no customer service.

Don't waste your money!!!!

I purchased a Laurastar Lift Xtra in Germany, expecting a premium product and reliable customer service. Unfortunately, the iron stopped working completely after only 2 years.

I contacted Laurastar multiple times. After weeks of emails, I received no real solution—no repair, no replacement, and not even a goodwill discount.

When I tried to follow up and ask for help publicly, I was blocked instead of being assisted.

This leaves me with a completely unusable product despite paying a high price. For a brand that promotes quality and customer care, this experience is extremely disappointing.

I hope Laurastar will reconsider and offer a fair solution.

Had my uron since before xmas missing the actual cover for the board
Arrived in beginning of Jan.

Broken 2 weeks ago no pressure and leaking boiking water. Received vack from atlas repairs today with new issue. Going back for 2nd repair

I wish i cpuld attach the video.

Save your money dont bither the service is shockingly poor as is the product.

I wish I had read the reviews

I wish I had read the reviews. I spent >£400 on a Lift Xtra 3-in-1 steamer. 4 years on, having maintained the iron annually, always changing filters, it has now broken. I spoke to Laurastar and they want £200 to repair it. It is a shame.

I hate to do this but 1 star is all…

I hate to do this but 1 star is all this is getting. I bought the smart u. Twice. And both times it broke within a month. Just wouldn’t turn on. I can’t speak to their customer service as I purchased it through a luxury retailer who were amazing. But the product was awful. Two broken in the same way?! Not really acceptable but it seems to be a common issue.

Had been a loyal customer for years - not no more

Had been a loyal customer for years. Spent 2k on their new iron out in Dubai. Broke in 3 months and doesn’t turn on. 2 months it’s been in the service center and still being told different stories.
Tried to complain but unless you speak French or Deutsch you have no chance.
Emailed, WhatsApp, online website form, online chat all useless.

Honestly go to another brand. It’s mad that I’m willing to waste the money than try to deal with this appalling company. Such a shame for what was a good brand.

After just two weeks my item wouldn't…

After just two weeks my item wouldn't power on! i contacted customer services and they advised someone would be in touch within 24 hrs this took two weeks to receive a call back from them. to be told that they would send a box and collect it in the 6th of January and carry out the repair then. you think if you spent £1500 on an iron and it broke after two weeks it would be replaced not fixed also that will be at least 6 weeks to resolve it. wouldn't recommend this brand at all ! quick to take payment customer service non existent.
They have contact numbers but don't answer the phone send whatsup and they say they are open from 8 - 5 but only respond at strange times.

I've owned laura Star Ironing systems…

I've owned laura Star Ironing systems for the past 20 years . I recently purchased a SPure to replace a nont fan model when it's leg support broke . I love the fan which makes ironing much easier . The website is a bit clunky and I had difficulty entering my address in uK . Had to contact customer service for assistance . Then I think there was a problem with payment but we eventually got there . My only criticism is that it squirts out hot water rather than steam sometimes- I'm still learning how to avoid this .

My Ironing system is 7 years old and the company promise to service the machine up to 10 years . I contacted Laurastar to arrange the service. I was fustrated that I had to chase this up a few times .Once I paid LS for the service things got quickly sorted out . Atlas Refurbishment and repairs contacted me arranging for courier to collect and service machine. Wow they were amazing , my tired machine arrived back within 10 days, gleaming and working like new . The service was not inexpensive but fantastic, the staff helpful and communication great all the way.

I'm done with Laurastar due to misrepresentation of product and poor customer service

I unfortunately bought into the "this is the best iron ever" theory but it's one of my biggest regrets. The raised soleplate is a HUGE problem. The first thing you need to do before using it is throw out everything you thought you knew about pressing. If you use it as you've used every other in the past, you will INCREASE your wrinkles, not eliminate them. And once it presses in a new wrinkle, it's even harder to remove. The learning curve is huge and feels very unnatural. The sole plate catches on pocket edges and hems and any bulky seams. To add insult to injury, when I voiced my concerns to customer support, I was told I needed to sell mine and buy one of their other models! I explained that I could never in good conscience sell this iron so that someone else could have problems! I had bought 2 and one wasn't even out of the box and they would not exchange it with another model. All I can say is, beware of Laurastar! Check out customer complaints and you'll see that this is a company that does not care about customer satisfaction at all.

Worst product / no customer support

Worst product, broken after 3years, the customer support is not existent, first the CRM system had technical problems, then the payment link for the pickup (249€ to repair it) and now the pickup system is broken, since 4 weeks we are waiting for a pickup. Several different customer agents, zero proactivity, always delays. We know need to buy a second iron as this turned out to be probably the worst Swiss product in the market.

Terrible customer service.


I placed two orders on the Laurastar website and purchased three items in total.
They mixed up my orders. Instead of the Smart D ironing system, they sent me an ironing board.
I thought, okay, mistakes happen, I’ll write them an email. I sent one – no reply. A second one – still silence. I wrote to them on WhatsApp – no answer. I called customer support – no response.
Then, after three days, a consultant finally replied and said: “Sorry, we sent you the wrong item,” but then she mentioned a completely different product that I didn’t even order!
I explained everything to her again, step by step, and now it’s been four more days with no response.
I can’t initiate a return.
I can’t get in touch with customer service.
I can’t get my money back.
The board they sent costs €119, but the item I actually ordered is worth €990.
There’s no reason left to trust them anymore.
HOW CAN A GLOBAL COMPANY OPERATE WITH SUCH HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SUPPORT?
I will never turn to them again.
REFUND MY MONEY AND RESPOND TO MY EMAILS ALREADY

Great company, Appalling support

Great company, Appalling support.
Probably the best in their product range. Unbeatable. I have had their top lift extra in my dubai and london homes. But Laurastar have a massive attitude problem. Condensending customer attitude and they are not doing anything soon about it. Read the reviews on trustpilot, you will be shocked. Thinks the customer is always wrong. And they dont even have a base in the uk! They think their choice of couriers are as good as laurastar themselves and I have had to spend several hours, 15 phonecalls to UK and Switzerland and over 12 emails over the wrong delivery address on just one order. Ridiculous. If the product works, good for you. If you ever have to deal with such a company's customer services - God help you.

No apology. Customer is always wrong and so what if you have problem! Its your fault. Harrods and selfridge customers pay a premium so there are no complaining customers. Don't complain to Laurastar. They can do no wrong. Just suffer!

As soon as I posted this review, got one reply back to one of my many emails to them. They say they finally got the delivery address communicated correctly to the courier. Will see when the product arrives. However, on the dpd app, which updated the correct delivery address, it still mentions a completely wrong and different neighbours address. This is the glitch in the dpd software which I have complained about as I have had parcels go missing due ro this glitch in their system

They believe their system is 100% accurate and its all a figurement of my imagination!

The summary of Reviews on laurastar here tells me their products have;
-frequent faults reported (auto shut-off, steam issues)

-Poor customer service experiences noted in many reviews

-High price but doesn’t always outperform competitors

-Proprietary ironing board needed for best results

-Repairs are slow, and spare parts can be expensive

And combine those with what appears shody and uncaring customer service one wonders why the company still exists

Terrible aftersales support

Terrible aftersales support. They provide a WhatsApp number - I messaged that five days ago, no reply.

The website form goes to an error page.

Finally got through to someone on the phone who advised that their UK repair centre would be in touch to arrange a collection for repair. Did I hear from them. No.

Tried calling again and after 10 minutes on hold the call just disconnected.

So disappointing

I have had my LauraStar Iron for quite…

I have had my LauraStar Iron for quite few years now. I absolutely love the iron and it is the best of the best. There is no problems what so ever with Customer service they are great and work in proper Swiss manner. I had to send my steam generator the repair few times but it was done swiftly and with no extra expense. the communication form main office and subcontractors were great the service was great too.
yes I agree the machines do need constant servicing and care but they do iron perfectly.
