The delivery was completed within a reasonable timeframe, and the laptop screen arrived securely packaged. The screen itself is in excellent condition with no dead pixels and is performing well. While longevity is the true test, I am satisfied with the initial quality. If the screen holds up over time, I would certainly recommend this business.

Just wanted to write a honest review. Smashed my laptop screen by accident on Saturday, placed an order Sunday and had Screen today (Tuesday) came well packaged, though changing it wasn't easy job as i didn't know how much of double sided tape i will need and by looking online how to replace screen on same model but different version i was hoping that screen will come with a screw in bracket (but mine was taped to actual back of the screen with more double sided tape). After installing it was abit worried as once powered laptop screen was black for a good couple mins and laptop was going on and off, but it was just adapting to new screen. Other than that great experience! Would order again and reccomend to everyone!

I purchased a High Gamma LCD screen from laptop-lcd-screen.co.uk in December 2025, to replace the TN panel in my laptop, which had poor viewing angles. I understood that replacing the screen would void my warranty, but the TN panel’s limitations made the laptop almost unusable, so I decided to proceed with the replacement based on available instructions.

The screen arrived quickly, as I had opted for next-day delivery. However, when I tried to install it, I found it didn’t fit my laptop properly — the screen wouldn’t power on. The PCB on the screen was 280mm, but it should have been 260mm for compatibility with my laptop. Unfortunately, the product description didn’t include this critical size detail or advise that I should verify the size before purchasing.

I reached out to customer service, who were responsive and arranged an RMA. However, the replacement screen they sent me was a standard IPS panel, not the High Gamma LCD I had originally ordered. I was later told that they don’t stock the High Gamma LCD for my laptop. If I had known this upfront, I may have looked elsewhere or reconsidered voiding my laptop warranty.

Additionally, after installation, I noticed that the laptop screen bezel no longer sits flush with the replacement LCD, which was disappointing.

I eventually received a refund for the price difference between the High Gamma and standard IPS panels, and the return postage was also refunded. However, I had to negotiate the refund, and no additional compensation was offered. While the customer service was helpful, the overall experience was frustrating, especially given that I had voided my warranty in anticipation of upgrading to a High Gamma LCD, only to receive a standard IPS panel.

My advice to others purchasing a laptop or screen replacement is to double-check the manufacturer’s specifications for the exact LCD panel type. Some IT businesses may upgrade individual components before selling a laptop, but the screen is rarely upgraded unless clearly stated.

If you’re replacing your laptop screen, ensure the replacement panel’s PCB size matches your laptop’s specifications to avoid compatibility issues like I experienced.
