I never got a bill from Lands End and yet was given a poor credit rating and received several calls every day from Comenity Bank (marked as spam) for an $87 late payment. I just found out that LE had... See more

Lands End water shoes
I was gifted a pair of Lands End water shoes in 2024. I used them for the first time on my annual canoe trip on the Shennandoah River. After a few times in and out of the canoe, the soles of the shoes began to separate from the shoes itself. By the end of the day, on sole was completely off the shoe and the other was barely attached. I sent my information and pictures to try to figure out the best way to handle this. After getting no response, I tried to call to see if they would replace the shoes. The lady on the phone wouldn't give me any type of replacement or credit without proof of purchase. I didn't want to bother my friend that gifted me the shoes. I was highly upset that they didn't have any other way to exchange the shoes. I felt that their customer service was poor and the quality of the shoes was less than poor. My canoe trip is coming up soon and needless to say I will not be purchasing a pair of Lands End shoes for the trip.
Avoid! - You will not get your order
Placed an order for an item that showed as being in stock. After 7 days from ordering, contacted them to ask for an update on the despatch, only to be fobbed off and told "you'll get an email when it's been sent". Gave it another several days, still nothing. Chased again and told it had been shipped, but the track order bit on the website showed it actually hadn't. Everytime I emailed, they took 2 days to reply.
In the end had to involve Paypal as obviously I was not going to get the order and even after asking Lands End to cancel my order they still did nothing.
Never AgainMerchandise quality is not what it used…
Merchandise quality is not what it used to be and returning a poorly fitting item for a refund is nearly impossible. They only offer a Lands End credit unless you call. What a run around.

I ordered men's pants on April 7. They were put on back order. I called after six weeks to inquire about the order and was informed the projected delivery was September. I cancelled the order. Want to improve? Customer experience is poor. Six months to deliver pants is mind boggling.

I ordered a school uniform for my daughter one evening and realized I ordered the wrong size. Called customer service the following morning and was told that due to the school logo there was a one hour cancellation window. I inquired if the logo had been applied and was told no but they still would not replace with the proper size. Why?? Because that is the way they have always done it .... nice answer!! Customer service is awful

Title: Lands’ End Has Lost My Trust – Beware
I’ve been a loyal Lands’ End customer for years. As a 65-year-old senior, I depend on companies that stand behind their products with honesty and integrity. Sadly, that no longer seems to be the case here.
Last season, I ordered my 5th and 6th Tugless One-Piece Swimsuits, expecting the same durability and quality I’ve come to rely on. But one of the new suits—maroon in color—began to fade badly after just a few uses. The fading followed the exact lines where the suit had been folded and stored—clearly a defect in either the fabric or dye.
I reached out, assuming they’d do the right thing. Instead, I was met with an exhausting back-and-forth: requests for photos, tags, order numbers—you name it. After jumping through all their hoops, I was finally told I could return the suit using a free return label. So I should take more time to return the defective suit, No apology. No offer to replace the item or help me reorder at the original price. Nothing.
It’s now high season, and I’d have to pay nearly four times the price (plus shipping) just to get a replacement. Lands’ End clearly prioritized protecting their bottom line over doing right by a long-time customer.
This isn’t just disappointing—it’s exploitative. If a company won’t stand behind the quality of its products, especially for loyal senior customers, what does that say about its values?
I recommend you think twice before supporting a business that treats its customers as disposable. Lands’ End has lost my trust—and my business.
won't be shopping with them again
won't be shopping with them again. They say free returns and then charge $9. Also they make it as difficult as possible to get a return.
From Fabulous to Ridiculous
I started shopping with LandsEnd about 25 years ago. They did amazing knitwear - t-shirts, sweaters, sweatshirts and outerwear jackets. I still own some pieces from that time. My returns were extremely rare.
Their quality went seriously downhill about 10 years ago. I remained a loyal customer.
These days I receive only unbelievably poor junk. The returns are difficult. They don't want their tat back and I am not surprised. I am amazed people still bother to shop there, and they are still in business.
Ordered and then had to return an item
Ordered and then had to return an item. Jumped through hoops to do "easy Return" for instant refund as merchandise credit. That didn't happen. Contacted them to advise I want money back and now it's $8.95 for me to drive crappy pants back to return store. Chat person was less than sympathetic or helpful, just deducted the money from the credit and disconnected.
I ordered several items a week ago and…
I ordered several items a week ago and the items are STILL being processed! Their processing time is abysmal. I telephoned several times and received a different "story" each time about the delay. Rediculous.
$18 to try on a suit that was not as advertised
I have worn their "tugless" swimsuits for years because they are the only suits now days that do not ride up and show your "cheeks". I ordered the scalloped one and the rear end completely gaped open, not even remotely tugless. I returned it and was not only charged a $6.95 processing fee but also had to still pay the shipping and tax so I paid $18 for the privilege of trying on a poorly designed swimsuit. They have lost my business.
WOW What a Waste of $$$
WOW! the worst purchase ever. I bought a Jacket, and a "White Cotton Pintuck blouse" what I go was a cheap temu or shin polyester strechy gross shirt that I will never wear and can not return. What the hell happned to land end, seems like they sailed of the end of the world. Will never purchase from them again.
Used to buy from Lands End regularly
Used to buy from Lands End regularly, polo shirts and roll necks in particular. The quality has declined noticeably and the colours are terrible. I ordered in March (last time ever I suspect) and will be returning because the colours don't look like the website and are really unattractive.
I am very disjointed in LE
I am very disjointed in LE. I have been a loyal customer for many years and in the past few years have purchased three pair of the Women's Petite Starfish High Rise Flare Pants in Small/Petite. I recently purchased a fourth pair in Jute Brown and was surprised to see how long they are. I have checked the sizing chart online, which stated "inseam lengths: Regular 31"; Petite 28.5"; Plus 30". I expected the inseam to measure 28.5" but in reality it measured 30". I contacted customer service and was told that must have been an isolated incident and was allowed to exchange the pants for the correct size. I received the second pair and they also measure 30". I intend to keep the pants, as I have paid shipping and do not wish to pay for return shipping. I also like the color and fit with the exception of the length and will have a seamstress alter the length. This will be the end of my long time relationship with Lands End, as I no longer trust the quality of their merchandise.
The ivory pearl down coat was
The ivory pearl down coat was, £92 just 2 weeks ago, has been put up to £138, although other colours have come down to £92 ie half price, I think it's best to wait, until it comes down in price, as it's spring 🌼 spring and should come down again..
Landmark to Greedmark
Went back today after 30 years. Parking is a rip off and £10 to take a picture of the sign. What is happening to this country another famous landmark ruined by greed . Poor services as well not worth a trip anymore.
Scam
I bought winter coat on promotion, on the next day after receiving confirmation email, price for the coat dropped. But ok. Few months later I ordered some items again, on promotion, on the next day prices dropped again. This company is scam. Never again any shopping there

While the quality of the plaid blazer I bought was wonderful, great colors, etc. the size was completely off. What should have been a size 18, mine normal size for shirts and jackets, fit like a 14. I could hardly move. What a disappointment!
My wife bought me Lands End slippers…
My wife bought me Lands End slippers for Christmas, and admits to paying £66 for these unwearable bits of rubbish, they couldn't have cost more than £3 to produce in you know where, we used buy quite few items from LE because they were of a quality, they've lost their edge. it seems they have gone the slippery slope.
I bought my kids winter gear this year…
I bought my kids winter gear this year as I have in the past. The snow pant lining is all torn. The zippers have broken.
The backpacks are terrible. Torn and broken zippers.
I don't know what has happened to the quality over the hears, but it is not good. The fabrics are cheap and the quality is just plain poor. I won't be buying from them any more.
