OK so I did the Landmark Forum in 2001, I dipped into Trustpilot today to write a review of another company and thought to look up Landmark to see what people have written about them. So it's not as though 'I am in a cult' or have written this review 'because they asked me to' as another reviewer here has alleged against...everybody else writing reviews here!
Although I was 36 at the time I did the Landmark Forum, I consider I 'grew up' and became an adult in the room the three days and one evening I did the Landmark Forum in October 2001. Before that, I can see that I was not really taking responsibility in life, my dad had said he would do certain things for me and he didn't, and I blamed him for not doing them. In the Landmark Forum I realised that - regardless of the fact he said he'd do them for me - if I was being a responsible adult I'd do them myself! It may sound obvious, but the Landmark training enabled me to transform this attitude that I had sitting in my 'blind spot' and transform my relationship I had with my dad, fortunately before he passed in 2004.
And that taking responsibility (not as a burden, but as one of the privileges of being an adult human being) transformed my view of my finances - my work life - my relationships as a whole and so many other areas of my life.
Imagine if you can a world where every adult acts as an adult rather than a grown-up child. I think it could solve a lot of the world's problems!
I have to say that The Landmark Forum is the best value for money I have received for any expense I've made in my life, and I can still say that 25 years after I did it.
Submitting this review also because I recently returned to Landmark Worldwide to participate in their 'Being Fully Alive' seminar, and once again I am learning valuable lessons for my life now approaching my 62nd year!

Wanted to do the teen course for my daughter and they said since she was 15 she could do the adult version, since they didnt have a teen at the moment. We talked to the staff about the worry of it not being geared towards her. They assured us there were other teens signed up (never saw any) and the lady said her own son did it as well. Long story short... 100% NOT geared towards a teen. She could not relate to anyone's stories since she is 15 and hasnt had any of those experiences etc. My child went into it willingly and ready and ended hating it. I thought she may have exaggerated a bit so I listened in for a half hour and it was so out of her realm I was pissed and told her she could stop watching with a day left to go. Called the people to voice the complaint in which I had prior expressed concerned. Basically zero help just a ton of " so and so will call you back" been months and nothing. Waste of money.
DO NOT ALLOW YOUR TEEN TO TAKE ADULT COURSE.
Might be great for an adult and people who can relate, but a teen does not have the life experience for what these people are talking about. And the group sessions are even worse putting a teen in with. She had nothing to contribute since she was a good kid and has only drank once...that's it.
Horrible experience and out the money now. Its a shame since I was really hoping to have both my kids do the teen course.
My husband did the adult course and loved it and he is pissed about the situation. They basically just scammed us in my opinion. Just wanted the money.
Super disappointed.

Forum is an intensive 3 day & one evening session to get you to challenge your assumptions about yourself and give you the option to make positive changes. I got a lot from it (& went on to do the advanced course), but my partner hated it. Can be destabilising if you don't have a strong sense of self.

I took this course based on a random meeting with a lady while I was on a trip recently in NYC. I noticed how she "was" and I wanted whatever she had. The person NEVER sold me a thing. In general conversion as we were talking about healing she mentioned Landmark in passing. I did not understand what it was; I assumed it was a self-help course but something made me go home and research. I created an account and went to the free explore course. I signed up immediately. I did not have to be sold. Then after that I told my now friend I signed up.
I read some of the reviews and I can't speak for their experience but this is a real review from a real person who stands by this program. And cost wise - it is very reasonable. You get a lot for the cost. Many seminars on self help or whatever charge sometimes thousands for just one day and no follow up. With this you get so many hours up front and weeks of support after. You do have to go in with an open mind...perhaps. At least go in and be willing to explore new possibilities. Oh and be ready to learn the REAL you. I suspect that may be a shock to some people.

Just left the weekend of the course. It has dramatically altered how I view myself and others. I was able to see beyond my previously unseen limitations. I walked out with a sense of freedom that I did not know was possible. I also walked out with a dramatic appreciation of the people that I know. Highly recommend to check it out for yourself.

Get your REFUND!!!! Landmark forum may not be legally a cult but it has the majority of attributes of a cult. It is an absolutely horrendous thing where they use some cruel techniques to silence people who dare not agree with them, they publicly shame you if you call them on their bullshit and try to silence you.
They force you to call your friends and family and "take accountability" for your part of the problem, which in theory sounds fine, except there are people in attendance who confess about being abused by their partners, beaten, and the normal response to that should be to encourage them to call the police not just nod and move on because that wasn't really the type of confession the "forum leader" was after. It is a sick environment. They take advantage of really weak people who are in very precarious positions in their lives and bully them into doing things they are definitely not mentally prepared to do and then convince them that the forum changed their life because they had a phone call with their dad and cried. I quickly realised that this was a horrible brainwashing semi-cult and asked for a refund and the forum "leader" (who took unnecessary pride in being the "leader" of a fraudulent organisation) forced me to participate in the entire program in order to get my refund. Wasted days of my life on this crap. It took 18 days to get my refund and I had to make tens of calls, send emails and make a scandal to convince them to give me my money. They are so incredibly aggressive with selling you on the next courses, most of this crap is about upselling you to the next bullcrap. STAY AWAY! And if anyone you know recommends the forum to you, you should reconsider your relationship with them!
PS: A month ago they had 2 stars here, most reviews were negative. When I told them they should read their own reviews to see that people know how horrendous they are, within a month they asked all their brainwashed semicult members to leave positive reviews and suddenly got to 4 stars. These people are intentionally trying to trick you!

The work I’ve done with Mark is unlike anything else I’ve ever experienced in my life. It’s given me the tools to deeply understand myself, overcome the chip on my shoulder from my parents, early divorce, and create wonderful relationships with my wife, my children, and almost everyone I encounter.

I’ve done quite a bit of personal development, including Tony Robbins, Mankind project, Therapy, and graduate work at Stanford. They’ve all been influential. But nothing has fundamental shaped the way that Landmark has.

Their courses can be intense and will definitely push you out of your comfort zone. But for those willing to change, this is the highest impact training you can do.

I found Landmark Education or it found me just at the right time in my life…at a time when I was able to take all the best parts that did resonate with me and tune out anything that didn’t…
To this day I’m thankful for the work I did in those courses…it allowed me to delve into a self exploration journey that was more beneficial at the time than say, talk therapy…I’ve always been a curious person so the inquiry part of the work was something I could easily get behind…
It provided me with better tools for accountability and taking responsibility for my life, my actions, my feelings and that kind of ownership was truly empowering…
Because I was able to uncover beliefs I’d been so deeply hanging onto and carrying around, wounds I didn’t know I hadn’t faced, and pain I hadn’t even begun to process and discover how I was operating out of those things, Landmark was a gift for me in that way and had I not done it, I may not have cleared the pathway to manifest a life partner/husband! 🩷 I continue to reap the rewards from Landmark Education today…it was worth it!

The Landmark Forum was a unique and transformational experience, that takes place inside of powerful, engaging and mind-expanding conversations, enabling me to look at myself, others and humanity from a whole new vantage point. I walked away with radical new distinctions that offer infinite new possibilities for my life and all of my relations.
Landmark education raises the roof on self-imposed limitations— the world is now my oyster and pearl.

Landmark changed my life. It taught me about integrity, Developing authentic relationships and so much more. Really it was like 10 years of therapy wrapped up in a three day weekend. As if someone had taken hundreds of thousands of self-help books and all of the philosophies from throughout time and plucked all the best things from them and handed it to me on a silver platter.

15 years ago, Landmark robbed me -of all my BS excuses for not living life powerfully. I've been aligning with more and more sovereignty, freedom, creative self-expression, love and alignment with my soul ever since.

Recently I went through The Forum again, this time online, and with my partner. It has been incredible for our relationship and even deeper discovering are literally happening daily.

Like any organization, they aren't "perfect' --I'm looking forward to seeing their next transformation --less jargon, less sales, more recognition that while SO MUCH of what is experienced and created comes through language (they emphasize what I'd call a linguistic ontology), there are other & deeper layers of reality to acknowledge and explore (i.e. somatic/sensual; energetic; etc.)

Highly recommended tho, worth every penny.

Landmark transformed how I look at my life and my relationships. I gained self-confidence. I learned about my own values and how to nurture them and live from them. I learned how to cultivate and take care of my relationships so they can grow and also how to repair them. I learned valuable communication tools that affect every area of my life. And I gained a lasting knowledge that I am responsible for and co-create everything in my life. Very grateful to the skills I learned from Landmark.

Made my professional and personal life amazing by applying the principles.

I feel like my participation in Landmark Education has allowed me (and the people around me, vicariously) to continue to benefit from the work I did and continue to do, regardless of not being enrolled at this time. I first participated in Feb 2007 (last time was 2017?) and I've completed the Landmark Forum twice, the Advanced Course twice, participated in 14ish seminars, and volunteered to assist in many Landmark Forums. I know I will go back and continue to explore courses within the next two to three years.

I feel strongly that like taking a shower regularly, I can't just expect to be clean for the rest of my life. Things come up and the more I participate, the more blind spots that get revealed, the more integrity I have, the more energy I have, the less drama I have in my relationships and the more fulfillment I have in my life! I truly believe that for the cost, I couldn't have done better. I like that it's concise, that it gets a refresh annually, that I really got a lot of value from and continue to grow from the experience.

A couple of complaints: the marketing annoyed me at times but I understand that it's a business and it's necessary. I also would like to see more in-person options coming back in style and less Zoom.

I have lasting friendships I've made through my participation and more importantly, these friends know about me (and I know about them) that what follows is a commitment to having clarity and presence around a fun-filled, playful and drama-free life. The older I get, the more important that becomes. I credit my education with getting clear on what's important to me, who I really/say I am, choosing to be at cause in the matter of my life and feeling empowered to deal with anything that comes my way, no matter what and more. Highly recommend!

Helped me wake up to a more truthful reality.

It look me a few years after learning about Landmark before I decided to do the first course. I felt that recruiting had been a bit aggressive, and I avoided people that felt like they were selling something. Fast forward many years and many courses later, I loved the education and confronted so many fears I had in life affected my confidence and limited me in being fully myself. I was already quite successful in life before taking the Forum, by most standards, having received a PHD in Engineering, receiving a full ride soccer scholarship for college, and having great friends. However, I was divorced by the age of 29 and had a lot of confidence issues after my wife left me. I was also driven more to prove myself which lead to an excessive work ethic and a lot of stress because I always took on too much because I was such an over achiever. After the first course, I realized a lot of things. I chose to keep participating and loved every course, but it also isn’t a cake walk. It is confronting in a lot of ways, but moving through what normally stops you is why people have such huge breakthroughs, and I did. My stress levels went way down from debilitating at times to almost non existent. I ended up starting my own company which I later sold to Apple. I have a wife and a lovely daughter and am truly happy. Im still driven, but it no longer comes from a place of trying to prove myself, so I have a much better handle on how to balance life towards the things that are important to me. Landmark isn’t perfect and there are a lot of people that get excited about the education Because of the profound difference it has made in their lives. They can come across aggressive because they want others to experience the kind of breakthroughs they had; and most people I took courses with had those type of huge breskthrouhs. However, you do have to participate and push past your comfort zone, which some don’t do and don’t report the same level of effectiveness. It works if you are willing to try it on. I’ve seen such profound breakthroughs in the courses I took,
People would hardly believe it, but it’s true. Look past what you might feel is a sales pitch and consider that the people really are that excited about what they got.

Landmark is a powerful tool that changed my life in a positive way. I recommend this to all of my friends. Change takes change.

Landmark has made a tremendous difference in my life, one of the most impactful things I’ve ever done. Landmark helped me with breakthroughs in areas of my life where I was looking for a breakthrough AND I had breakthroughs in other areas of my life that I did not see coming! From a richer family life to making more money to really living a created life….I’m giving Landmark a lot of the credit.

Landmark’s training has hands down been the most powerful personal development experience I’ve ever had—and it just keeps getting better. I went from feeling totally lost, stuck in a fog of self-doubt and confusion, to becoming someone who can actually lead with confidence. Now, I’m creating a life I genuinely love—for both myself and my family—and somehow juggling multiple heart-driven projects with freedom, flow, and (shockingly) ease!

Honestly, if a coach hasn’t done Landmark, they’re probably missing key foundations of transformational work.
