Fantastic service at the Regent Street store.... Misbah was great and so friendly ... and helpfully introducing me to the different versions of the nut FrischSchoggi (fresh chocolate) slabs. Her recommendation of the three nuts one with with almonds, hazelnuts and pistachios (which I would never have tried) was a knock-out! Mmmm! Thank you Misbah for taking the time to walk me through the range! 5***** service

Order number 16000049807 - I spent £72 on boxes of chocolates (for valentines, for my girlfriend) and they arrived today with a 3 WEEK EXPIRY date ! Wont even last until valentines ! Would never order from here, disgraceful for a 'luxury brand'. Will now have the hastle of sending it back for a refund.

The staff need sacking if they think thats acceptable to pack!

How old are they - 18 Yr old teenagers ??? Sounds like they are as clearly dont give a monkeys about customers and probably think it's funny ! What a joke !

***********Edit (10/01/26): I don't know if they read this review or not, but shortly after I posted it they replied to my email offering to send a new milk chocolate tablet. I've received it and this one is fine, and yes it is delicious. I appreciate the fact that they did send a new tablet. I've changed the rating from 1 to 4 stars, I don't give 5 because I still think the use of rapeseed oil and other unnecessary additives in their chocolates is unacceptable. Also I personally don't find the chocolate to be so great that it justifies the price. **************

I bought a couple of their chocolate tablets on their online shop, 1 milk chocolate bar and 1 white chocolate, as well as a small box of their famous FrischSchoggi to try. I'd never tried Laderach chocolate before. I received the order in Spain.

The white chocolate was good, nothing outstanding though. The Frischschoggi were nice, but again nothing out of the ordinary. The shocking part is the milk chocolate bar which is completely bland and flavourless, it's like you're chewing a sweet mass of flavorless cocoa butter. It was so disappointing.

I emailed them telling them about this, sent them a photo of the product, and have not received a reply.
Very disappointed, I thought I'd be blown away by this chocolate, as Swiss chocolate has always been my favourite and these are supposed to be high quality and made fresh, and considering the quality these are extremely overpriced. There has to be something wrong with this milk chocolate tablet, that's for sure. I mean, a regular Lindt milk chocolate bar is better than this!

I've also noticed they use rapeseed oil which is vile, and other additives like natural flavours, citric acid, etc in some of their chocolates which should never be used, much less by a brand that's supposed to be top quality.

I don't think I'll be wasting money in this chocolate again.

I received 500g FrischSchoggi chocolates worth £53 presented in a PLASTIC bag! Nuts were burned and didn’t seemed fresh. Chocolates has only 36% cocoa and tastes very average. It is too sweet, all bars had something added to it (like nuts, caramel etc) so it’s difficult to taste real chocolate. Feels like a rip off just because it has Swiss made stamp on it doesn’t make it valuable considering it not even organic!

The chocolates are delicious and clearly high quality. Unfortunately, the customer service did not meet the same standard.

I placed a corporate order in excess of $2,000 and was assured it would be delivered before Christmas. That commitment was not met, and the order could not be fulfilled as promised. As a result, my corporate gifting plans were significantly impacted.

If the level of customer service matched the quality of the product, this would easily be a five-star experience.

First bought my Laderach chocolates in Geneva and loved the customer service. The free tasting is obviously what makes it much better in person, but online purchase is so much more convenient!

I have always used this chocolate shop in Regent Street for years absolutely love the chocolates but last month we went in to buy some chocolates ant inside the compartment that stores all the individual ones had a blue bottle in there. I mentioned it to the staff all they did was say sorry- they have got to change the way that these chocolates are stored as I certainly won’t be going back

Order rejected. Reordered. Two orders then went through. Refused to accept returns.

I made a purchase at Läderach to be delivered to my daughter in Lisbon, Portugal. It was a gift, since this company has several gift options on its website. Sweet illusion! First, they use a delivery company called Osterreichische PostAg, whose website and services are extremely confusing for international deliveries. If the recipient is not found they dont offer a local address to pick it up. location. If you want to give someone a gift, hope there are no problems with the delivery and that the person is home when they try to deliver it. And if they can't deliver?? A lot of headaches communicating with Osterreichische PostAg and total disregard from Läderach. Disappointed with Läderach, because they make delicious chocolate, but poor choice of partners. Good luck!!! Next time, I'll choose LINDT.

Läderach initiated a new delivery of my order. This time they used FedEx services, which is completely different compared to the Austrian company they used. FedEx already informed if the delivery happens unsuccessful in finding the recipient, they will leave a local address to recipient pick up the package. Essential for delivering gifts.

Promised 2-3 shipping. it's been 3 days, not even shipped. Try calling them. Just music. Nothing else. Had to file an AMEX dispute as it will never be on time for my event

Chocolates arrived in terrible condition. Melted and out of shape. Company not interested to resolve the issue despite various emails. Terrible customer service.

Terrible costumer service. We ordered and delivery was supposed to arrive in 1 to 3 days after 8 days I emailed and they just reply that the package is ready to be picked up.
I checked the dhl several times and it says package is somewhere in between so I emailed back and ask them where it actually was and why did I have to pick it up at all when it was supposed to be delivered home. They never answered back I had to find the package myself. Chocolates were ok but the level of uncaring of the costumer service is unnerving.

If you have a nut allergy then you will NOT be buying off them. Almost 99% of there chocolate are praline or have some kind of nut within them. What about people who do have nut allergies who cannot enjoy there product!! The price is also extremely high to. Will definitely nit be ordering or buying any chocolates from theses wrip of merchants!!

Popped into the Covent Garden store where staff couldn’t be bothered so not a good start. Asked for a sample of lime and chilli dark chocolate and I was so disappointed with the quality of chocolate, let alone the flavour! The lime came through immediately and I waited and waited for the chilli flavour to come through….alas, no! I’m so glad I didn’t purchase from an overrated and absolutely overpriced chocolate store!

Seamless online shopping experience! They delivered fresh chocolates from Switzerland to London on time, and the packaging was extremely secure and very fancy to ensure the chocolates stayed in place. Would buy again!
