I had a complaint that I wanted to make regarding the quality of some ceramic pots I purchased from Susan Kemp (Knowes Farm Studio) which were basically no way near as good quality as they appeared in the picture. As I haven't been able to get through by phone, I thought I would post my comments on her website. I was polite enough in my comments considering my disappointment, but made it clear that I wanted the issue addressed. It said my comment was 'awaiting approval' but yesterday conveniently disappeared completely! I notice that she states this on her website - 'Your comments are welcome....well, I say that!' She makes that sound like a joke but clearly it isn't. This has really riled me. I bet I never hear from her. If she decides to adopt some professionalism and does get in touch I shall let you know (and retract this review of course)!

I saw some of Susan Kemp's ceramics in Edinburgh (Grass Market) recently and despite the fact that I wasn't that impressed by the quality of them, I did think they were pretty and I like to support small businesses so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and enquired as to how I could see some more. Weeks later I had still not had a reply to my email enquiry so I called. Maybe I rang at a bad time but when I spoke to Susan she was unbelievably rude and clearly didn't want my business. If your ceramics aren't that good the best thing you can fall back on is good customer service surely as the product isn't going to sell itself, from what I saw. If they were the best around I could perhaps understand. She didn't want to answer ANY of my questions. I've seen other reviews saying this lady is rude so I'm clearly not the first to have experienced this. I certainly won't be calling her again!
