Paid Retainer, No Results – Proceed with Caution

Between July 2024 and April 2025, I engaged Smart Finance Solutions AS (trading as Knect), represented by Tadas Lukosevicius and Øystein Alendal, under a signed agreement to support a pre-seed fundraising effort.

Despite paying a £5,000 retainer, no investor introductions or tangible fundraising progress were delivered throughout the engagement. Multiple follow-ups were either ignored or met with dismissive responses. A formal statutory demand was issued and went unacknowledged.

This experience has been deeply disappointing. I would strongly encourage others to conduct thorough due diligence before entering into any commercial relationship with Smart Finance Solutions AS (Knect) or the individuals named.
