Good integration, not so good data.

The tool integrates incredibly well with Salesforce and LinkedIn. Searching for appropriate contacts is relatively simple and easy (after some time with the tool, and understanding its design nuances) and makes the tedious task of finding new prospects more bearable (and...dare I say a little fun.)

HOWEVER -- my chief complaint is the data itself. I'd say a 30%+ of emails pulled from inside KiteDesk bounce. This isnt good. Especially when you are paying for the data, on top of the KiteDesk tool. I recognize the data is being pulled from various sources, I also understand that accurate data is hard to manage with any tool or resource. However, when you are paying for a premium tool with alleged premium data, you expect the information pulled to be accurate. Ive asked for a refund of record 'points' on the data that bounced, but have yet to hear back. If this was an option, the bounced data would be easier to swallow, as you wouldn't be paying for it.

Overall -- its a good tool, but needs data scrubbing refinement. Its not the end all prospecting tool we are searching for, but its a step in the right direction.

To address your concern over email bounces– which are legitimate– and something we are working to improve. Here's how: We are building an email validation service into the core product, so that we can take down that 30% figure way, way down. So your time isn't spent with a communication that doesn't go through–very frustrating.

We're shooting to have this in our next release, slated for mid-December. Stay tuned.
