Avoid.

Unreliable delivery estimates and extremely poor communication.

I ordered a product at the end of December, with an estimated shipping date between 15th January and 5th of February (as per the invoice)

There was no proactive communication from support to tell me that my order was delayed, and I have still yet to receive it.

Great customer service

Always find the tools I want and good quality options. Last order was delayed quite a bit due to manufacturer. They solved that quick and easy with an uppgrade for same price and I recieved that two days later. Great customer service.

worst customer service EVER

I have been emailing since july about a package that is returned to kitchenlab because I was unaware it was at the pick up point. When I found out it was returned I told them I wanted to cancel this order. They shipped it back from Norway despite me cancelling my order and never answered any of my emails after that. I didn't pick it up since it was at customs and I would have to pay additional costs because Norway Is not in the EU I spoke with Pelle Dahlberg once. After that all I heard were crickets. I want you to confirm next week you received the package that is now on it's way back to you, not shipping it back to me AGAIN and remove the klarna payment.

We’ve reviewed your case carefully. The shipment was sent from Sweden and could not be delivered to your home address because the address provided was incomplete. The carrier therefore redirected it to a pickup point, which is shown in the tracking information you received by email and SMS. We ship from Sweden, no custom or tolls are added.

Normally, we charge a fee for uncollected parcels since we are billed for both the outbound and return shipping. However, in your case we’ve waived that fee and issued a full refund. We have not re-shipped the parcel, and your Klarna payment has been voided.

We hope this clears things up and that you’ll consider shopping with us again in the future.

Do not trust this store

Do not trust this store – complete scam!

I spent a large amount of money on an order that I paid for in advance, and it’s been over a month with no delivery. There has been no communication whatsoever – no response to emails, no one answers the phone, and no updates about my order. At first, there were vague excuses, but now they’ve completely disappeared.

I feel completely scammed. This is unacceptable and extremely unprofessional. I strongly warn others: stay away from this store unless you want to lose your money. I’m taking this further and reporting the issue.

Order not shipped after 2 months

While I understand certain products may be out of stock, then you should not allow consumers to purchase such products and mark them out of stock.

Is this fraud?

Delivery date overdue by a month, no updates from them. Customer service phones do not answer. It was a big order (over 700 eur). Looks like fraud.

Good shipping but iffy product

Shipping was fast and professional but the quality of the product (in this case agar agar) was shoddy. It smelled strongly of seaweed.

Hi! Our Agar agar is premium quality top grade with a extremely gelling strength of 900. In the EU Agar Agar is not allowed to be bleached which means it does have a smell to it of the sea. This is completely normal and no bearing on the quality of the product. The only Agar Agar which does not smell is bleached Chinese Agar Agar which is no where near as good quality. Bleaching Agar Agar gets rids of the smell but is not allowed in the EU. Perhaps you have been using bleached Agar Agar before? I hope you will find our Agar Agar is much better quality.

Extremely slow delivery, terrible customer service

They promise a fast delivery, but they do not ship the products as fast as promised. In addition, they managed to send my order to Norway, instead of Finland. When I tried to resolve the situation with many emails, there was no response. I only got the situation clarified, after calling their customer service and waiting for 30 min. Very poor customer service and ability to deliver. Avoid at all cost.

I much the fact that you really do your…

I much appreciate the fact that you really do your homework to select and filter the best items, and only then you offer them to your customers. On the down side, the courtesy found in your stores tells a different story: only 1 out of 3 of your store attendants show friendliness when asked questions, the other 2 prefer to make you feel like you owe them money, so you're not really worth their time. Consider working on this, unless you're under the illusion that it has no consequence for your reputation. If you conduct a proper survey, I'm confident you will find that the overwhelming majority of your repeat customers come in for the outstanding job that your polite and decent attendant does, but try to avoid the other two, your bad apple primadonna type characters.
