Worst hotel & arrogant staff

We have booked for 2 days but after 2h we ran away. The room for 4 people was a sort of 9m2 with a tiny bathroom and a direct view on a cemetery. Impossible to fall asleep because of a heavy traffic - yes a farsighted mountain is hiding a direct 60km/h street where this hotel is. Good luck to find a parking spot, you will have to cross the street and park on a public lot and then you will have to cross this 60km/h street with your luggages (and the kids if you have) is a proper challenge by itself.

The breakfast in the morning was decent, although emptied by the first wave. So the second wave of people (at 8:30) they had to be a bit more patient so the kitchen can refill the shelves.

Since we had paid for 2 nights but we couldn't stay any longer, I tried to ask kindly the manager if he could refund me, even 50% of the 265EUR rate. He refused. Why would he accept anyways, he had received the money why pay it back.

Bottomline, we had the worst night in Salzburg (which is by far a very beautiful city). So when you pick a hotel, pick the big brands because those locals are skimming off the top and don't have any scruple. Because this is the typical place you go only once!
