No reaction after requesting a refund
I tried out this service to see if my connection could improve a little to American servers (from the EU). The improvement was very minuscule and slowed down non-gaming connections in the background.
The support completely ignored any troubleshooting requests (I had some technical difficulties with the client as well which I could resolve myself) and my requests for a refund.
If you are still dead set on giving KillPing a try, please use PayPal to make use of their customer protection, if you want a refund. I had to file and escalate a case to get my $40 back.

like what did you expect?
was looking at different possibilities for helping lag and all that, came across kill ping, saw that they had year old pictures of league of legends, saw the bad grammar mistakes, saw the other irregularities, like the online users being insanely small, and after reading through all of the complexities of how league of legends works, and what they say is utter bs. Good on you for looking for reviews before taking the offer.

Didn't work and non-existent customer service.
Like others, it didn't make a difference. I was still dropped from my game server due to lag. I cancelled (the next day). It has been a month and two more messages/emails and still no word. I'm surprised they can run a business like this.

The service did not work for me since I was using wi-fi instead of hardwiring. I followed the instructions to cancel and request a refund.
