KNOWLEDGEABLE AND FUN... IT IS POSSIBLE: KARL RAATS

We contacted Karl to ask him if was interested in giving us a workshop on “Feedback”… the challenge was that this had to be done in a different way than the “traditional” way: Not too “dry”… not too boring… Karl surprised all of us with a mix of theory and practice... serious comments told in a fun manner... with very useful tips ... for private and business sphere. With his outstanding presentation skills, storytelling and humor, he totally engaged the audience from the first till the last minute… and to our regret that went very fast! One of the most interesting things is the mix… he is a comedian from the outside… but a skilled, knowledgeable and serious professional from the inside… and you shouldn’t get confused because although you are laughing, there is an underlying important message in his jokes. GREAT!

Creative,honest,and humouristic!

No dry and dull management guru who's preaching from his own book. This is an inspiring, humouristic speaker who believes in the strength and creativity of every person. He asks you simple questions that makes you conscious of your own thinking and behaving paterns and this leads to seeing another perspective of situations. He gives you practical and simple tools that you can use straightaway in your daily (work) life. He makes you see that anything is possible and that you should think without limitations when it comes to dreams or success. (and that there is a simple way to reach your goal) And the most important message of all is that you should support colleagues and complement them in their beautiful ideas and plans. That's wat keeps a company inspired and alive!

One step away from the circle

Karl Raats, an inspiring speaker. With a combination of confrontation of typical human concepts, humor and interaction with the public he is a great speaker. With simple but touching examples he gets to the essence and gives you the 'this man has a point' feeling. I would defenitely recommend him, cause a ribbon is just one cut away of becoming a circle!

Inspiring and great FUN

We asked Karl to help us with the graveyard slot on our offsite on Customer engagement. We had a very engaging session where Karl was able to get us participate and thinking differntly on this subject. He was able to build up on points of the morning sessions and discussions we had during his slot.

And this all in a very open style with lots of humor.

Great event, thx.

Innovative Facilitator

I have hired Karl on several occasions to facilitate large brainstorm/ strategy meetings together. Karl has an uncanny ability to make people feel totally at ease while at the same time pushing them far beyond their boundaries. He can make a group not only believe, but actually experience doing the "impossible". His creative approach is the basis of innovation.
Besides that, he is just simply a great person to work with. I would highly recommend hiring Karl if you need concrete action and what you have done so far won't cut it.

Truly excellent speaker

I booked Karl for the 2nd 'Entrepreneurs Congress' of UNIZO (biggest SME organisation of Flanders, Belgium) as our final speaker of the day. We asked him for a talk about innovating in a creative way, and were hoping for an inspiring, enthusiastic, funny last speaker. We got much more than we hoped for. Karl was a fantastic last speaker, the audience left the hall with plenty of motivation to start innovating AND with a big smile. Very professional and willing to adjust his talk to your needs. Thanks a lot Karl, I would recommend you any day.

Super presenter and wonderful to work with

Karl recently presented to my group of business leaders/business owners on the topic of "Taking the Struggle out of Making Strides" and how to evolve our businesses to the next level. The sessions was a workshop/masterclass format and he kept the entire audience engaged, thinking and participating for 3 hours. We all learned so much and took away valuable insights that we can apply to our businesses immediately. Plus- Karl was a pleasure to work with!

Creativity outside the box and light buld moments!

Karl was the keynote speaker for our conference (100 employees), and the "assignment" from us was to convey the importance of different approaches to creativity and each and everyones responisibilty to contribute to and understand the creative process. The introductive segment was a great mix of laughter, light bulb moments and insights in the human way of doing/not doing things. Karl made sure everyone was engaged in the following excersices and the results was interesting and sometimes a bit surprising (in a good way).

The "Yes Café-segment" was a bit difficult to carry out due to the layout of the conference room. Some of our participants had difficulty understanding the full purpose and potential in that excersice.

One of the many good things with Karl is the limited amount of presentation slides/images. That, in combination with Karls postive energy on stage, makes him a speaker I can highly recommend!

Karl is an engaging speaker with a passion for creativity and innovation, his inspiring, relentless energy and enthusiasm was key to success!

I had the pleasure of working together with Karl twice in 2014 in the Netherlands. He was one of the keynote speakers at the National Human Resource Management conference for the healthcare/ social profit. It was a fantastic event with almost 400 HR professionals and directors. Karl is an engaging speaker with a passion for creativity and innovation, his inspiring, relentless energy and enthusiasm was key to the success of the conference! Karl was the opening keynote speaker with an inspiring humoristic kick off, about ‘De mondhoekvraag’. At the second conference “ National Human Resource management for education, Karl kicked off to create an open mind set by the 200 HR professionals and directors. Feedback from our visitors: Sharp, fantastic, high-energy, passionate, eye-opener and amusing keynote speaker, a score of 8,5. “He was one of the best speakers of the day” I highly recommend Karl and hope we will together in the future!

Enhancing creative thinking and doing

Karl has a great talent in helping people and organizations to 'think out of the box' and to change their perceptions and behaviour. His way of working is unexpected and therefore very refreshing. His view at the world surrounding us is always positive and based on 'thinking in terms of opportunities'. At the same time Karl is strict in following certain steps. This is giving you the feeling that 'we will get somewhere'!
If your organization needs to be shaken up, I would surely recommend Karl!

To Karl or not to Karl

When you are looking for a nice, straightforward, using proven technology based methodologies facilitator.... Do not contact Karl!

I have met Karl several times in one on one and one on many situations. He always amazes me with his open transparent action learning style of interacting with people. He easily connects with all kinds of audiences from highly motivated non profit NGO members to high potentials from government and business society. His way of working is very engaging and creative, using small and meaningfull examples and working styles. Next to real (personal) live examples he easily uses the power of imagination and storytelling.
I would directly advise Karl when you need an icebreaker/facilitator/enthusiastic transformation advocate with an enormous amount of humour, real life experience and an expertise for hitting the right spot!

an honnest enriching challenging experience

Karl triggers my way of thinking like no one else. He literally moves a few km in a session just like he moves your assumptions to the next level. I feel freer as a person after a session with Carl. Thanks to him, I have been able to bring products and service forward which are more viable, desirable and feasible then my first thoughts.
