I had a very disappointing experience…

I had a very disappointing experience with Kam Air. I was stranded at Sabiha Gökçen Airport for more than 24 hours even though my ticket was confirmed and the flight was operating. I was told there was no space available, despite the airline using a larger aircraft.

I was unable to change my ticket, and no refund was provided. I contacted the helpdesk team by email several times, including Mukhtar and Faqir Ahmad, and was told that my case would be checked, but I never received any further response.

Because of this situation, it took me three days to reach Afghanistan from Turkey. I found the customer service very poor and unhelpful, and based on my experience I would not recommend this airline.

I had an exceptional experience flying…

I had an exceptional experience flying with Captain Ghulam Jilani Ghulam on February 25, 2026, from Doha to Kabul. The landing in snowy conditions was truly impressive — smooth, precise, and handled with outstanding skill and professionalism. Throughout the flight, the pilot demonstrated confidence, calmness, and great expertise, which made all passengers feel safe and comfortable. A snowy landing is never easy, but Captain Ghulam showed remarkable control and experience. Thank you for such a safe and memorable journey — truly a great pilot five star for ghulam jilani ghulam

Title: Extremely Poor Service – No Support, No Refunds

I am very disappointed with my experience with this airline. They do not assist passengers properly, especially during urgent situations. When there is a problem with a connecting flight, the airline refuses to help, does not revalidate tickets on time, and leaves passengers stranded at the airport.

They also have a very poor refund process—in many cases, they simply do not refund at all or delay it for months without clear communication. Customer service responses are slow, unhelpful, and do not solve the actual issue.

I strongly advise passengers to be cautious when booking with this airline. My experience has been stressful, expensive, and completely unnecessary.

Lots of misinformations

Lots of misinformations, you can’t trust what you get as advice from the office and from staff in airport. No matter what you do, You have to pay around 150 usd for your only few kg over luggage. We had very bad experience in our trip from Mazar to Kabul snd from Kabul to Tashkent. Read your ticket carefully, don’t content with asking Kamair staff. They are not to trust. No matter what they will charge you extra for your luggage.

I’m extremely disappointed with Kam…

I’m extremely disappointed with Kam Air. I bought two tickets with insurance, submitted my refund form on September 24, and even sent proof — yet they keep saying I didn’t complete it. No proper response from their help desk or customer service.

This is totally unprofessional and unacceptable. Kam Air should take responsibility and refund my money immediately. I’m not done until I get my refund.

They canceled my flight without any valid reason.

I'm writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the recent experience I had with your airline. I strongly advise others to stay away from this airline due to the unacceptable level of service and unprofessional behavior displayed.

Our scheduled flight from Kandahar to Dubai was canceled without any valid reason or prior notice. To make matters worse, we were told we must now travel from Kabul to Dubai, incurring additional charges, a completely unreasonable demand considering the circumstances.

I attempted to resolve this issue through your office in Kandahar, but the staff were disrespectful, unhelpful, and dismissive. Their behavior was not only unprofessional but also lacking the basic courtesy expected in customer service.

Such treatment of passengers is completely unacceptable. If this is how your airline conducts business, I sincerely doubt its long-term success. I hope this complaint prompts serious reflection and corrective action from your management team.

Kam Air flight RQ-902 from Dubai to…

Kam Air flight RQ-902 from Dubai to Kabul – 03:00 - 02.07.2024.

Our flight was cancelled when we were waiting in the shuttle bus to board the flight in Dubai. Think we were around 22-23 passengers ready to board the flight. After waiting 15 min for the last calls and get ready to close the boarding gate. At 02.45 we got informed to get out from the shuttle bus and wait by boarding gate again so we can get information about our flight.
The airline employee from Kam Air informed us that the flight was cancelled due technical issues, and we must wait for further information. By 04:00 we get informed that we can wait at the airport lounge, and we will have a new flight from Kam Air at 07:00.
Not all the passengers got access to the lounge, there were old people and women with children who were hungry and crying. People were tired and had to sleep on floors, chairs and some waiting to get access to the lounge…
The employee from Kam Air was just trying to get done from he’s shift and promised more then he could deliver. The worst of it was that he said we had a new flight at 07:00.
At 08:00 we got some information from the airport reception that there are no flights from Kam Air and there was only one flight at 12:50 to Kandahar. This flight was also supposed to be fully booked so there was no chance of getting this flight either.
At 10:30 we get informed by the personal in lounge that they had more information for us regarding our flight and we had to get out and wait by the reception (kind of kicked out of lounge). We got handed out our boarding passes and told to wait for 20min to get information from the Kam air employees by the reception. By 11:30 there were no Kam Air personal, and people started to get frustrated and at some point, the receptionist at Dubai airport were close to get airport security involved to handle the situation.
11:50 we see the personal from Kam Air and we were informed that we were going to be on the flight at 12:50 to Kandahar and the flight will continue to Kabul from Kandahar. It took some time to get the new boarding passes, but we were relieved to know that we were getting out of this airport. The personal from Kam Air promised compensation for our canceled flight and the extra expense we had to cover up because of the cancellation, but that was another big joke from Kam Air.
By 12:20 our flight to Kandahar got delayed to 13:50 and again to 14.50. At 17:40 were in Kandahar and by 19.20 in Kabul.

When we arrived at Kabul our luggage was lost, but it was found the next day.

The agency that I booked my flight from could not help me or Airhelp on the flight to/from Afghanistan.
The airplane didn’t have any technical issues and was canceled because there were not enough passengers to cover its expenses. There were also not that many passengers to Kandahar.

I know people are in different economic situations and can’t always pick airlines by their choice. But if you can and the tickets are not that expensive by any chance then choose a company that’s not from Afghanistan, especially not Kam Air.
