This is an unacceptable behaviours of a professional

This is a rogue professional, I experienced a few of my encounters with Kevin. If there is a zero rating that is what this company and his cronies would get from me.

The company was imposed on me for carrying out a survey by my Insurer NFU MUTUAL for water damage to my business premises in 2021. He gave me a report of several things that needed doing to repair the damages and imposed another building company( Johns Of Notthingam Ltd 622-640 Woodborough Road Nottingham
NG3 5FS) to carry out the works. However, they both gave us the list and the work to be done but refused to give financial (price) quotations, schedule of work is availabl eas evidence). We requested several times but they refused to commit, hence we found a local builder which gave us the price. It was this figure that we settled with our insurer and the work commenced and now finally completed.

Mr Kevin Lee visited the premises on 13th November 2023 and reassessed the major completed work while finishing was still ongoing. Bearing in mind, that He and his recommended builders refused to commit to giving the price and did not get the work as a result.
He vexatiously and unprofessionally re-assessed the work to our insurer and that the work carried out was only about one-third of the settled payment paid out by the insurance, this is a grade 2* Listed Building that is so expensive to refurbish. However, The information was never communicated to us since last November until a couple of days ago 18/05/2024 when the Insurer is considering the long-delayed Business Interruption( BI), stock and contents parts of the claim. The same man Kevin Lee when he was re-assessing the work stood on 13/11/23 in front of our reception with at least 2 staff hearing him saying that the settled claim from the insurance was far less than what the work required and that he and his builders could not have done it for such a meagre price. Fortunately, both witnesses are willing to testify under oath in the court of law if necessary. He essentially confirmed that the Insurance company (NFU MUTUAL) short-changed and cheated us. He then turned around and gave a biased opinion on the work done so that our BI claim could be affected.

It is unbelievable that a Professional man would collude with his building contractor and not to be transparent, brag that he could not have agreed on the settlement because it was far less but had the temerity, audacity and enfloterry to write such rubbish re-assessment reports. Perhaps, it is a colour and national origin thing with these groups of unprofessional men involved with Insurance claims. I shall be reporting him also to his professional Regulatory body as his actions or lack of it are far less than what is required of a Professional.😡🥵😭
