Terrible customer seri

We ordered garden furniture. We paid to have them delivered and confirmed Friday. We then received and email from Jysk confirming the date. The time of delivery would be between 7-20 so arranged to work from home. The delivery never came and because Jysk did not provide a tracking number, there was no way to find out any information.
I called the customer service, however they close on Friday at 16.00 and it was 16.09. They are not open on the weekends.
Saturday morning I was called by a delivery driver at 09.00 and told they would deliver in 30min. Only to call back and say the delivery truck is too big and the order will be delivered some other day.
We still cannot contact Jysk to get a tracking number and we have no idea when our furniture will arrive.
Stay away from Jysk in The Netherlands. They might have nice products but you have a terrible time getting them delivered.

No Employees Anywhere

(Kingston Ontario location) When I worked at JYSK, there was an employee assigned to every section to assist customers. Went in today, and there was nobody except the cashier. I looked around for 20 minutes trying to find someone who could answer a simple question for me. Eventually I just left and went somewhere else. Cost cutting on employees only ends up costing you in lost sales and increased shoplifting.

Poor click and collect service and aftercare…

I attempted to purchase a garden table from JYSK .I traveled to the branch at Stockport where the website said it was in stock.
Regrettably when I asked in store it wasn't available ie the website was inaccurate.
Staff there helped me order one via their click and collect service at Warrington.10 minutes later that wasn't available either.As a last resort reserved one at Oldham branch, traveled to store to find out they couldn't "find it "in the warehouse.
Complete waste of a day .I frustration I tried to contact customer service by email but that doesn't work either.Speaking to an advisor all I got was a sorry for the inconvenience.Even their feedback form following this call didn't work.
All in all I would not recommend using the click and collect service as it's completely floored.
My experience has put me off using JYSK again and I have now ordered a similar table from B &Q at a cheaper price with free delivery.

I bought a dining table Monday morning…

I bought a dining table Monday morning in Rojales. Unfortunately after assembling we noticed a damaged point just in the middle of the table. I called Jysk and they told me to send a picture. I did and they told me they will come Wednesday or Thursday to fix it. Wednesday morning they were there, very friendly and helpful, they brought and assembled the new table top. The job was quickly done and I was very happy. So 5 stars for Jysk Rojales🙏🏼

Absolutely diabolical!
Do not bother. Ordered two mattress toppers. For a £30 delivery fee you’d expect them delivered by helicopter but no they use the most useless in contactable delivery company that not only can you NOT book a slot with as there are NONE available after 3 weeks they’d lost the order.
Spent the day at home waiting to no avail.
Asked for a refund of the delivery fee only to be told the best they could do would be a £20 gift voucher in store. Cancelled all together.Still awaiting refund.
In contrast I’ve used the store in Spain which are brilliant!
I cannot believe the dreadful service here in the UK.

Beautiful Store

I watched as the store was being opened , although I was in the hospital a lot so I didn’t get the opportunity to go until now. I went in and was excited about the beauty. It was so beautifully decorated and very welcoming. I spoke to a very nice girl named Kim. I told her about my experience with husk in Belleville . Aprox fifteen years ago I had bought a outdoor patio set, it was a huge table with ten chairs , I also bought four bar chairs.I still have them all and they still look like the day I bought them!They have been used every day in the summer with no issues ever. I love my set and most definitely will purchase other items! Your store in Trenton is an asset to our community,Thank you for choosing Trenton!Wishing your store a prosperous New Year!Bonnie

USELESS AND SHODDY

I ordered and received a table in September.
It was damaged. This company are virtually impossible to get hold of. Their online chat is permanently disabled and their phone line is permanently tied up in a queue.
When I did speak to someone and arranged a replacement table delivery and collection of damaged one, it was cancelled with no explanation at short notice.
This morning it was supposed to happen again but I witnessed the driver from Rhenus go to the wrong house and then drive away.
Hours later and I have still not managed to speak to anyone at Jysk.
They are utterly useless and the item I ordered not fit for purpose. Do not use them.

I recently had an extremely distressing…


I recently had an extremely distressing experience with PostNL’s “Extra Home Service”, after purchasing furniture from JYSK.

Despite paying extra for a service that should ensure safe delivery inside my home, the courier:
• Dropped my package and left it outside in the rain,
• Later returned claiming he forgot the delivery paper,
• Entered my home without permission,
• Became physically aggressive when asked to leave.

The situation escalated until a property worker intervened and removed him from the building. Even then, the courier continued shouting and threatening me outside. Everything was caught on security cameras, and I have filed a police report and shared the evidence with PostNL.

To make things worse, several items from JYSK arrived damaged, and no support or compensation was offered despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue.

This was not only unprofessional — it was dangerous.
No customer should ever feel unsafe in their own home because of a delivery service.

I’m sharing this publicly because customer safety and accountability matter.
Companies like PostNL and JYSK must take such incidents seriously to ensure this never happens again.

Terrible delivery , insufficient and not trustworthy

I have ordered more than 3 weeks ago a kitchen cupboard which apparently it would take 1 week to deliver in their shop in The Hague for pickup. Ten days after my delivery they called me to say that it came damaged so they asked if I wanted to order another one. I did that, then waited another 10 days and had to call them to find out what happened. Then they told me that a second one was delivered , but was also damaged due to rain (what a surprise it rains in Northern Europe in November). When asked if I would like to order another one, for the third time , which would take another week minimum to arrive, I cancelled my order. Their refund process takes two to three weeks. So now for six weeks I will be without my money and without the cupboard I need. They also charge really high for home delivery. Do not order from them if it’s not available in the store ! You will wait for ever

i bought couple items at Guelph JYSK 2 weeks ago . The service customer told me there is item no in-stock and It will deliver the Thursday following week which is the 23rd Oct . When i called for information one of the rudest, no respect female customers service was not happy . I dont know how GYSK hiring this Animal to represent the company to serve your customer when i asked her around 10 o'clock that your colleague said my stuff were ready by oct 29 and she said she don't appreciate what i asked, how the hell in which way she twist the word by saying i yell at her. the items suppose to be ready on 22 oct n not ready till i called for. Can GYSK management explain how u hiring this people from zoo to be your customer service, to represent your company?

Items not available after purchase

Over a month ago I ordered a bed frame, slatted base, and mattress (the latter on 50% discount). The order kept getting delayed, and in the end JYSK cancelled the bed frame altogether. I then asked to cancel the slatted base too, since it was only useful with that frame. Finally, they also cancelled the mattress. After weeks of waiting and sleeping on an air mattress, we were simply refunded with no compensation. You see a good sale just to wait and wait and get nothing. Poor communication, no accountability, and a waste of time.

The Vyngan top mattress I bought at…

The Vyngan top mattress I bought at JYSK had a tag on the cover of the mattress (which is just simple sponge, nothing special) saying it could be washed at 60 degrees. So I washed it in the washing machine, because who would think you could measure 60 degrees when hand washing anything! The cover shrunk and now the sponge can't fit in the cover. I went to JYSK and they said I was wrong to wash it in the machine and they can't exchange it! Although the cover indicates it can be hand washed at 60 degrees, the advertisement says it can be washed in the machine which is contrary to consumer protection legislation in the EU. Everything needs to meet the information advertised. So I will get consumer protection organisations to make them regret they didn't exchange an item for 35 euros and it will be so much fun. And I am never shopping in JYSK again!

Issue easily resolved

I ordered 2 bedside tables, having never bought from Jysk before but knowing someone who regularly does. DPD tracking link never updated beyond “we’ve received order details but not the package.” They arrived, one was damaged. I then saw the trustpilot reviews. Contacted Jysk, they offered for me to keep the items and they would either give me a 25% refund or 50% refund to a Jysk gift card. I opted for the latter. Received the gift card so I can’t complain. The other bedside table was great condition so may have been damaged in transit.
