I ordered plants for my rockery and they were delivered earlier than I expected which was great. Plants arrived as plugs and they are thriving in my garden. Lovely healthy plants which were packaged excellently. I've just bought more plants for my my border as i am so pleased with the quality of them.

I ordered a Daphne last year and thought the leaves were a bit yellow sent a photo and they sent another one to me very little root ball. This year they are both dying despite minding them well. Sent several e mails to Aisling and to the company no response . The leaves did not resemble the photo of plant.

I have used J Parkers a lot in the past, primarily because they are convenient and have a wide range from which to choose. The plug plants I have received in the past have always been a bit hit and miss with a loss rate of about 25-30% but...again...convenience is key as I work 6 days a week. Because of the mixed quality of their plugs, I ordered 9cm pots this time...fuschias, hoping to plant out this summer. I received 9 withered, yellow leaved, dessiccated plants that have not responded to watering and feeding. Consequently I contacted customer support via a chat bot providing photographic evidence and requesting a refund. I am taken aback by the email received from customer support earlier. Apparently it is entirely normal for plants to have yellow leaves and I should wait until spring to see if they will bounce back. This is not premature leaf drop, these plants are in extremely poor condition and are unacceptable. Despite providing photographs, J Parker clearly do not believe me and I will have to send them back to receive a refund....tricky as I recycled the packaging assuming they woukd bounce back. Still, the email referred me to J Parker's terms and conditions. No problem, as a refund has been refused, despite the unacceptable condition of the product, I will not use J Parkers again and will advise my allotment and gardening friends to do the same.

I've ordered a lot from JParkers. There has been a small number of dead or weary plants, but while not the best quality, it's good enough given the price.
The website is easy to use, customer service is sensible and I've never had anything missing.
Only problem is they are slow to despatch. But they are up front about this with their predicted delivery times - usually.

Would never order again from this company.
I ordered (order number 23221372)
>tomato plants - they were unable to say when they would arrive and it took weeks. They were then damaged by the courier and they had none to replace them.
>Perennial phlox root plants. 5 arrived and only 2 have taken. The other 3 died or rather were pretty dead on arrival.
>Gladioli corms. These are yet to show any signs of flowering.
>2 dahlia tubers. I have never seen such stunted growth. They are 2 inches high and have been for months. Absolutely of no use.
Added to which it took them 10 days to reply to messages.
Beware and dont waste your money.

Items delivered on time but the quality of some of the plants was poor. I potted all of them on as soon as they arrived but some of them did not survive. This varied with 1 of 3 not surviving but in some cases all of them did not grow. The ones that grew ok in the pots were all transferred into the garden and have now produced a good display of cover. I think that some of the plants supplied were sent out too early before they were established enough which caused them to fail

Be warned when ordering dahlias from J Parker's. I have ordered twice now and on both occasions was sent the wrong dahlia. By the time the plants are in flower and you realise the mistake, it is too late to reorder. When contacted J Parker's did refund me for the incorrect item, but insisted that 'technically it wasn't their fault' as they can't guarantee what they are sent by a supplier!!! Really????

I'm late in reviewing (one of my orders was 2023), but just wanted to say that everything I've ordered from JParkers is growing healthily in our garden. Given the unbelievable summer we've had this year, I'm amazed that the rose that was ordered in May is flowering beautifully. Thank you J Parkers. When I create another bed you'll be on my list of providers!

Ordered two plants, part of a special collection, what arrived was awful, both were completely dry and wilted, now benefit of the doubt can be given here due to the time taken to deliver but I have had plants take this long before and they’ve still had some moisture.
They weren’t packed well, putting one on top of the other with only tissue paper to separate meant the bottom one was broken.
The plants themselves did not match the website pictures at all, what I received was cuttings and very young ones at that, this should be specified before ordering, had I known this I would have gone elsewhere.
Now to rehydrating them, they were given a good soak and what came out was nightmare fuel, floating on the top of the water was a multitude of bugs, a cocoon and even maggots! To say I’m upset and disgusted would be an understatement.
The moral of the story here is, if something seems too good to be true it probably is!

I recieved plug plants that were in a very bad state when I got them. I complained and got a replacement but the replacement is no better.
Also, placed an order on 16th June and 2 of the items have arrived. Finding it very difficult to complain.

Replacement plants as a gift for my niece, after her house move. Wanted her to have same plants to remind of her favourites in her former home. Plants arrived in perfect condition, well grown and luxuriant. I was a little worried receiving them during a dreadful heatwave, but judicious watering and potting on get them in perfect condition. She is thrilled and has the perfect position for them.

Great service, plants are in stock, competitive prices, refunds given in the event of failure. Only gripe is the courier, who holds onto the plants too long despite "live plants" is written everywhere,

I ordered their 4 pack bare root orchard set it came and I planted as per recommendations for each tree.
The Apple James Grieves and the conference pear tree are growing real well and have nearly doubled in size.
But the cherry Stella and Victoria Plum never broke dormancy I suspect they were dead on arrival. Today did the scratch tests the break test n then pulled them both dead out the ground. I emailed the photos with tags and have ordered 2 more as free replacements that will be hopefully arriving late November early December. So they will be in their dormancy n hopefully 🤞 fingers crossed these break dormancy this time. I understand these things happen and if they are true to their word think I’ll be ordering more from these as the 2 trees I have growing are really growing well to the extent I’ll get a small harvest off each next year👍🏻

Unfortunately some of my plants dahlias and other bulbs have failed to grow

Healthy plants, a lot smaller than I expected and no flowers as per brochure, Hydrangea's should be in flower at the moment, so not great value for money

I placed a large order in spring with a delivery date of max 21 days!!!
I called after two months as I hadn't received anything, no apology just told you were busy and basically tough!
After 3month I had - in dribs and drabs -3/4s of the order.
After 4 months I called to asked what was happening to the last 2 items, I was told that they couldn't be fulfilled and I could have a refund.
My question is if I hadn't have called would you have given me the refund?
I can answer this for you - I ordered in autumn a huge bulb order and there was a pack of 50/60 white narcicuss missing and I have NOT been refunded.
It is therefore not a surprise to you that I would never recommend your company to anyone and I will NEVER use you again.
