So glad I went! I’m a type A when it comes to planning and it was so nice to just relinquish control and go with the vibe. I really enjoyed my trip and felt it was a great value

I enjoy traveling but don't have time to research and do all of the planning. Journee planned the trip and made all of the arrangements for hotel, travel and activities. I completed their survey and requested a unique destination. They did not disappoint! My trip was to a location I had never heard of and could not have been planned any better. Plus the suspense of going to a unknown location is exciting!

Journee nailed it! Based on my preferences I shared in my profile, the location, accommodations and excursions all matched me perfectly. I loved every minute of this trip. I will definitely Journee again! I felt safe as a solo traveler. The planned activities were just enough physical and exploration for my taste. The companies that the excursions were hosted by were all 10/10 as well!

The Most Effortless Adventure Ever!
Our Journee trip to Portugal was absolutely amazing — hands down the most effortless and fun trip I’ve ever been on! Every detail was taken care of, and all we had to do was show up and enjoy. From the food and culture to the perfectly curated experiences, everything felt seamless and magical. We were already planning our next Journee trip by day two of our first one! I couldn’t recommend this experience enough — if you love travel but hate planning, this is 100% the way to go.

We were unsure about where to go and what to do about our next holiday - but we had a friend who had used Journee a few years ago and Facebook adverts reminded us that we said we’d give it a go “sometime”. We are so glad we did - everything from completing the initial questionnaire, agreeing the proposal, receiving the clues and then the actual adventure were obviously meticulously planned. It was super exciting trying to guess our final destination, which was a perfect choice for us.
The accommodation was well chosen and the excursions offered us the opportunity to try out new experiences - we won’t say too much so as not to spoil the surprise for others!
Communication was excellent - we were given a detailed itinerary with contact numbers and a guidebook full of helpful hints and tips - from restaurant recommendations, sites to visit and useful words and phrases. Giving control over to Journee was a gamble - but it was also liberating - all we had to do was turn up and have masses of fun - which we did!
We were so impressed that, although we have only been back a few days, we are about to book another adventure!

Journee takes care of every detail of your trip, so all you have to do is have fun! I particularly appreciated them buying train tickets for every destination within the country; it made everything so seamless and easy. The day trips and city tours they planned were things I might never have thought of if I'd been planning my own trip. If you're hesitating about whether to go, do it! You won't regret it.

We couldn't decide where we wanted to go this year.....so we decided to take the stress out of the decision and let Journee organise everything for us! And, what an adventure not knowing where we would end up until we got to the airport!

The clues in the run up were fun (although we didn't try to guess and certainly didn't look anything up), and as the date came closer it was exciting, especially travelling down to Heathrow for a flight to a mystery location!

Bucharest and Brasov in Romania were a PERFECT destination for us - we'd never been before, it was everything we asked for - unconventional (especially the hotel in Bucharest), photogenic (everything!), bustling cities (definitely) and mountainous (the Carpathian Mountains are AMAZING). The weather forecast we were given helped us ensure we had wet weather gear - which was necessary, but we weren't letting a bit of 'weather' stop the fun!

All the trips and guides were fantastic and everything was organised and executed perfectly for a stress free amazing holiday.

We will be using Journee again and we're recommending it to all our friends and family. Try it! you won't be disappointed.

I filled out a profile on a whim and was intrigued by my proposal so I decided I’d go for it. I’m over 50 female solo traveler for the first time so I read every review and watch a dozen vlogs on YouTube and felt very confident. Receiving clues was so exciting. My friends and family were totally into it with me. Guessing as clues came in. The trip itself was exactly what I wanted based on my preferences. The flight was great. My accommodations were right in the middle of everything-exactly what I like! The excursions were spaced out well with free days in between. I LOVED each of my excursions. So fun and perfect for me. I definitely recommend and I will do this again.

I had a really great experience with Journee. After taking a brief questionnaire to work out what kind of holiday I needed, they matched me with Tirana in Albania. They also booked some excursions for me which really suited the experience I was looking for, and was what I needed. Before the holiday they provided a lot of information about what I'd need to take and also provided several ways to contact in case I needed them. I had a lovely time doing things that I loved to do, exploring Zagreb city, interspersed with Journee organised road trips and walks found to unesco and picturesque places.
Accomodation was very central, with friendly very knowledgeable guides.
A trip I will not forget to an unforgettable city experience

I saw a Journee video over 1.5 years ago. Since then, my husband & I planned for this to be our 25-wedding anniversary trip! You are able to pick the general timeframe of when you want to go! All these reviews keep saying "they sent us on excursions we wouldn't have picked on our own" & that is the total truth. All the excursions were wonderful! Tour guides were knowledgeable & funny! There were others Journee travelers on the same excursions! Journee sent us to 2 towns. We spent 2.5 days in a large town & the remining 5 days in a smaller town. The smaller town ended up being both of our favorites! The hotel accommodations were wonderful & walking distance to town center.
Luckily, we didn't need any guidance from Journee while we were on our trip, but the other Journee members on our excursions did & Journee was quick to assist. You should definitely book with Journee!

I loved my Journee adventure! Mystery aside... every aspect of my itinerary was perfect. Amazing excursions tailored to my likes/pace. Lots of great food and attraction suggestions. The location is somewhere I would have never thought of going (Sardinia Italy). My accommodations were better than expected. I would 100% suggest a Journee adventure to anyone.

If you are having doubts about booking just do it. It will be an amazing adventure.

I kept getting ads for Journee as I watch a lot of travel content. I did my first proposal and got scared and let it expire. Then a few months I did another proposal as curiosity was getting the best of me. I liked that I was able to select what mattered to me. Hiking, safe for solo female travellers, and a new adventure. I also liked that you could select destinations that you didn’t want to travel to for whatever reason.

The customer service with Journee is fantastic. On getting back my proposal I realised it was somewhere that I’d already been and didn’t want to go back to. (The first clue was very obvious). I immediately contacted them and put that destination on my ‘no’ list and they did me a whole new proposal over a couple of days.

I loved the what’s app clues that came regularly and I loved the build up for everything, the reveal postcard and information pack was amazing. I didn’t even guess the destination until I opened the envelope.

I cannot fault anything. Everything was so well done, Journee is at the end of text message. Everything was so smooth I couldn’t believe it. I lucked out and got an exit row seat, I booked an airport transfer which was waiting when I landed. I got to my accommodation early and they let me in the room early which was fantastic. The accommodation was so clean and right in the middle of the city centre for convenience but surprisingly quiet.

The activities planned were fabulous and the communication throughout the holiday from Journee and the tours were brilliant.

Just book it you won’t regret it. It was so nice to have everything out of my hands for a change and I can’t wait to book my next Journee.

Overall great trip with the surprise reveal at the airport. It was tough to resist peeking, but we wanted the full experience. Good accommodations, but not great. That was on us as we could have (and should have) upgraded to a four-star hotel. We met two other Journee travelers, and they upgraded to better hotels. The excursions were great, although one had to be cancelled due to high winds. The "foodie" tour was amazing. Raquel was a gem. The trip to Evora with Nonu was spectacular. The trip to Capo de Roca and Sintra was cool, but the weather got nasty for the Pena Palace. (Can't control the weather). We will be using Journee again and we've recommended it to our adventurous friends. Dare to take the Journee; you won't be disappointed.

This was another incredible experience. Journee are fantastic at matching people to destinations and they think of every possible eventuality. You will not be disappointed if you book with them so what are you waiting for?

I didn’t even get to go on a holiday! The task of creating a profile is not only exhausting, but it doesn’t work. I chose not to go anywhere in England and yet the dropdown list showed me cities in England. Also, the list is horrendous to navigate. It starts right back at the beginning every time. The hours you might save searching for a holiday are all taken up by creating a profile of where you do and don’t want to go! They need to sort out their website.

This was such an adventure! I want to be a solo traveller but couldn't decide where to go and was overwhelmed with all the planning so i kept putting it off. I first saw Journee on Instagram and immediately fell in love with what they do. They took away all the planning and made the entire experience fun with the clues and guessing where i was going, even my friends and work colleagues joined in! I thought I was going to Italy and eventuallylearned i was going to Marrakesh! What a HUGE surprise! It was a massive adventure. I loved what they planned for me and although I was nervous I felt completely safe and supported by Journee. While i was away if I needed anything I could reach out to them and they responded immediately. I highly recommend Journee, i love them and will be booking more adventures with them in the future.

I absolutely loved the thought of someone planning and surprising me with a holiday, especially after reading the experiences that were planned for me, and the fun clues that arrived was so much fun.
I arrived to the airport as planned and did the reveal envelope, I was shocked! I didn’t think for a moment it was where I was going.
The accommodation was beautiful I was right in the centre of everything, the experiences were amazing, it was the best holiday I had ever had and it was my first solo trip.
I loved it so much that I’ve booked another one!

It was amazing!

I was writing my Thesis, and did not have anytime to plan a holiday. Journee did it all for us. We had an amazing time, there were activities planned, restaurant recommendations, nice place to stay, what more can you ask?

You definitely feel the care too. They prepare lots of info for you in their pack.

The guides they have books for us are wonderful. The excursions unique. We met lovely people on the way too.

This is my third trip with Journee and it’s never disappointed, it just keeps getting better each time. I travelled solo for my birthday and it exceeded my expectations. The accommodation in Budapest was beautiful in a great location where most things to do were in walking distance. The excursions planned were perfect for me and the Google tips were extremely helpful. I ate lots met lots of people and experienced Hungarian culture.
My trip was well organised, the clues were helpful and playful and the trip proposal was spot on. I will definitely be travelling with Journee again!
