Freezing cold in the apartment during…

Freezing cold in the apartment during the autumn-winter, most of the time temperature is below 19C ( ranging from 18.5-19.1C). They say its according the "norm". The house in front (my neighbours) from different rental company have around 25C at the same time. I asked to fix, promised that someone will come and check, so far- nobody, its already a month im trying to convince to increase temperature at least till 21C. Will change the rental company.

The price does not match the service.

Expensive rent compared to the size and value.

Long waiting times for apartment repairs, and you will need to contact them several times before they react.

Their chat is closed 99 % of the times during their supposed "open hours".

There was a dead fly in the living room when we first moved in. During summer, a lot of insects got stuck in the space between the windows

Will gladly add dirt, or in other ways manipulate the living space before they take pictures to "prove" the lack of cleaning.

Individual apartments do not come with their own water measurement, so Joo is capable and could very well be scam with the water bill as well. As we have not yet received the final bill, it's impossible to say whether or not they will.

If you consider renting from Joo Kodit, make sure to take photos of every single fault when you first move in, and take even more when you move out, because if they can get away with charging you €400 more, they absolutely will.

On a more personal note: They misspelled my name on the rent bills, despite me having sent my info to them with my name spelt correctly. I do not mind being given nick names or such (even though my name is pronounced phonetically, so it should be no problem for a Finn to pronounce it) I am just wondering, if you don't know how to correct 1 (ONE) letter in a name, how are you capable of running a housing company?

The worst experience ever.

The worst experience ever.
For moving first they didnt provide me keys on time and when i got them wrong keys they were except 1.
Dirty apartment with blood on the wall of bedroom. Outdated toilet and they dont allow you to do anything like drilling to install something on the wall but the wall is already full of holes covered by some filler.
The company didint bother to check if the locker that comes with the house is free for for use for the tenant. And when I told them someone is using it they said they cant empty it and from looks of it, this will take about a month to live without the storage and have to live with all the stuff in apartment looking like hell.
Customer service is bad, the contact person for renting in Vaasa, she doesnt care for if tenant is having trouble and to fix their problems and if you call her she never ever answers no matter how much urgent it is.
I had to call several time for the problems to get fixed and so far nothing is fixed. And if you want to move in 2-3 days early the company will charge you for that but they wont give you compensation for all the problems thay have caused me.
Would never suggest anyone to rent from joo-kodit

Joo Kodit: Experts at stealing customer's money. Responsible for rising house prices.

Friendly staff, but they will go to extreme lengths to steal your money. If any appliance breaks they will pressure you to pay for it, even if it is their responsibility to replace it. After you leave they will send their own expensive cleaning service without your consent regardless if your apartment is well cleaned. Avoid this business at all costs! They are breaking the law and only care about profits.

Don't support companies like this: They are one of the main cause for rising housing costs. Please consider renting from private individuals.
