Really frustrated. We have 4 of the same car seats and 1 has developed an issue, where the button to allow the straps to loosen has failed. I first contacted before Christmas, I have been asked to se... See more

I have recently contacted Joie customer services for a spare mattress and then help on a metal clip. Lauren went above and beyond and was super helpful. This was my first encounter with Joie customer services and I was really impressed.

I bought a pram for my daughter in law. Since the purchase the pram wheels have never functioned right the wheels get jammed all the time. We contacted them and where told to clean and lubricate the wheels after using firstly why would you have to do this everytime you use the pram this is not acceptable. However my daughter in law did this and it was still getting jammed. The latest reply is they will as a good will gesture send new wheels so let's see. I would never purchase anything from this company again. We provided evidence photos proof of purchase and they will not take owner ship of the fault never known anything like it

The service has been exceptional. We love Joie, over the last 3 years we have bought 5 car seats, a rocker, a pram, a stroller, a carry cot and a travel cot and it's all been Joie!

I cannot fault this company at all! Our Finiti stroller broke which was given to us as a gift and the customer service was phenomenal. I emailed thinking they would advise us where to get it fixed but after taking a few pictures of what was wrong and asking some more information the broken one had been picked up and a new one sent all within a week. Amazing company and service. The finiti stroller is also amazing and I am very grateful for Natalie and the team for sorting it all out for us so quickly!!

I had a query regarding the installation of the i-Spin 360 as I was concerned that it moved a little. I completed the web form but didnt hold out much hope as experience told me that these never get answered. However, I received a detailed email within the hour, complete with a very informative video, which explained everything and provided me with the necessary reassurance I needed. I was really impressed and can now going pick up my grandson in this great car seat!

I bought a Joie stroller from The Nursery Store (former Online4baby) and it came faulty. Faulty breaks which causes the wheels to get stuck, hood that pops back on the smallest bump, the backrest doesn't go flat. The store refuses to deal with it as they blame the manufacturer. What Joie representative told me- get some lubricant and put it on the wheels. I am sending pictures and videos with the issues, where there's plenty proof that their product is faulty and that's their answer. Overpriced poor quality stroller and appalling customer service. Looking forward for tomorrow to speak with citizens advice. Don't buy! Plenty other options on the market, better and cheaper.

Customer service was excellent at sending me links to the head cover and seat cover for a child's car seat which is no longer made. The items arrived the next day

We purchased a Joie finiti 4in1 loved this pram. However found that the fabric has now ripped over the footrest and the footrest no longer stays in place. Contacted customer service - advised of rip in fabric and daughters feet getting caught in it. Was advised a link would be sent to buy appropriate 'liner'. All ordered waited over a week for delivery, on checking with joie it appeared that the item had been lost and they agreed to send a replacement. Replacement has also now been lost. Since been told that pram us in warranty - originally started process within warranty and they have said they would no look into this. Unsure why the option of going through the warranty was not mentioned when first told of the issue.
Have also been told that they have never seen this before? However on reading reviews on the actual joie website amongst others there does seem to be reoccurrence of this happening to the fabric/footrest.
Has now been nearly a month and this has still not been resolved. No offere of a refund for lost items has been made either.
Really frustrated as this was over £500 with carry cot etc and we were hoping to use it for our current child for much longer then we have been able to and for any furture children.
It has put us off buying a joie pram in the future.

We have a Joie Sansa that had about 6 months use with my first child. The base broke almost immediately but we didn’t use it so didn’t worry too much. The main chair has just broken as well and doesn’t work at all, just 3 months out of warranty. They asked for photos, videos, proof of purchase and details about my child which I sent over and they still haven’t replaced or helped really. Just sent a new power cable which hasnt made any difference. None of the moving parts work. A shame given how expensive it was.

I purchased a Joie i-Base Advance on 22nd May 2023. I also purchased an infant car seat with it, with the intention of purchasing the toddler car seat once my daughter was one.
According to Joie's own website, that still has a description of the item this product
"has a deep recline and is part of the i-Venture™ Car Seat System which grows from birth to 105cm."
However I have not seen the toddler seat for sale anywhere and I have contacted Joie who have told me that the toddler car seat has been discontinued.
I have sent a number of emails since 3rd July to see what they could do to help. I have been told nothing can be done and given links to other car seats to purchase instead, which do not require the base.
I am stuck and feel like the situation is a scam. I purchased the car seat with the expectation that I'd be able to use it until my daughter was 105cm/around 4 years old. Due to Joie discontinuing the compatible toddler seat, I am now stuck with a useless base which I should have been able to use for the three years. It feels like gross mis-selling to do this to customers and refuse to help. If I knew that this product was to be discontinued, I would have purchased the i-base encore, which is compatible with my infant car seat and I still would have been able to use it until my daughter is four. I have purchased many products from Joie beforehand but I am disgusted with the way that Joie are leaving customers in the lurch and grossly mis-selling. They've advertised a product as being part of a system and made no attempt to help with the problem that they have created.

Amazing customer services.
Had concerns about baby's positioning in the i-juva travel system. Tried calling Joie, got to voicemail, took a deep breath, left a voicemail and thought I'd hear nothing of it.
My baby is 57cms tall though that's mostly thanks to long legs. Id bought the system through a third party.
To my surprise, Joie contacted me back the same day. They asked me to send pictures and some details of baby and my purchase.
I was dealing with Lauren from Joie. Having looked at the details and pictures she told me that the seat was certified for babies as short as 40cms... However, instead of brushing me off, she said the baby did look unsafe in the pictures and she'd not suggest using the seat until he was a little bigger. She then went on to say, should I want, Joie would collect the travel system and refund me despite this being a purchase through a third party.
Joie and Lauren showed genuine care for my baby. They've put reputation and care before profits. I've taken them up on the refund offer and the refund was made the day after the system was collected. I have a great deal of respect for Joie as a result of this interaction. I shall be recommending this company to others and I shall be making future purchases from Joie knowing my baby is in safe hands with people who conduct business with integrity and care.
Thank you Lauren and Joie.
Just to clarify following the response from Joie. I have every confidence the seat will suit babies as short as 40cms and keep them safe. My baby just happens to have a small torso making him insurance for this seat... As usual, every baby and seat should be considered on a case by case basis. I'm sure the i-juva will suit the majority of newborn babies and it's highly recommended it. I've purchased an alternative system from another company, and whilst my baby fits, it's not as practical as the i-juva

I wish I could put 0 stars, but for the sake of making people aware to stay out of this company, I had to choose 1 star. I ordered a new mattress for the Joie Kubbie, when I opened it and inspected I found a dent on the mattress where it folds, as well as a tiny hole on the fabric side of the mattress. I took pictures and explained via email. I received a response stating they can't see the hole on the very clear picture I've sent, and that they want a picture of the whole product. On top of that they stated via email that they do not cover returns postage, which meant I had to spend extra money to return it. I got on the phone to them and asked them point blank to clarify if they are refusing to refund me because I won't send a picture of the whole item, they responded very cryptically because they know they're wrong if they say yes. "It's our policy" is the respond I got. I explained that the second I opened the package I evaluated and found issues so packaged it back up straight away, and then sorted out postage to send out for a refund. They kept insisting they need the photo, and my argument was it doesn't matter where the hole is, there's still a hole on it and it's not safe to use for a baby. It really is terrible that you would argue with a customer that wanted to return the item straight after receiving it. Well within 14 days of returns. Is your job really that well paid? The way they spoke to me was so condescending and rude, had no empathy or understanding of the situation whatsoever. On top of that, it sounds like they lack communication within the team, the first person told me that they never mentioned they "don't cover the cost of returns." I've never dealt with such a stressful return, they even mentioned that usually they replace the item. I've said multiple times I don't want a replacement, I want to return the item to get my money back! I hated every moment of this interaction, I'm gonna make sure I tell everyone I know not to ever buy from Joie. Just awful! Please save yourselves and go for a different brand. Don't bother looking at the great reviews, if customer service is bad you know it's a terrible company!

I’m genuinely shocked by the negative reviews on this brand. I have 4 car seats by them, the travel system, electric rocker. All have been great products. The pram is perfect. Car seats I have a gemm, joie signature, joie everystage and 360 ispin. Both my kids loved all the car seats, even my daughter and she had bad reflux as a baby. She’s 3 and in the every stage now or ispin. They feel very safe. The signature is mega for lying flat and transferring onto the pram with the adaptors. The rocker has been great too.
I had to email customer services once for advice on seat positioning and they were quick and efficient.
A shame others have had bad experiences but I can honestly say I love their products and wouldn’t have done it differently if started over with kids.

In January I purchased the Joie i-spin xl. I took my time over choosing a carseat that had extended rear facing, looked up reviews and listened to word of mouth. I ended up choosing this seat as the reviews were good and it spins making it easier for my mum to get my little one in and out of the seat as she has her regularly. It was the worst decision I have made.
Since purchasing the seat I allowed my little one to eat small snacks, dry cereal, rainbow drops etc, in her car seat as long as there was an adult in the back passengers seat beside her. Small pieces of food ended up getting into the gap where the lock is for the straps causing the straps not to lock. I take full responsibility for allowing her food in the carseat however I don't believe any kind of debris should be able to access this area so easily, especially with it being an integral part of the safety of the carseat. As a result of this I stopped her eating in her car seat, the same day I took it into the house, stripped the covers and cleaned and hoovered everything.
Even stopping her from eating in her carseat didn't resolve the issue, debris still regularly got in under the lock that holds the straps in place and because of this I regularly removed the seat from the car, took it into the house, stripped, cleaned and hoovered it. I don't believe any carseat should have to be cleaned and hoovered as often as this one does.
Since stopping her from eating in the seat, debris that has caused issues have been a small stone that I can only assume worked loose from her shoe, this took almost an hour to free from the lock meaning we couldn't actually go where we were intending to go. A broken crayon because I allowed her to draw in her carseat to keep her amused, a small piece of fluff, possibly from her clothes, I have no idea and just last week one of her hair bobbles that she had taken out, this was an easy fix but it's constant and I decided to remove the seat from the car altogether. I was out shopping one day when debris had got in to the gap so I wasn't able to access a hoover, Joies advice is to remove the fabrics and hoover the seat, good advice when I'm home, not really possible in the middle of a crapark. I had to stand in the car park stripping the seat and turning it upside down to try to loosen the debris and these seats aren't exactly lightweight or small.
I contacted Joie and the retailer and suggested a small flap of material over the gap leading to the lock, I have had this on numerous carseats before, including a Joie baby carrier seat that I used when my little one was smaller and able to use an infant carrier, this would still allow easy access to the lock in the event of an accident but it would help to prevent debris accessing the area so easily.
I also don't believe a car seat should have to be removed from the car so often, yes of course check regularly for debris but with this seat debris is too easily accessible to an integral part of the seat meaning more often than not you have to remove the seat to remove the covers to get into this area to ensure all debris has been removed, had I known this would have to happen so often I would never have purchased this seat.
Last week I removed the seat from the car and have stopped using it, my mum was checking and double checking the straps were locked but asked me to check again because she was scared after the issues I've had with the seat, again the straps were tight but did release meaning again something had got in under the lock. If I hadn't checked again, for the third time, had there been an accident I dread to think of the consequences.
Do yourself a favor and don't buy this seat, it isn't worth the safety of your child, the hassle or the money.
Oh, and Joies response was
We can confirm that a car seat is a safety device and it is widely documented that food is given to any child whilst in any car seat. We would also not recommend a child has crayons or other small items that could become a choking hazard when secured in the car seat.
The gap underneath the silver A lock is there to allow the tension strap to be released and without that function the harness could not be adjusted.
We can assure you that all of our car seats pass and exceed all UK/EU legislation, child safety is paramount to Joie Baby UK.
To prevent debris falling inside any car seat, it is recommended that the car seat fabrics are removed, the seat is turned over and rotated and then vacuumed on a regular basis. Your customer may need someone to help.
Please ask your customer to remove the car seat from the vehicle and remove the seat fabrics, and follow the above steps to ensure there is no further debris trapped with the shell of the car seat.
This is not a manufacturing fault.
We hope this clarifies this for you.

Used the Joie pram a handful of times and the pram cover already has a huge rip. I contacted customer service who I have constantly had to chase via email and phone calls only to be advised that they don’t have a replacement cover in stock and they don’t have a stock due date. They will “keep my details on file and reach out when something changes”- what a shambolic response.
If I purchased a whole new pram today, a cover would be included so why am I being fobbed off with this ridiculous answer?
The aftercare from Joie is shocking. I wouldn’t purchase again from this company.

I had the Joie tourist with no major problems until my daughter fell asleep in it a few weeks ago. I reclined the seat and the pram flipped backwards causing the back of her head to hit the concrete path. This resulted in a 2 day hospital stay with concussion. Joie took the pram back to test and found no issues with it. Absolutely disgusted with this brand and wouldn't touch any or their items again

I wanted to buy a three piece travel system that was reliable and sturdy, so i went for the chrome set
I do love the set, its a lovely pram to push. The wheels are big, durable and I trust it on multiple types of surface.
The material isnt the best but its fine, I also wish i chose a black colour instead.
One small issue, the buggy sometimes locks itself at the front for no reason. And can take a while to unlock again. Other than that im happy i tried joie and would again.
