I'm sorry for any confusion but as mentioned in our email to you, your subscription was set to be renewed today, and since you wrote to us late evening yesterday, we were not able to cancel the subscription before the renewal took place. As soon as we discovered this, your money was refunded. It's a shame that you find it necessary to create a 1-star review based on this since I can see that you have used our system quite a lot. I hope you have been happy with the product after all.

Why can't I unsubscribe on your services ?

Have been trying to stop my subtraction for months now and they still charge me, no link on my account to unsubscribe and hard to get in contact with them.

On my account it says that I have a FREE account and they ask if I want a premium account but still im charged 79DKK each month .... is this a general problem ??

I would really like to unsubscribe to your services.

Hi Amanda. You can cancel our subscription anytime you want directly on your account page. On your account it said free account because your last renewal did not go through which made the system automatically rewoke your premium features (since we unfortunately cannot just give our service away for free).

However, I can see that you have created several subscriptions so maybe that can account for why you feel that your subscription was not cancelled. Because you had more than one and only cancelled one of them earlier.

I think it's a shame that the first email we got from you was yesterday (on a Sunday) at 10:30 pm when we could have helped you much sooner so we wouldn't be in this situation. Our customer service answered you first thing this morning (Monday) and cancelled your subscription.

I hope the answer can help other customers even if we are not able to make Amanda happy.

An efficient tool, great articles and brilliant customer support

A great, efficient tool for resume and cover letter. I like a lot of the clean and simple templates. I had a small issue upgrading from 1 to 6 months premium and Anna provided one of the best, quickest, painless customer support experiences I've ever had. What all of the negative comments seem to miss is the fact that this website also provides a lot of great articles for writing applications for Danish and international job markets. Having clear examples is something a lot of other websites are missing, and something that was of great value for someone like me, who is looking to find a job in Denmark. And you can access all of that for free. Price for "only downloading" your resume and cover letter may seem a bit steep if you look at it that way, but this kind of content, a very nice tool and a great customer service are worth the support.

Take money from your card for nothing!

Originally a good site to pay the one off fee for a CV then suddenly I am being charged £9 a month for a service I used once.
Cancelled subscription to find I had been a member since June 2022 even though I only signed up and used it ONCE in Jan 2023!
Will be reporting it to my bank as a fraudulent transaction

Misleading

They should tell customers that you won't be able to do anything with the resume unless you pay. Complete waste of my time as it turns out. I'm not paying $9 per month for an effing resume. What a joke.

We are not sure about what you mean, but ofcourse are not happy to hear about your experience.

When you create your resume or CV you are made aware that in order to download the documents as a PDF file or enable link sharing, you have to be a subscriber.

Our builder is free to try, as a service to you, so you can decide if it's good for you or not. We think that is the most convenient for you as a job seeker, so you don't have to pay upfront or through a trial first.

We’re sorry you were not able to download your resume. We have located the possible problem - it was due to a low screen resolution on the user end. This interfered with the responsiveness of the menu which resulted in the download button not working properly. We have fixed the issue now so it won’t appear again but we have of course refunded your payment since you did not get the service you had paid for.

Focus on the content - Jofibo helps with the layout

Just had a go at creating my resume on Jofibo, it was such a nice experience. They have some helpful guides to help you, but you don't really need them to be honest, because the website is just so intuitive.
I really like the broad selection of templates, the Professional and Creative are by far my favourites.

When applying for jobs you need to focus on the content and not battle with setting up the layout, especially if you are not a graphic designer. Jofibo takes care of the design so you can focus on the content - and they make sure you don't forget a segment. Its brilliant to be honest.

Now I just hope it pays off and I land my dream job, im confident that my resume is as good as it can be.
