“Showroom Expectations vs. Delivery Reality”
Disappointing Delivery, Misleading Information, and Broken Trust
In September of 2025, I purchased a bedroom set from Jerome’s Furniture, and unfortunately the entire experience was extremely disappointing. The set that arrived was not the same as the one shown in the showroom. The color was wrong, the dresser had black paint spots on it, and the bed rails were made of a completely different material. Nothing matched what I was shown and promised.
For a company with this level of reputation, I expected much better. Jerome’s should ensure that customers receive exactly what they choose in the showroom and properly inspect items before delivery. Their lack of quality control and poor communication made this experience even more frustrating.
I also want to strongly warn customers about my experience with their “zero-interest” financing offer. When it came time to sign the paperwork, the terms were completely different from what I was told. What was presented as a zero-interest promotion would have ended up costing almost double if not paid off within 3 months. I felt misled, and I urge shoppers to read every detail carefully before signing anything.
On top of all this, the interactions I had with the salesperson, the customer care representative, and the supervisor, Mr. Rivera, left me feeling deceived and dismissed. Their explanations kept changing, and nothing they told me matched what actually happened. In my personal experience, their communication felt unreliable and misleading, which only added to my frustration.
After everything I went through, I strongly advise customers to be extremely cautious — I personally would not trust this store.
