Black knobs were sent instead of the Gold which I purchased (and were shown in the included packing slip - yet bizarrely not marked with a tick as the other items were).

I reached out via email a week ago for the correct Gold knobs to be sent so I could finish my pedal build. No reply was given, so I reached out via their website form - again no reply.

EDIT: Despite still having no communication, Gold knobs received via 24 hour Tracked (which is appreciated). They were in the post already before writing this review.

A few words of communication would have been good.

I have now made 3 of these kits and they are great.
Easy to follow instructions and good quality pcb's.

I had a problem with an incorrect value component but after a quick email I received the correct part within 2 days.

I've bought a coupe of guitar pedal kits from Jed's , they have clear instructions and the components are almost always complete. If there is anything missing, a quick email, and it's straight in the post, arriving ready before the paint has dried on the enclosure. They even helped with a stupid noob question i had one evening. Service is great and you can get a pedal made for the fraction of the cost of a commercial one.

Exceptional kits and customer service! Having tried a few I can safely state that these are the best kits you can buy WORLDWIDE. Blows the competition out of the water.

I’ve built two of Jedspeds and shall build more. Easy to follow instructions and a good backup network if you’re having problems. Great pedals for far less and excellent customer service.

Great kits, great service, and awesome support network. I’ve built quite a few of the kits now starting as a complete novice. Would highly recommend.

I have been buying kits, pcbs and bits and pieces from Jed's for nearly 2 years and the quality of products, service and support has been nothing short of fantastic.

In this whole time there has only ever been one kit which arrived with a part missing - one email later and it arrived the next day with the first class post.

You won't go wrong with Jed's 🙏

I've tried, I really have. A few years ago I bought a kit from Jed's Peds. Kit was fine but it took weeks to arrive and my queries regarding its progress were met with very defensive and quite arrogant responses.

So I went off to Fuzz Dog, always excellent by the way. But, I recently wanted to do a Shredmaster clone. No longer available at Fuzz Dog. Ok, I'll give Jed's Peds a second chance, it's been a while.

Kit arrived in good time, but was incomplete. I emailed to report this, after a few days there was no reply, I asked if they'd got the message. No reply, so I order the missing bits from somewhere else.

I do get a reply, no apology just a yeah yeah I know type answer. I told them not to bother.

And I won't bother again either. Fuzz Dog guys, Fuzz Dog!! Or Musikding, also excellent.

So far I've been really impressed with the customer service Jed's Peds have to offer, it really is second to none, I haven't recieved my product yet but I'll update when I have
