Worst customer experience ever

Worst customer experience ever. I placed an order on July 22 and haven't received it by now although they have already deduced the money from my credit card. Made several request on-line and also called them and they could not give me a status of my order and they couldn't even give me a tracking number for shipment.

Sent me the wrong item and still wanted me to pay!

Wow! Poor customer service. I ordered a skirt and they sent me blouse, something I did not even order. When I contacted customer service, they wanted ME to pay for shipping to return the incorrect item and would not credit me for the shipping I was charged to receive the incorrect item. Needless to say, I am done with J.Crew, website and brick and mortar locations. Do better!

J. Crew - zero customer support

I have long loved J. Crew products and was excited to get some items I ordered from them online. There was a delay with shipping and I thought, no big deal, I'm not in a rush. But when I didn't hear back from them I went onto the website to send an email through their customer service contact system to ask the status of shipping.

The email contact system wasn't working - the pop up required checking a box that didn't exist. So I tried the customer service live chat function and received a message that the chat feature wasn't functioning. So I tried to call the customer service phone number and was on hold for 15 minutes with no answer or estimation of length of hold time. So I tried to call their international customer service number and was on hold for 15 minutes same result - no answer or hold time estimation.

As a last ditch effort I just sent an email through their corporate partnerships email account but given all the ways in which J. Crew customer relations has not worked, I am not that hopeful.

J. Crew - I cannot believe I need to write this review. Your company customer service team is so bad, so nonexistant. I'm surprised and deeply disappointed.

I recently shop Jcrew at Derby Street, while I was looking for my size , the associate name Deirdre came over told me not make a mess so she doesn’t have too to clean after me , that very rude and disrespectful, if she help me look for my size than I don’t have too.

No words for how bad it is to shop with…

No words for how bad it is to shop with jcrew and jcrew factory online. Been shopping with jcrew for many decades. What is wrong with their website???? It's soooo clunky and slow - nothing like wasting you customers time with the slowest loading times in the ecommerce arena not too mention extremely painful check out process. Who ever is running the company's ecommerce site should find a new profession.

Awful customer service

Awful customer service. I ordered an item which was to be delivered a week later. After two weeks I emailed asking where the item was and was told this was actually a pre order item (which it did not say at the time of ordering) and that it wouldn’t be shipped for another week. Now its finally been shipped and my tracking says it will take a further 28 days to ship. Got nothing in return for these issues from customer services apart from that my feedback is valued. So annoying! Will be avoiding buying from J Crew again.

Ordered prewashed JCrew tees. They were stiff and their tailoring was off. Had to pay $7 to return them even though it was an online purchase. Bye bye J Crew

The online shopping experience at J…

The online shopping experience at J crew is terrible. During a sale I placed an order. To my surprise the email confirmation stated the item would not ship for three months! The first time this was even communicated was AFTER the order was placed!

I selected “standard” shipping when I purchased my item. The website stated it would ship within a week. There was no indication of a back order.

I chatted with someone at J crew about this. They cancelled my order and had me reorder, assuring me that my order would now come within a few days, expedited, because of the original inconvenience.

One day later I received an email that the second, corrected, order was cancelled! I chatted with customer service once more to figure out what was going on. They claimed they did not have the item I ordered in stock! Again there was no indication of it being out of stock, backordered, or waitlisted on the website!

Today you can still add this item to your cart and at checkout still claims it will arrive in a timely manner.

This is ridiculous and makes me very hesitant to purchase from j crew online again. I’m going to find what I’m looking for at another retailer now to avoid headaches.

Their shopping website is TERRIBLE

Their shopping website is TERRIBLE. First time ordering, will be last time. Enter promo code. Go to cart, it's not applied. Go back and try to enter again? "Already applied". Okay, great. Maybe once I am checking out it will.
It didn't.
Go to order confirmation? No way to cancel order, "please see returns".
GO to online chat? Sorry, they're too busy.
Basically, Im getting charged. Then I have to go through the hassle of returning.

Terrible experience

Terrible experience. I accidentally entered the wrong shipping address and reached out to them immediately after placing my order. Despite contacting them right away, they were unable to update the address or cancel the order. Absolutely ridiculous. Now I’m stuck trying to resolve this myself through UPS My Choice, which is a hassle I shouldn't have to deal with. I will never order from here again. Extremely disappointed with their customer service.

Lost package

I have a mail order lost. Took a month to arrive, but thenit wad not delivered. The 3rd party tracking wanted me to pay $60 and they would call the delivery company. Not moee money. Really. I called jcrews customer service and was t old that they would researsc it. They called their carrier and they said that they delivered it anf it was signed for. Alhough they shouldnt provide a receipt. We had new snow there wasnt any tire or foot prints. Jcrew is sending out anofher

I ordered 3 trousers

I ordered 3 trousers. One was cancelled, the other 2 came very late. The fit was quit strange. Very big and 1 very short (petit but very very petit) I returned the trousers but J. Crew didn't to pay back the full amount. They counted 52,30 euro delivery costs for the return. The return policy didn't give any suggestions that the costs were that high.

J Crew never should have switched to Synchrony bank- they fked my credit because I was sending my payments to their previous bank and after writing a letter to Synchrony they didnt even respond to me- just kept charging me fees and ruined my credit.

Love them!

Being petite, online shopping is my go-to! I absolutely adore this brand's clothes, and I've never had any issues with their return policy, which is a huge plus. I'm a big fan of those massive shopping hauls a few times a year, especially when everything's on sale. Black Friday is my absolute favorite for grabbing their winter collection, and I just scored some amazing deals on leftover items during their recent huge sale (last week). Their coats are fantastic, but the sizing can be a bit tricky. I always try to visit a physical store to get a feel for the fit and see if the petite sizes will work for me. My wardrobe staples from them are definitely their tops, A-line dresses, and those infamous cashmere sweaters – hit or miss, but always worth a try.
I've been writing more reviews lately, and it's so cool to see those rewards points (including cash for birthdays) and discounts add up. It definitely made a difference in how much I saved on my last haul. So make sure to advantage of that.

Horrible shipping times

For the price of these shirts, about $100 for a cotton shirt, J Crews delivery of these shirts is laughable and unbelievable. I ordered this shirt back in the Black Friday Sale and I still have not received the product as of January 14. I called them today and they said Jan 22 is when they will ship out. Their emailes say Jan 16. I guess J Crew gets their orders first and then goes and have seamstresses make up the shirts! Why would I ever purchase from this company again? And to pay so much money for the shirt!

Andrew, the store manager asked me if I needed assistance and by far Best Customer Service I have received in a long time. He ask all the right questions, made some recommendations and I ran with it. Walked out a happy customer.
