Jays Sporting Goods is a CANDY STORE

For years my husband has been going to Jays and for years have seen it go downhill. Today was his final vist as he does not need aisle after aisle of candy, shoes, pocket books, or clothes. He frequented for fishing supplies which they no longer sell. Go to their website today look for ice creepers which a high population of Michigan fishermen use on their waders 365 days a year, they advertise in stock. An item used by dozens who use the creepers to navigate the Manistee River 365 days a year ! However, you drive 100 miles one way to find they are not in stock, they are removed to a warehouse to not be sold again until the ice fisherman need them on some pond ! Ask them then ok do you have mustag 31760 and the clerk will sarcastically reply,' oh we don't sell that any longer' . Yeppers made room for another candy shelf I'm sure. He has contacted a dozen coming from the East that always stop at Jay's and advised them unless they want candy, etc do not waste your time even going there again. Kind of a shame as they would stop in after a 1,000 mile drive and all spent hundreds Good bye candy store, forever !
