Customer service is definitely 10/10! I visited this music shop packed with all manner of instruments, looking for a shruti. I was able to play a few and following advice, I was offered a beautiful sounding shruti, finished in unpainted teak wood. After a little reed adjustment, I agreed to buy her and am totally happy with my purchase. I look forward to playing and enjoying the sound of my new friend. Thanks again team!

I recently visited JAS in Southall interested in buying a harmonium. Sadhu spent time with me explaining the different options and finding out what I was interested in using the harmonium for in order to find the right fit for me. When I played the Standard Body harmonium with English Reeds, I loved the strong resonant sound, fabulous tone and sustain. It's a beautiful looking instrument as well. JAS included a gig bag and delivered the instrument to me very quickly. A service and tune up is included in the first year and I am absolutely loving learning and playing this fabulous instrument. Thank you to the team at JAS who I highly recommend.

I recently purchased a dhol from Jas musicals and cannot complain a single bit about my experience. The customer service was great, letting me take my time when choosing the right one rather than being rushed.

Jas musicals have been amazing, I have purchased my Dayan,, Bansuri and just purchased my Shehnai, the customer service from the staff was first class Sadhu gave good advice and Harjit explanation of my Shehnai was really helpful, he is going out of his way to get me reeds, which are becoming difficult to obtain, my bansuri plays so beautiful and in great tune, again great advice given, thank you all the staff at Jas musicals, il be visiting soon to talk about a Sarod.

I ordered a concert quality Dayan and Bayan head and a tabla bag. Really happy with the quality of the products that I bought from JAS Musicals. Also really good, friendly customer service. I decided to give myself a birthday treat and buy a really good sitar with a solid case (my first sitar exploded after an amplifier fell on it many years ago). So I bought the Ravi Shankar style professional model and I love it to bits (this is now my third sitar).

The guys in the shop were really helpful and carried my new sitar to my car for me (I use a walking stick). I could have just bought online but I wanted to see and touch my birthday treat (after all, it was a lot of money for me).

If you see 'cheaper' instruments on Amazon etc, bear in mind that on top of these 'bargain' prices, you will have shipping costs, import duties and VAT on top of all that because the 'bargain' instruments are shipped from India and other places. The prices here are transparent and what you see is what you get. I'll be definately going back there.

A visit to this little gem of a shop is well recommended.

I ordered Masala for Dholak from JAS Musical Southall
after two weeks I called and asked where is my order,
The lady on the phone said we posted recently so I have to wait few more days, I live in London only 18 miles from the store, My order arrived today after 19 days. Very disappointed with your service. Not a single word sorry for your bad service. If you order from this store think twice

I am a physician working in the NHS, and an amateur musician. I went to Jas Musicals with three of my musical instruments which needed some tender loving care(read repair). I met Mr Harjit Singh in the store who greeted me a big smile on his face. I showed him the instruments - a dholak, a ‘dubki’(a frame drum from Bengal) and an ‘ektara’(a drone instrument played by the Bauls of Bengal). Only the dholak was from Jas Musicals which I have bought a couple of years ago.

Mr Singh personally took the trouble of repairing all the three instruments for me. He did a fantastic job of making them as good as new, and that too at a very nominal charge. I cannot thank him enough for his expertise or for his generosity.

I would very highly recommend Jas Musicals to any musician and music lover based in the UK.

I bought a scale changer harmonium from jas in southall plus many other musical instruments in the past many years. I must say that the customer service I received was extremely exemplary. The staff there are very helpful, professional, friendly, smiling and gave customer a wide range of choices. No pressure to buy any items. I would recommend Jas to everyone who love music. After a year with the Yoga Harmonium I’ve recently upgraded to the Deluxe model. Beautiful instrument, perfect for relaxing the children that I work with with special needs. The sound work we do is greatly enhanced by this vibration - a lovely addition to the Yoga and massage, for increased healing, energy, peace & positivity :-)

Ordered a tabla set from Czechia. It came in about two weeks in excellent condition, all set up and tuned almost perfectly, which was really surprising. It sounds great. I have absolutely no problems with the quality. However, I'm very disappointed with the customer service. I've asked a few questions on WhatsApp - never got an answer, then emailed the same questions again - no answer, forwarded the email to another contact email and to the same one once again - still no answer. Also, the set came without the tuning hammer, which was included in the description.

Update: I've just received a call with apologies for the missing hammer and delayed answers. They're sending the missing hammer along with some additional items. I think you guys deserve the 5 stars after all and hope that you'll have more workforce to keep up with the high demand and many questions from customers. :)

I recently bought a Harmonium from Jas musicals. The instrument was an excellent piece. The owner ensured that I was completely satisfied with the Harmonium and his after sales care was excellent. I bought a yogi harmonium from Jas musicals and I absolutely love it , the sound is excellent.
Hajib was extremely helpful and friendly helping me to choose which one would be suitable , he played them via WhatsApp and was extremely patient. The harmonium arrived within a couple of days , it was packed beautifully.

Quick delivery to France and excellent advices from the seller. I purchased a tabla set on friday delivered the next wednesday.
Before buying we had a whatsapp call to see and hear the tabla.
I highly recommend.

Slightly delayed review...my husband and I purchased a dhol from here in July and we had such amazing service from the owner. He was very honest about which Dhol would be ideal and he even let us pick our own tools (I don't know what they are called) and let us choose the tassels to decorate it. Great service, welcoming and full of knowledge and expertise.

the tabla i ordered came in perfect condition. sounds great. precision craftsmanship from a company i will recommend to all my friends
