Unprofessional and lacking transparency

The locksmith was called as an emergency by someone else on my behalf (I lost my house key while walking my dog with no phone or access to one) who said he would charge me £100 without an explanation about what the cost entails and why this amount, only a question about the type of door. Eventually, I was able to get into my house with the help of good neighbours and at this point the locksmith arrived. He insisted that I pay the full amount for a service I no longer needed and had no way of cancelling in enough time, again without a credible explanation why that is. Quoting T&Cs on his website, which he could not show me at the time, he forced me to pay for a service I never received. After reviewing his website, there are three different web pages that state different information regarding how much or whether one will be charged, if an emergency service is no longer needed ("at the discretion of the locksmith" , "half the price" and "full price"), which is inconsistent and incorrect based on what I got charged in the end (£70). James displayed a very unprofessional and slightly disrespectful behaviour towards me, showing no consideration or understanding of a stressful situation, as he claims on his website. I was not provided with an invoice for the money I paid him and will definitely not be using his services in the future or recommend them to others based on my experience, particularly as there is a lack of transparency on his pricing and T&Cs.
