Helpful for small amounts, but with room for improvement
We received a small loan through eBay from iwoca Deutschland, and it helped us purchase material when we needed it. The process was definitely less cumbersome than dealing with a traditional bank, which we appreciated.
That said, their portal did not always work reliably, and the credit evaluation method was not very transparent or easy to understand.
Apart from that, we did not have any real problems. For smaller amounts, it is absolutely okay and can be a practical option if you want something simpler than a standard bank process.

Had to provide a bunch of documents
Had to provide a bunch of documents before I got approved. This took me days... which I kinda expected but still hoped we could close within 24 hours, but at least I got the credit I asked for... AND THANKS FOR THAT!

They are incredibly fast to process the…
They are incredibly fast to process the loan application and deposit the credit. I have experiences with other banks in the past, but non of them so aligned with the modern banking world. Very happy with my experience with Iwoca.

Not what they offer on their website
They write to offer an eay short credit line for companies (GmbH) and we tried it with the smalles amount of 15.000 EUR even that we have an earning over 200k per year. But then they ask only for personal data and a Schufa request with a negative result (due to the personal invest into this GmbH). So the finances of a company are absolute irrelevant and it would be the same if I ask my personal bank for a credit. Useless!

This service does not pay enough attention to the quality of the process during the document request to make a decision. Unreliable service and insufficient customer care to feel confident. There is a lack of quality control.
