Excellent Customer Service; Excellent Product!

Wow - what a great product! This is exactly what I was looking for. I received the product much sooner than expected; I placed the order 6 Jan and received it 11 Jan.
I received a courtesy email when the order was placed, the product was shipped, delivered, and post delivery to ensure I was pleased with the purchase or if I had any questions - Excellent customer service.
The product came with clear, user friendly instructions and took me all of 5 minutes to apply to my MacBook Air (13 inch, M1, 2020).

ils ont annulé ma commande sans aucune raison.
J’ai demandé le délai de livraison et n’étant pas en mesure de livrer, ils annulent tout simplement la commande.
Inacceptable.
La réponse ci dessous de la société est mensongère, ils m’ont répondu à mes commentaires sur les réseaux que le mieux était que je commande ailleurs et qu’il était incapable de satisfaire ma commande.
Afin de pouvoir continuer d’afficher des avis positifs, ils ont banni mon adresse IP pour m’interdire de communiquer sur leur site et réseaux.

I asked for the delivery time and not being able to deliver, they simply canceled the order.

The response below from the company is misleading, they responded to my comments on the networks that the best thing was for me to order elsewhere and that they were unable to fulfill my order.
A truly dishonest company
In order to continue to post positive reviews, they banned my IP address to prevent me from communicating on their site and networks.

You placed your order on 22 Dec (Friday) and wrote to us on 24 Dec (Sunday, Christmas eve) asking whether it was possible to cancel the order as you did not want to wait up to 3 weeks for delivery. We replied within an hour, explained that while deliveries from USA to France can happen quickly in just 1+ week, it usually takes between 1 to 3 weeks, which was why we quoted the turnaround time as such. It can also potentially take longer if there is a delay - delays can happen, especially so at this time of the year because of the holidays and the volume of mail in the postal networks. You replied stating you would like to continue anyway. However, as you started that email with how disappointed you were, we misread it and assumed that you wanted to cancel, so we cancelled your order and processed a full refund by mistake, which was really too bad for us!

We're heartened to see in your email to us today that you are still keen in placing a new order despite your experience and we understand that you're worried about "waiting for the process" again. If you put through an order now, the package will ship in the next 1 to 2 days. This time is required to make the order. After which, the international postal mail turnaround time still applies. We cannot make the postal mail delivery magically happen more quickly, even though we wish we could. If you are still keen, please put through the new order as soon as you can. It'll be processed asap, and after which, we have our fingers crossed for you with the hope that the package gets to you quickly.

Update: Further to your latest demand to "compensate you" by "bearing the cost of express delivery", I'm afraid that this is not possible. If you put through a new order after the order was refunded on Sunday, there would have been zero difference in the shipping date because of the Christmas holiday. However, you are expecting us to make the 1 to 3 week international postal mail delivery estimate disappear.

Indeed, we are not able to deliver this package to you in the timeframe you envision with the shipping method you paid for. We refunded your order by mistake initially but given how the issue has unfolded, it was perhaps for the better. We work hard to make our customers happy and do not believe that you will be satisfied shopping here. Your order was refunded in full and you lost nothing. We will not be responding any further and wish you all the best elsewhere.

PS: It's the Christmas season. Some things are not worth hanging on to. Let it go, be with your family. Meilleurs vœux.

Wonderful Mac skin

Great website and OG xbox sticker

Great website, great comms after purchase, sticker is pretty awesome as well! Wish it had joined on the edges, small gaps on each side make it not perfect. Also front pattern and top pattern do not line up which would have made it look much better too. Still looks great

The Skin was designed not to touch the edges on purpose as this ensures the longitivtiy of the Skin. Skins that are cut such that they reach the edges are much harder to apply as there is no margin for error and they may not stay on properly for long - such Skin edges will overhang if not applied with absolute robotic precision, will get caught up with use over time and are more likely to get lifted. This damages the Skin.

There is supposed to be a very tiny gap between each Skin piece and the edge of the surface; the Skin is to be applied such that the "gap" is equal all around the Skin piece (Skin centered on the surface). This gap is hardly visible on a design like EXO Pioneer where it's almost black on black.

We're glad you like the Skin set overall!

Quality seems really good

Quality seems really good. I'm getting a second life out of my magic trackpad that I accidentally cracked.

I made one mistake applying. I had it almost perfectly applied, and. then I decided to recenter 1mm, but glass shards stuck to the adhesive, so now I have some lumps. The trackpad is 100% operational and doesn't cut, so I'm happy.

The sticker decal was a bit off on the…

The sticker decal was a bit off on the exact measurements of the button cut outs there's a gap visible from the sticker and the base of the arcade stick I'm using I was hoping it wasn't visible and was cut out to the exact measurements but it's off and doesn't look very good .

There is supposed to be a very tiny gap between each Skin edge and the edge of the surface as shown on the product photos. If you've aligned your Skin set flush against the top edge, the gap will be larger at the bottom. The Skin has to be centered between the two. When applying the Mayflash Arcade Fightstick F500 Skin set, it has to be centered firstly based on the position of the buttons and stick, then positioned such that the gap from the faceplate edges (top, bottom, left, right) is equal all around.

If applied properly, the Mayflash Arcade Fightstick F500 Skin set looks brilliant. Example photos:

High additional expenses for international customers

I had to pay about twice as much for shipping & VAT as I paid for the product itself – so for international customers it’s just not worth it. Very nice customer service though (hence 2 stars instead of 1).

Thank you for the review. We're sorry to hear about the import duties levied at the German customs for your Amazon Kindle Skin.

Our products are made in the USA and ship freshly made directly from the production facility - this is how we can offer such a large collection of designs with support for so many devices. We do not believe that there's anything similar or at the same quality level in the EU.

Import customs charge is effectively "VAT" and is already factored into the pricing of any other product that you purchase within Germany. Products that are sold on our web store do not include this charge - we only bill for the cost of the product and the shipping cost. VAT is for the "consumption of goods and services within a country" and is levied by the customs office of some (but not all) countries when the package is imported. It looks like they tagged on some administrative charge or there's a minimum customs charge amount per package in Germany as they billed you 9 euros for an item that cost only 13.50 euros. We suspect that if you have multiple Kindle Skins in the same package, it may still cost the same 9 euros at the customs.

We bill shipping at its cost price and our shipping quote is subsidised for multi-product orders. For example, it cost about 14.50 euros to ship one Kindle Skin to an international destination. You'll still pay only 14.50 euros to ship 10 Kindle Skins to the same destination (even though it'll cost us more to ship). Given the costly international postal charges, it'll be more worth it to ship multiple items in the same order rather than a single one. If you only need one item, one way to save will be to make a consolidated purchase with friends/family and share out the ship cost.

It may be possible for the import charge to be much less if paid for online. For example in France, if the import charge is paid online before the package arrives, the total cost is about half (~6 euros) of what the postman charges (~12+ euros) if he collects payment at the time of delivery instead.
