I needed to update all my IOBit products with my new email address which did not appear to be possible online. An email to IOBit support resolved the problem and all my products were updated by the support technician.

Read well what you download, uncheck boxes when necessary and cancel automatic renewals manually.
Other than that iObit has served me well for over 10 years.
I've been an iObit Advanced System Care, Uninstaller, Software updater and Driver Booster user for many years, but I always make sure I check the boxes and uninstall anything I don't want.

I have used the pro version for over 10 years, it’s quick, convenient and easy with a wealth of tools. Yes, the free version promotes purchasing their other products independently (included with the pro version).
Updating drivers, cleaning your system, deleting programs, improving and managing startup, updating programs, drivers and boosting ram and cpu usage. The malware fighter is not bad with bitdefender integration , I supplement with SuperAntiSpyware.
The popup ads are annoying, but just click and they close. I find it’s a good value for a one stop fix for many situations.

It didn't do what I hoped it would do when it came to duplicate files. I asked for a refund, which they promptly did. I also bot the uninstaller and after they returned my money, I uninstalled it, but the program still advertises to me with popups. It didn't completely leave my computer. I think they think they are funny. I will never buy anything from this group again.

TOO MANY ADVERTISEMENTS AS NOTIFICATIONS OF WINDOWS WHILE THEIR SOFTWARE IS INSTALLED IN WINDOWS!!!

I used their product many years ago (10 or more), it was okay but not great I have found better. But they are impossible to get out of your bank accounts and Paypal. They just keep deducting money and I don't seem to be able to stop them through Paypal's automated systems.
My advice is do not go near them in the first place.

Although the consultation was conducted in English via chat, it quickly achieved the desired result. Therefore, I can highly recommend it.

I appreciate the concerns that many have had accessing support for this software as I have in the past as well. Plus many times I have had issues with the software itself. However, as a long term user (since 2012) I find that the software has year-over-year become better and better. I recently upgraded again for 3 years and found it easy to do so with tech support (not using any of the many vendors they have).

In 2022, their Smart Defrag product damaged one of my hard drives while it was running. They didn't care. They told me it wasn't their fault. In 2023, Malware Fighter damaged my installed software. In 2024, they extended my subscription, but charged me 20 euros more. In 2025, I bought one-year licenses in the summer, and now when I entered them, it shows that they cut 140 days from the total purchased. That was the last time I made the mistake of buying anything from them. Given how unreliable and uncaring they have been, I'd rather get their products for free from other websites!

iobit software updater says that everything is up to date, yet when using another program I get 9 different programs that need updates

I have become forgetful in my later years, and over the pasr two minths managed to place multiple orders for the same package of software. It took IOBIT only one day to get the refunds in place. Wonderful service! Thank you.

Frustrating as I like their software and have always renewed manually in the past for the best deals. If you accidentally forget to cancel the auto renewal it says you should get a 7-day warning that it is about to renew. I got mine this morning with a warning that there was 0 days to auto renewal which I picked up within minutes and I was charged whilst waiting for the access key to get to the website to stop it. Thanks for making my day today stressful, I'm hoping the refund request goes smoothly, I'll update here if it doesn't.

IObit markets through a reseller called Paddle. When I received a cancellation notice and wanted to understand why, I was unable to reach iObit except through Paddle. This reseller hides behind a poorly designed chatbot that took fifteen minutes answering questions it choose to ask while ignoring mine. When the issue finally arrived at iObit, they responded swiftly and effectively.

Very Disappointed as a Paid PRO Subscriber — Far Too Many Ads, Unwanted Installs, and No Respect for Users
Review:
I’m writing this as a paid PRO subscriber of several IObit products, and unfortunately my experience has been extremely disappointing. I expected professional, reliable software — instead I’ve dealt with constant interruptions and behavior that feels intrusive and disrespectful to the user.
Across multiple laptops and desktops, IObit programs repeatedly acted autonomously in ways I never requested. Pop-ups appear at random, ads continue even though I’m a paying customer, and the software is constantly pushing “suggestions” that feel more like aggressive marketing than useful features.
What bothered me most is that the software repeatedly tried to install additional IObit/iTop tools that I never asked for — such as iTop VPN, Software Updater, and iTop Easy Desktop. These installs felt pushy, unexpected, and went far beyond what I would consider normal behavior for premium utilities. As a user, I want control over what runs on my system, and this experience made me feel like the software was making decisions for me.
Instead of improving my system, the constant advertising, pop-ups, and forced recommendations made my devices feel more cluttered and disruptive. It’s frustrating, especially considering I’m paying for the “PRO” versions.
This review reflects my personal experience as a long-time customer, but based on what I’ve seen, I cannot recommend IObit or iTop software to anyone who values transparency, user control, and a clean, reliable system. I strongly suggest exploring alternative tools.

I recommend avoiding IObit products entirely. One of their programs showed a close to full-screen Black Friday pop-up that could not be closed, ignored Alt+F4 and Task Manager, and stayed locked on top of everything. It effectively took control of my PC. The only way to get rid of the pop-up was to click on the "casino" wheel. This is just not acceptable.
After uninstalling, I found background tasks still running, which is not acceptable for a system utility. I have reported this behaviour to Microsoft Security Intelligence as a Potentially Unwanted Application.
I have also received renewal reminders even though my current licenses still have several months left
Bottom line: this experience was bad enough that I would advise others to stay away. I have uninstalled all Iobit products.

The absolute worst and among the most degenerate software companies out there, with nothing but ill intent, their software serves no beneficial purpose to users or pc's whatsoever, its amazes me they even have customers when what they offer is the absolute lowest quality, just pure dogs*it, either collecting unimaginable amounts of data, telemetry, logs and heavy background tasks constantly running, which most likely includes a backdoor, as it acts beyond intrusive, it might as well be called a subscription based spyware.
