Has anybody recently ordered anything from this company ?
I placed an order over a week ago , requested an update but nobody has been in touch and having read reviews are now worried .

Excellent customer service

Investigated the availability of a particular type of window hinges with the manufacture. They were not available so then supplied an alternative product. Very helpful and a great service.

Great service and price

I needed a replacement Eclipse sash lock in a newly refurbished factory unit for a relocation. The builders had fitted a jammed new lock in a new fire door so i needed the same lockcase dimensions to prevent compromising the fire certificate. Finding a stockist was difficult, then at a reasonable cost - Intertools online had one and despite it being two days before Christmas they delivered it - longer than the three to four days stated, but it was Christmas! The price was very competitive by some margin, so well done and many thanks. Call out to James.

THIS LOT ARE A BUNCH OF AMATEURS

If you want to buy something that doesn't exist from a bunch of amateurs who haven’t got a clue how to run a business then this is the place for you. Is it even legal for a company to take someone’s money for an item they don’t have and have no idea when they might even have it..? Shop with these jokers at your own risk…

Joke shop!

Placed a substantial order almost 2 months ago, i have had 1 email containing an invoice. I have chased by telephone twice and on the last occasion was told my order would be with me the following week, that was 1 month ago. I now feel i have been ripped off and will be requesting a full refund next week. Other reviews say this is just a small business which i am all in favour of supporting but my support wont make any difference as this business will fail due to appalling customer service. Avoid the headache and shop elsewhere.

I feel like I’ve been scammed I ordered…

I feel like I’ve been scammed I ordered products a month ago. However, I have not received them. although I had received an invoice and have also been charged for my order. Also, I am not able to get through to any phone lines making it hard to speak to anyone in the company. Communication is key when running a business I believe and this is outrageous service in which I am not happy with one bit.

Excellent company and service. Thank you

As others point out, orders can be a little slow in being fulfilled but Interhire aren't a massive company with hundreds of employees.
James has been nothing but a great help in keeping me updated with my order. If we don't support small companies then we'll be left with the greedy national suppliers who won't be competitive on prices and charge us a lot more and give no customer service.
4*'s anyway but the additional one to show support for Interhire.

Called first to check stock on a couple…

Called first to check stock on a couple of large specialist Sorby Chisels as the website seemed a bit outdated. They immediately confirmed stock so I placed my order online. Within 10 mins they'd called me back to confirm packing and dispatch. less than 24 hrs later the chisels are here in my workshop. Hard to improve on that service, price was amazing too! I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Many thanks to Paul for such excellent customer service!

No goods no response

Placed a order on the 7th April emailed again on the 18th April for update still no goods and no response on the 28th April.
Why are they still showing the warning on their website about Covid? Cannot keep using this as a excuse, if thats what they are doing.

Great price…. Fast delivery

Placed my first order with this company just a few days ago. My order has just been delivered. My items are as described as you would expect. Great communication all the way. I will be using this company again as their prices are really good. Only thing I would say is that their site needs updating re Covid as it’s still on about lockdown. My invoice number is INTO1260

Placed an order and waited for over two…

Placed an order and waited for over two weeks,
nothing from intertools no goods or contact, I called them and they said they would send out what that had and credit what was not available, but still waiting. So many other suppliers do a much better job.

Read some reviews on here and caused me…

Read some reviews on here and caused me to have some reservations, but I have to say they were wrong my email had been answered promptly my order arrived in good time I would say all round a nice little company to deal with wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Still waiting after 3 weeks

Made an online order 3 weeks ago and yet to receive my item. They posted an apology for delays due to covid and short staffing on their delivery section on their website but have an enquiry email box for customers. I have filled this in 3 times now and have yet to have a response despite it saying they will get back in touch ‘ as soon as possible’ . They haven’t got anyone manning their telephones due to staff shortages and therefore no other way of contacting them . Custom service ( not that there is any ) is so poor !

Even though I ended up not buying anything I can't fault their service!

I placed an order with InterTools Online for some weather seals. Just after doing so I needed to cancel the order. I emailed them to request the order be cancelled, got a quick reply and the credit was processed back to my card within a few days. While I didn't buy anything from them this time I shall bear them in mind in the future as I can't fault their service to this (non) customer.
