I recently attempted to purchase tickets for the Inter vs Roma match as I already have flights and a hotel booked for that specific weekend. I used the link provided for the Inter vs Roma fixture, which took me to a seating map of the stadium where I selected the seats I wanted and completed the purchase.
However, after the transaction went through, I discovered that the tickets had been issued for the Atalanta game instead, which is this weekend. At no point during the seat selection process was it made clear that the fixture had changed. The page clearly appeared to be for the Inter vs Roma match.
I immediately contacted customer service to explain the situation and asked if the tickets could simply be swapped for the correct game. Unfortunately, I was told there was “absolutely nothing they could do,” which is extremely disappointing given that this appears to be a fault with the website.
As a result, I am now over £100 out of pocket for tickets I never intended to purchase. This could have been resolved easily with a simple exchange, but instead I was met with completely unhelpful customer service.
Very poor experience and extremely frustrating, especially when travelling internationally for a match. I would strongly advise others to double and triple check before purchasing, as mistakes caused by their system apparently cannot be corrected.
