AVOID - Administrative Nightmare
AVOID - Terrible Administration
Accepted a quote from these people on 13/2 for a policy due to start on 14/2.
A few hours later I got a quote from one of their competitors which was more than a £100 lower with lower excesses.
Under the FCA and distance selling regulations I immediately cancelled via email before the cover even started.
The following day I missed a call from them acknowledging my cancellation.
I called them straight back and got an answerphone. I called back two days later 16/2 and got an answerphone but this time left a message reiterating that I needed to cancel both the policy and the credit.
On 19/2 their credit contractor did a full credit check on me despite cancellation.
I immediately emailed Intasure again which line the phone message was again ignored.
On 25/2 I get an email from Intasures credit provider Premium Credit with a payment schedule indicating that the inadequate admin at Intasure for ignoring statutory rules on cancellation.
Called them today and was told that despite several instructions the policy had not been cancelled. Their manager couldn’t explain why he and his staff ignored messages. He also said that he wasn’t sure if their contractor Premium Credit would remove the credit check from my record despite the credit check being done 5 days after the policy was cancelled.
If Intasure cannot manage a simple cancellation it is cheat that they would be an administrative nightmare in the event of a claim.
The Directors of Intasure should be ashamed of their low grade admin staff and managers.

I filled out a call back form on several occasions and no one had the courtesy to return my contact. I decided to telephone the Sweden number from Italy and was put on hold waiting for an advisor. After 6 minutes and a call cost of 1-14 euros I hung up. I seem to think calling Sweden is reconnecting with the UK office. My advice - go somewhere else!

Intasure had no problem offering me a…
Intasure had no problem offering me a combined household insurance policy in 2020 on a house they knew was built in the early 1900s. They never sent anyone over to inspect it before they made a decision and were informed at the time that a thorough survey on the house came back with no reported issues. Two weeks ago, they declined a claim relating to damages caused to my roof by storm Babet in October, citing general 'wear and tear' as the cause of the damage. What was rather poor was their attempt to back up their decision by arguing that there was not enough damage to neighbouring properties to suggest that the storm was indeed the cause of the damage to my roof. Having been their customer since 2016, I now deeply regret the £££s I spent on their premium, which would have been enough to cover at least half the cost of the roof replacement bill that I now have to foot either way.
